Quiet countryside stay. We chose the B&B as it was just up the road from Holmfirth vineyard we were visiting in the afternoon.. The room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful old beams reflecting the building history. There was a great choice of breakfast in the morning with the opportunity of sampling the farms meat and eggs, we couldn't resist having the cooked breakfast. We only wished we had more time so we could explore more of the beautiful countryside.

Our room was spacious, well-appointed and very clean. The hosts were helpful and quickly responded to requests we made, for example providing an iron and ironing board. We also appreciated the fresh milk available in mini milk bottles for use in our bedroom. The dining room was very spacious and the views over the valley superb. The breakfast menu had a variety of options and the produce from their own farm was excellent.

The WIFI signal in our bedroom was very poor and the TV also suffered from a poor signal.

No problems with the booking, arrived a little early but no problem getting in the room. The room was spacious and very comfortable, Didn't actually meet anyone until breakfast next morning but everything was clear on what to do around the property. Owners and staff were nice and friendly and helpful on where to go and what to do.

The internet access was very poor but wasn't told before going, not really a problem just had to re arrange how we found things in the area

Perfect sized room, very comfy bed, very clean, large spacious bathroom, superb views. Excellent service at breakfast with plenty to choose from and all cooked in front of you so you know its fresh, and I'm assuming the majority of the produce comes from the farm as you can taste the difference, compared to your usual run of the mill buffet style food that's been sat in trays for ages. Plenty of parking space. Cheap in a taxi down to Holmfirth village - £6-£7, (was there for a gig at the PictureDome), which meant we could enjoy the day and not have to worry about driving.

Can't fault this place at all. If I was to have 1 negative, it would be that maybe the checkout time could of been slightly later than 10.30, maybe 11.30-12.00, but totally understand that the rooms need a little longer to clean given the current Covid conditions. Did not let this put me off though. ( just personally enjoy a bit more time to chill on a Sunday morning!)

The B&B's location is beautiful with wonderful views over the valley. The owners were so friendly and helpful, giving us advice about local walks, where to eat in the evening (some excellent gastro pubs within a five-minute drive: the Pickled Pheasant and the Fleece Inn) and the breakfast was fantastic. We even brought back some bacon and eggs from the farm shop. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room are welcome, fresh milk available, and we availed ourselves of the packed lunch one day when we couldn't get out.

I can't think of anything. Perhaps just warn people that access to the farm might be difficult in snow and fog, as the road between the farm and Holmbridge is quite steep and narrow.

Location amazing. Fabulous views. Breakfast exceptional - local (very local, from their farm) and my partner indulged in the farmhouse breakfast both mornings! Bed very comfortable, the skylight meant we could look up at the stars. Could hear sheep bleating and on the final night the gentle mooing of cows in the field behind (not my partner’s snoring!). Local taxi as recommended when booking really prompt and on time. Handy for the vineyard - we were attending my son’s wedding. First time in this area and would love to return.

One minor (very minor) issue - the TV not visible from bed - in a separate ‘sitting area’ with sofa, which was great when getting ready the the morning, but not for those who may like to watch tv I’m bed - this is a guilty pleasure for us when away as we don’t do this at home! Top tip, when leaving to head back towards the M1, turn right (not left as directed by the satnav) and you come out eventually onto the main road by the Bosholt Trout, rather than negotiating the narrow lanes through Holmfirth, which twists and turns and results in coming back towards the Bosholt Trout anyway.

The lovely response to my phone call to check in whilst bride and bridesmaids were getting ready, Lisa came and met me in the car park and escorted me safely to my room without disturbing the wedding party 🥰 and also providing an excellent breakfast the following morning. Fantastic service, thank you once again 😊

Our stay was perfect. A beautifully clean room in a wonderful location. The breakfast was wonderful and freshly cooked to order each morning by the very friendly hosts Lisa and Andrew. Would certainly go there again if visiting the area and will recommend to others.

Our only problem was that we were in a room with a beam over the bed and my partner is over 6ft tall! I managed to fit underneath it, just!

Breakfast was the best we had in U.K.! Gorgeous room with amazing beams. Super hosts! Incredible views from dining area. Great for family or couples.

Wasn’t expecting most restaurants to be closed Monday. Should have checked. Owners did say we could bring food into kitchen and cook.

We loved everything about our stay at Coddy’s Farm. The property is warm and cozy and the finish on every part of the accommodation is high-end. So many thoughtful touches, such as the thickest, softest towels, high quality bathroom products, a basket of biscuits and refreshments, and an in-room kettle. The property is heated via ground source heating, powered by its own windmill and its water comes from a local spring. The breakfast choice was amazing and contained only local, freshly cooked/baked, free-range products. Finally, the farm is in one of the most beautiful areas of the country. We woke up each morning to chickens and sheep nearby, birds, rabbits and an amazing range of wild birds.
