The room was bigger than I expected which was nice. The location of the hotel couldn't have been more perfectly placed if it had tried given that I wanted to frequent the local Pride event which was literally just round the corner from the hotel along with all of the local LGBTQ+ venues. The hotel is only a very short walk away from the train station, and if driving has access to a multi-storey carpark even closer. Lot of access to multiple places to eat, as well as nearby to the Trinity shopping centre. The hotel now also houses a Gino restaurant which offers discount to hotel guests, definitely worth a try, the food was divine. (Pictures of the meal I had from Gino's are attached to this review)

There was a slight issue with my hotel room showers drainage, as it seemed to be very slow draining the water away to the point that I had to stop halfway through my shower to let some water drain before continuing in fear that it would overflow from the shower base. Not a huge issue for me though, just a minor inconvenience.

Travelled to Leeds on the train, just a couple of minutes walk from the station, or there is reduced rate parking available near to the hotel. The hotel is situated just across the road from the Trinity shopping centre, with good access to restaurants and bars. We shared a room suitable for four adults, the room was clean, modern, spacious and comfortable, also had a good sized bathroom. The staff on reception were friendly and helpful at check in, we was able to check in early as our room was ready even though we were just hoping to leave bags at the hotel until 3pm. Slept well, some noise could be heard outside of the hotel in the early hours however this was to be expected due to its location and proximity to bars (hence our booking) but this would not put me off returning. The hotel looked very nice and modern in the communal areas. I also made use of the fitness facilities during my stay, an excellent hotel gym with cardio equipment including treadmills, crosstrainers, and rowing machine. There was also a good range of weight machines and weights (dumbbells and kettle bells). I was able to carry out my usual workout at the facilities. I would definitely return to this hotel in the future

no faults that I can think of!

I always find the Marriott beds so comfortable and these did not disappoint. they were so comfortable and we both slept well. The room was clean, plenty of biscuits and tea making facilities. The staff were so friendly, attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Very good. The breakfast was nice, loads of choice and some nice gluten free items too. my only negative about breakfast was the food in the fridge was dried out ie smoked salmon, cheese, meats.

Where’s the swimming pool? I always loved going for a swim when we visited the Marriott, I was so disappointed that it had been decommissioned. Such a shame.

The location of the hotel is situatated in the centre of Leeds, tucked away within a private courtyard area. The area itself is surrounded by many fantastic shops and places to eat. Close by there is a 24hour shop to get any necessities whilst there. The hotel itself was amazing. Comfortable seating at the front door to relax after a flight. Reception staff were very friendly and accomodating. Toilet facilites are extremely clean and well maintained. The interior decor was a mix of classic victorian / georgian styling, with soft modern upholstery. The restaurant Gino d'Acampo recently opened the week I was staying, which I can only give positives reviews about. The food was excellent. The tables were set well and clean, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. A bonus is having themes for it's food. "Spring / Summer" is the current theme. The room I was staying in was located on the first floor. At first I thought the sound of traffic would be a disturbance, however I was pleasantly surprised that that wasn't the case. The beds were very comfortable with clean sheets and soft pillows, and complete blackout curtains to block all light from the outside. The bathroom was extremely clean, with amenities such as Soap, Shampoo, Conditioner, and a Shower Cap. Overall, this was the perfect hotel for the short stay I had in Leeds. Highly recommended!

No stairs to the rooms. Although I can understand locking the rooms behind an elevator which requires a room key, having to wait for elevators in the morning at breakfast, or travelling up and down through floors was quite troublesome. Stairs to reception would be nice!

Brilliantly situated, beautiful building and great restaurant on site. The room was clean and in great shape, bed was comfy and the air con worked a treat. I mentioned that it was my partners 30th Birthday and some lovely confetti was laid out on the bed along with balloons a sweet treat and card on the table.

Only thing I would mention is that it isn’t made clear which parking to use at time of booking. One car park gives a discount for Marriott Customers which we weren’t aware of so ended up paying a lot more at another car park.

It's a nice hotel, great location, pleasant stay overall. The staff were great and helpful.

It was quite pricy for what it currently offers. The bar/restaurant were closed for renovation. I didnt need it myself, but I heard other guests complaining about it and being surprised upon arrival everytime I went down. This should be better communicated upon booking. The room was on the colder side and didn't get much warmer after I switched on the AC heating. Apart from that, the room was not perfectly clean. Both cups had some dust in them. The package of free cookies was not sealed, like someone already opened it.

Lovely large room with giant bed. Very comfortable and fantastic location in the centre of the city. Staff were very nice and helpful. Bonus that you get a discount for parking at the nearby carpark.

Flush on the toilet was difficult to use due to placement on the wall and quite stiff. Lift system was confusing and took a while to get back to the lobby due to everyone being confused on how to use it with the fob system.

Location is literally across the street from Trinity shopping mall. Easy to walk to shops, restaurants, and bars. Plus we were there for the Leeds Festival and the shuttle bus stop was close as well. Not too far from train station either. Very centrally located. Extra security with the need to use your room card in order to use the elevator. Breakfast buffet was delicious with lots of choices.

Didn't have any issues with the hotel. Leeds is a noisy city so there is music that is heard into the night, so that might bother some soft sleepers, but it didn't bother me.

Our stay at Leeds Marriott was very pleasant and we had great time there, that because of the hotel location which was in quite area although it was in the center. The hotel was best choice as it was close to everything we may need during our visit. I really appreciate the professional work of reception staff who helped for an easy check in/out and to provide assistance when ever we asked them. Also we would like to appreciate the very friendly staff of the restaurant and their great work made us feel comfortable while having our meals.

The only thing that me and my wife didn’t like was the towels in bathroom, they’re old and smells, we hope that they will be replaced soon with new good quality ones.
