The Charme of a cottage (from the outside)

The inside of the cottage was very poor and simple Also breakfast was beneath adequate You could have a decent breakfast for an additional payment

A beautiful place, a cozy cottage with a terrace. We stayed on Saturday night and in the evening a DJ played, we could enjoy the game at our house. Breakfast in the morning on the sunny terrace with a beautiful view. The room was clean and everything we needed was there. The only downside was that the soft floor covering was unpleasant for the eyes. with stains, this is probably because people walk with shoes. I would recommend changing something to something easier to maintain because it spoiled the view. I believe it could have been cleaned but worn out. I would definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends.

The welcome was warm and friendly and the room was in a lovely cottage next to the canal. We ate in the restaurant for our evening meal which was ten out of ten and I would definitely recommend. The fridge in the room had milk, water and yoghurts for the continental breakfast along with cereal and croissants. A cooked breakfast was available for an extra cost but we were happy with the continental breakfast. I asked for a hairdryer and it was delivered to our room within 5 minutes. We would definitely stay here again when visiting London and it's close location to Heathrow airport is an advantage. Excellent value for money. Thanks to the staff who treat us like friends and made us very welcome.

I recently stayed at the Watersedge Canal Cottages and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. They were always willing to help with any questions or requests I had, and made sure that I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The hotel/cottages themselves were absolutely beautiful. The location on the canal was picturesque and peaceful, and the cottages were decorated in a modern and sleek style. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, and had all the amenities I needed. One thing that really stood out to me during my stay was the food. It was out of this world! The meals I had at the hotel were some of the best I've ever had. The ingredients were fresh and the dishes were expertly prepared. I was really impressed by the quality and variety of the food. Overall, I would highly recommend the Watersedge Canal Cottages to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable stay in a beautiful setting. The friendly staff, modern and beautiful cottages, and delicious food made for a truly enjoyable experience.

There was honestly nothing that I didn't like about the hotel/cottage.

Free basic continental breakfast with cooked breakfast available at weekends. Our dog was allowed for £5 a night. Very new separate accommodation with an outside eating area looking over the Grand Union Canal and it's barges and wildlife. Lovely walks from the doorstep and handy supermarket not far away. Very helpful and friendly staff. Very handy for Heathrow airport or Uxbridge tube station both just 10 mins drive away. A nice burger or steak dinner menu with vegetarian available reasonably priced.

The hotel warned us that there is a DJ who plays on Saturday nights with a 1 am cut off. That is the case but I hadn't realised quite how close to our accommodation that would be. I was worried I wouldn't be able to sleep until it stopped but I did (or I could have partied!) There needs to be another surface in the room for personal use please.

Fab location overlooking the canal. Large airy room with a comfy sofa, table and chairs and bed. XL tv on the wall, the biggest I've seen in any accommodation. Hangers provided with a rail that was at a decent height. Also a hairdryer provided. Fridge in the room - what a bonus! It had water and milk and yoghourts already in and they were lovely and cold. Ordered food at the bar and it was delivered to the room. Great food and service. Staff were lovely.

The location was perfect for our trips out and stunning scenery I carnt wait to go back in summer the room was just perfect for what we needed and dog friendly. Although we didn't eat in the hotel it looked absolutely stunning and smelled delicious they were catering for a baby shower on the day we arrived. The outside are on the canal is beautiful with lots of heated evening sitting and pods that are bookable and a staged area for night performances. What a gem 😍

3 o'clock check in but you can request an earlier time

Only a 15minute drive from Heathrow and easy to find, in a very comfortable and extremely clean room with great wider pub facilities if needed. Quirky location right next to the Grand Union canal. The staff were very welcoming and knowledgeable. I stayed midweek so quiet; particularly appreciated the provision of a light in-room breakfast (and fresh milk in the fridge!) for my early start, and more than happy with the secure parking.

I can’t think of anything - would definitely use again.

The meal at night was lovely. Congratulations to the kitchen staff. I would eat there again and have already recommended the place to relatives who live nearby. The cabins were cute but see below.

I poured the milk on my cereal and it was off. Came out chunky and sour and smelt. Thus no cereal for me. You need to replace milk daily, not just assume it’s ok. The floor of the room needs a good clean. It was a little gritty when walking bare foot.
