The Torrance Hotel

The breakfast was amazing and the staff were excellent. The Duty Manager was top class and made us feel very special with his personal touch. His name is BILL HULME and he deserves a pat on the back from his boss. Because of his service and the rest of the friendly staff we will be back to this hotel and recommend it to our friends and relatives

THE SHOWER TAPS WERE VERY COMPLICATED TO ADJUST. THE PHONE DID NOT WORK MY WIFE THOUGHT THE BED WAS HARD THE SOAP DISPENSER IN THE TOILET WOULD NOT DISPENSE

We had the cooked full Scottish breakfast which was both ample and very nice and freshly cooked. The room was lovely and also very clean. The staff were lovely and very professional from start to finish, they did their best to make our stay comfortable.

The room was duller than we would have liked and only one electric socket. The continental breakfast was limited and the tea and coffee was from a shared pot which went cold very quickly.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked through in the door until we walked back out the door. The service was great and the waiting times from ordering food and drinks was very quick the staff were very friendly and polite always checking to see if everything was OK and to see if we needed anything else. I would recommend your hotel to anyone who is looking for a hotel break and yes I would return to the hotel for another stay

The only thing that was wrong was in the description and pictures used for the room wasn't the same as the actual room that we received from the description and pictures the spa bath was not as pictured but was in the bathroom and there wasn't much room to move round it to check the temperature of the water. But don't get me wrong we found away to get down to the tap side to put the plug in and check the temperature of the water. But we still used the spa bath and we did enjoy the use of it.and we had a great stay with you and yes I would recommend you for any one looking for a hotel break

Couldn’t fault anything! Staff were amazing with anything we needed at anytime whether it be midday or late at night, suggested places for myself and family to go for days out and we’re just overall so accommodating and made us feel so welcome!Food for breakfast and dinner was beautiful and the evening meal was priced so well for the amount and quality!

Really nice place. Well thought out facilities. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. The staff were exceptional. They were warm, friendly and genuinely happy to serve. A big shout out must go to the cleaning team- you do a great job.

This place is stunning. We visited from England for a family wedding. We're not rich, nor poor. We do, however, appreciate value for money. Especially during our recent experiences with Covid. Money is tight and we understand the need to try and recover the loss of income this devastating virus has taken from us all. We did not expect to have our wallets literally hammered by ridiculously overpriced drinks. It literally cost me double the amount to have a pint there. I stopped drinking earlier than normal out of principle. No pint of beer is ever worth anything north of 6 quid. We honestly loved the place but would not return as we simply couldn't afford to enjoy ourselves without remortgaging.

location is ideal for the Village and East Kilbride shopping centre is just a comfortable 10 minute walk, the Food and service was ideal. the size of the room was pleasing , a comfortable bed and decent bathroom /shower. Genuinely friendly staff who all seem to enjoy working here. The hotel is popular for holding weddings and funeral wakes, and seems to be busy everyday, but you are still made to feel welcome and we didnt have any problems with noise etc. we will be staying here again

my wife and i were genuinely happy with our stay here, and there wasn't anything we were unhappy about.

Hotel was modern and very clean. Our room was lovely and spacious. The restaurant food was delicious and a really good choice of menu!

At breakfast, a waiter seemed like he was the only one working, he came across stressed and could of done with some help. We didn’t bother asking for toast as 3 other couples had asked him and he seemed very rushed off his feet! I think it was a bit unfair he was the only one at breakfast with lots of guests!

I only booked my Tenant in for 2 nights as his flat was been rewired I had to then book an extra 2 nights as work not completed as this was an assisted room you could not accommodate him any further nights he moved to the Holiday Inn. I would appreciate email receipt's with dates for 4nights spend with.you for Tax Records. Thank you for help with Assisted Accomodation as this help my tenent and myself. Diana Ramsay.

Hotel staff were friendly and welcoming, efficient and helpful. From reception to bar to room service, all staff we encountered were lovely. Food from the restaurant was very nice and the prices reasonable. Hotel was spotless

I didn't dislike anything but didn't sleep well as the room was so warm without the heaters being on. The option of a fan in the room would be a great addition

Stayed here one night as a couple needing a place to stay for a party at a nearby venue, staff were very friendly, bed was comfy

Although room was lovely there was not enough natural or electric lighting which made it a struggle doing makeup. One cobweb very prominent under the lighting near wardrobe
