The staff were welcoming, helpful, and really knew their stuff. Our room (number 10) was just beautiful, every feature oozed quality and the whole room was immaculately clean. We dined elsewhere in the evening, so I can't attest to their dinner menu. However, the breakfast was amazing - in the quality of ingredients, their preparation, and presentation - and the friendly staff happily accommodated special additions/changes to our dishes. It's been an altogether wonderful experience. 10/10.

Nothing. Everything was perfect.

The Hotel was fabulous in every way - very cosy, extremely friendly staff and a lovely 'Kitchen' Bistro for breakfast & lunch. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was fantastic, as was the warmth in the bedrooms. Bed was very comfortable. An express supermarket & coffee shops nearby. In a nice area. The renovation of the building is amazing & each room has it's own features.

Couldn't complain about anything. If I had to be really picky, I didn't have any view from my window & a bigger desk space to work from would have been a bonus.

Very well equipped room. Very comfortable, cosy bed. Excellent bathroom/shower. Very nice breakfast included in the rate. The staff were very friendly.

There was no warning from the hotel that the road would be closed due to a Christmas fare at check in or booking. Was unable to leave the car park after check in, evening time. Moreover, the restaurant wasn’t open at time of stay. Was informed at check-in and noted in brochure that breakfast was at 07:00, serving didn’t start until 07:30. Unusual smell coming from the mini bar fridge.

Superb accommodation and lovely welcoming team. Good breakfast choice and the waitress was super friendly and helpful. Dinner was of exceptional quality and service top notch. Bar was good, and busy on our Friday late afternoon. Lovely touches in the room, nice decor and very large bathroom - it was just a shame that our room (no 6) was on the front of the building and facing a very busy road so there was a fair amount of traffic noise. We would certainly stay again, just not in room 6.

I was absolutely blown away by the cozy atmosphere, comfortable accommodations, and lovely personnel. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The lobby was warm and inviting. My room was just as cozy, with a soft bed, fluffy pillows, and coffee/tea/biscuits ready to be enjoyed. But what really made my stay special was the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and genuinely seemed to care about my enjoyment. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay.

Decor and comfort were amazing. Bedding was just wonderful. The rooms did have that feeling of being a bit special. Loved the room 6 the first night. Then really loved room 11 the second night as I required somewhere to stay in the area again. A big treat for myself but felt it was worth it. I am worth it. The whole Manor House Experience was stunning.

The breakfast menu was not clear to me. In the confusion of thinking I would have to pay for anything more than a danish or cereal. I had very little breakfast. It could also of been explained that the choice as a guest was mine to make or I could have returned in the day for that breakfast menu. Perhaps a concession for being only I person and not 2 would have also been welcome. There was only myself to potentially have breakfast. Maybe offer lunch or evening meal. The bath water was not hot enough. Amazing bathroom. So a bit of a shame. I asked if bubble bath and candel were available. As the answer was no, then I popped out for my own. Wondered were the taster boards meant to have a treat on them for guests in rooms. Showing examples of what you could of had was a shame.

As I booked this hotel due to my brother's wedding. The hotel itself is very nice, the bedroom it was like a heaven, love the bathroom. It got everything that you need. The breakfast which I had was English Breakfast and the black pudding was lovely and tasty and I think that was the best breakfast I ever had. We had lunch as we arrived early and it lovely and the staffs were very nice.

Nothing to added.

My very late booking was handled by Demi who even managed to book us a table in the restaurant at very short notice . The food was outstanding as was the service by especially Molly whom it was a pleasure to meet. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff , the room was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent too , We will definitely be returning.

The weather but that is not something the hotel can do much about.

Room, food and drink were excellent, could not fault what I received.

Booking.com advertised room service for this hotel, which I value as a woman travelling alone, however this is not provided so could o with being updated on the site. Food option is fine dining only at the hotel in the evening, not everyone's cup of tea or budget when travelling for business

Room 6 - ensuite shower (no bath), Nespresso coffee machine and tea making. I asked for fresh milk and it was brought immediately. Comfortable extra large bed. The bar is dark and glitzy and it seems locals go there for cocktails. Dinner was expensive, but very good cooking. We both had a lamb dish which was exceptional. Breakfast was served in an orangery on the other side of a charming enclosed courtyard. The full Yorkshire included very good local rare breed bacon, sausage and black pudding. Smashed avocado and poached eggs on sourdough toast was pretty good too. All members of staff were lovely. The building and gardens are very well maintained - somebody really cares. It may be pricey, but it is a well run hotel with high standards.

Nearly perfect. The bedroom lacked a comfortable chair. We didn't get the hang of the air conditioning/heating in spite of being given a lesson. We don't like piped music. That's it. All the rest was pretty good, and we are fussy travellers who expect high standards.
