The Fenwick Hotel

Very nice property,staff lovely,especially the receptionist lovely bubbly lady very curteous and helpful,room lovely,we were nearest by pass heard traffic noise but it didn’t disturb our sleep,beds were so comfy,food was delicious we had dinner and bed and breakfast all cooked to a high standard,descent portion sizes as well

Only thing would say was the outside where people smoke there cigarette ends had built up in the bin thing looked a bit bad at entrance ,as rest of entrance is beautiful till you see that ,maybe if customers who smoke had a small shelter or something to the side of building it would be better

It was a good room, spacious enough. easy to find. great parking. nice bar area with a restaurant. Meals were good. Breakfast was great!! A decent motel with a decent restaurant. Good for a quick stopover

the motorway is right at you, but to be fair, with the windows closed - it was fairly unintrusive. The gardens need some attending - it was not easy to find our way to the garden, but past the rubbish skips etc?

just back from a weekend at the fenwick as part of the bridal party for my friends wedding and we all had a great time. staff where all amazing and went over and above for us all. the food was fantastic. there was a slight mistake with my food on the first night nothing that I wouldn’t have just ate and not said, it was the waiter that noticed as I was eating it and said you didn’t order it like this let me go fix it. the staff are very friendly and happy to join in a good laugh. the rooms are comfortable and over all the wedding went really smoothly, the food in the restaurant was great value for money, large portions and tasted fab. we will defo be visiting again soon.

good car park, nice entrance way, check in was quick and efficient. room was clean and tidy. we were able to have dinner in the restaurant which was good.

location beside the motorway wasn’t great, had to close the windows to try and reduce noise but then room was very warm. (there was a small fan inside the room, but again noise from it 🤷🏻‍♀️) the service in the restaurant was very slow, slow to take our order, slow to bring our drinks, after our starters were finished they seemed to forget about our mains, after sitting waiting for about 25mins a waiter came and asked did we want to see the dessert menu… the only thing that came quickly was when we asked for the bill 😂

Staff were amazing ...truly Rooms were lovely but a little warm but everything else was awesome . Jamie in the restaurant ...thank you for putting up with us ..a big table and nothing was ever too much . Brilliant staff as I said

Everything was great . If there was anything the room was very toasty ...and the noise of the motorway means you wouldn't want the window open . But that is minor ... It just meant other room guest had to witness my strioped off body lying on the bed lol x

Lovely hotel. Superb room. Amazing food. Thoughtful, considerate and extremely helpful staff - can't highlight this enough. After a particularly difficult and traumatic week, our last minute booking was to get away from it all. A hiccup with our booking (not hotels fault - booking.com's fault) was quickly rectified and after hearing about our week, Kelly (General Manager) not only made sure we were ok, but made sure nothing would be too much trouble. She also made sure we had dinner arranged on the hotel, giving us the option of dining in the restaurant or in our room if this would be preferable. Every member of staff was professional, attentive and lovely. Dinner was superb. Good servings and wonderfully tasty. Decent selection of options too. Beds were super comfy Breakfast was a buffet affair, but had plenty choice. Can't fault it.

Receptionist helpful as was the breakfast room staff. Buffet breakfast had a good selection of hot and cold items. The room was comfortable with a heated towel rail in the bathroom. Enjoyed the comfort of using the bar for food and drinks. The location was ideal being close to the A77 and Kilmarnock.

I would have preferred a walk in shower instead of a shower in a bath. For older persons it can be awkward to get into a bath.

Friendly helpful staff, who, managed difficulties outside of their control in a way that had no impact on my comfort and care.

The booking system had crashed on arrival resulting in my advance payment not being recognised and finally be being booked in for one night not two. A leak was discovered in the bathroom after my departure on day one requiring a spare part. As the system only showed me for one night it was unclear what to to with my belongings that day and at breakfast the following morning I was not on the list. I was given my room on arrival without question I was given the option of a room change as soon as I arrived back on day 1 I was served breakfast without a second thought. These little issues were handled professionally and seamlessly really happy.

Modern decor in foyer,restaurant,bar areas,friendly staff,service at breakfast was excellent and food to a good standard. Room was clean and had modern decor. Great car parking

Although happy with our room,there were a couple of things that required a bit of attention. Broken toilet roll holder,sticking wash hand basin plug,couldn’t get the shower to switch off using stop button, had to switch off from power switch in room.These few points are all minor and did not detract from a pleasant stay

Lovely hotel, staff, food, choices were really good. Ate dinner in restaurant which was great. Few cocktails in bar... lovely :) Great French Martini. Breakfast was lovely. Good choices, hot and fresh. Nice comy bed which is always a bonus!!

Room a bit noisy from motorway but slept through. Bathroom needs a bit of attention as cracked bath panel and grout along bath needing redone (room 14) MINOR but would make it nicer :)
