Locally sourced eggs , sausages bacon etc,. Waitress service, freshly cooked food, white table cloths - .. No traffic noise Spacious rooms Separate bath and shower Small kitchen area with fridge with fresh milk and cold bottled water Adequate parking next to rooms

OK for us because we live on a farm and are early risers. be aware that the terrace outside the rooms adjoins a sheep field with guinea fowl - i,e 10ft away - so expect some early morning animal noises. Note there are a lot of tourists in the area and you may need to book for food ,,and some including this farm do not offer food every night.

The room was beautifully designed and spacious The bathroom was large with a big space to shower in The amenities (bathroom stuff, biscuits, fresh milk, chilled bottles of water, lots of local information) There's a backdoor that leads to a shared patio area with your own table and chairs I had the windows and door open the entire time I was in the room and didn't get a single bug bite - impressive on a farm! My room was right next to the guinea fowl hutch, and they were quiet and lovely to watch, along with all the rabbits and other birds in the large field behind the room The bed was big and comfortable Breakfast was tasty Everything looked clean

The room felt like an oven when I went in. Can't blame them for the heat, but maybe a fan or air con would help. I understand it's not the most environmentally friendly, but even just opening the windows before arrival so it doesn't feel stuffy at first would be great. The outside patio was unusable because of the heat, so an umbrella or some kind of shade would have been perfect. Something thinner than a duvet to cover yourself with in the summer would have been better, I just slept on top of the blanket but ended up cold in the night These are minor things that would improve the stay, but not deal breakers that would put me off returning!

Owners so friendly and helpful, obviously enjoyed what they did. An amazing eye for detail and everything really well thought through. Lovely glasses in room, good quality drinks and a lovely little container of milk for drinks. Little touches like binoculars and wild life info in rooms and dressing gowns. The room was beautiful decor and well appointed, and loved the patio and outlook. The amazing food, it’s what attracted me to this location, the best breakfast ever, good choices and fabulous quality produce. For us the bistro for an evening meal was a bonus, and once again, amazing food and a warm welcome.

We've stayed here on a number of occasions now because we always have such a fabulous time. Brickfields is set in a peaceful location just on the edge of Kirkbymoorside. One of the joys is watching the wildlife from the seating area at the rear of the rooms: swallows, rabbits, sheep and the amusing resident guinea fowl. On this visit we stayed in Brambles, which was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished, with large a comfortable bed and a sofa for relaxing on. The shower room has a lovely powerful walk-in shower and you're provided with a good selection of quality toiletries. We were served a delicious Full English breakfast (vegetarian version for me!) in our room due to Covid restrictions. This was a real treat! And we ordered meals on both evenings from the Room Service menu, all of which were exceptionally good. Karen and Ian are excellent hosts and really do go that extra mile to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. Can't wait to return!

Absolutely nothing at all to dislike!

Idyllic spot to spend some quiet time. Welcoming and friendly people looking after the guests. My room was light and spacious with an excellent wet room shower. Each day I looked forward to sitting out on my terrace and watching the sunset while the sheep grazed in the field and the rabbits and guinea fowl mingled amongst them. Breakfast was excellent, as was the food and drink the one evening I dined at the restaurant. Truth be told I enjoyed walking across the field to Kirkbymoorside, buying some simple provisions from the Co-op and then sitting outside and snacking with the sunset. Having the restaurant option was of course helpful, though when I was staying it was closed Monday and Tuesday. Lots of local walking to be had and there are plenty of towns within half an hour or less drive. York's Park & Ride and Scarborough are less than an hour away. Easy access to the Moors National Park.

I know it's not self catering but my room had a bit of a kitchen setup (no cooking facilities) with a sink, fridge and kettle. All the cupboards were empty. A plate or 2 and a bit of cutlery would have aided my evening sunset endeavours.

Great room with plenty of space. Great facilities. Tea/coffee on arrival with fresh milk and bottled water, all replenished daily. Towels and dressing robes provided, saves space in packing. Comfortable bed. Pleased to see a fire stick in TV. Excellent shower, very powerful and nicely heated (not too hot not too cold). Excellent breakfast with lots of options, all fresh.

The only downside of the firestick is that everything was password protected, but there was no password provided. I know I could of asked for password, but this was just a minor inconvenience and is just me nit picking.

We had a superb stay with the friendly staff, an excellent room and fantastic breakfasts. Loved the walk in shower and thought that the balance of facilities was good - sadly the weather and timing meant we missed the opportunity to sit on the patio area and enjoy a drink watching the lambs running around but there is always a next time!

Nothing about the stay - we did not try the restaraunt as we had uncertain plans but the fact that it is fully booked regularly shows that the food must be as good as the breakfasts!

We had an amazing time at Brickfields Farm which is situated in a quiet, picturesque setting which isn't too far away from places to visit. All the staff were friendly, the room was exceptionally comfortable and clean. Breakfast was excellent, we also had an evening meal which was delicious. The only thing I can fault is that we had to leave!!

Everything. The place is absolutely beautiful. Could not recommend it more. We stayed in the Daisy room. The rooms are HUGE! The beds are so comfortable! The bathroom had a walk in shower/wet room which was also huge and beautifully decorated. Its so peaceful and you open your double doors to loads of sheep 🐑 which was amazing!! Also the breakfast is absolutely fantastic. Spot on. Could not be happier with our stay and the staff was so lovely. They have done a brilliant job. Well done ! 👏 And really hope to be back 🙏 (All I would say is if you want to eat at their restaurant, book in advance ! It's so popular with the locals, we left it to the day and it was too late 😔)

Nothing. It was literally perfect 👌
