The Chambers

I really loved the interior design of the room and the available facilities, with a washing machine, iron board, clothes rack, fan and cupboard. Really good range of cooking facilities as well, pots, pans, cloths, washing liquid, cutlery and dishwasher with free tablets. I really love how there was complementary food that came with the room and that The Chambers provided free fresh eggs and bread! Staff were wonderful and very helpful. Had an honesty bar where you could get bits and bobs for the room and pay for it when you leave. The room was spotless and really clean. The shower is really spacious and heats up fast. There is a smart TV, which you can log in and watch what you want. The bed provided was really comfy, felt like I was on a cloud . Overall really amazing experience and customer service wise. Will definitely be back again!

The stove on the kitchen bench was bit far to reach for my 5ft 2 self, so it was awkward when I was cooking. Also the washer/dryer was low quality as it took us 5 rounds on the highest setting for our clothes to dry.

Great location near the downtown of Leeds, very clean apartment with laundry that was super helpful. Amazing view and nice to have a place we could make breakfast and have snacks.

Staff were really friendly and helpful.

It was far too warm and everyone was saying how hot it was but that was only minor. Everything else was perfect.

How spectacular it was when we arrived. Wasn’t expecting how luxurious it was going to be. We like to say how outstanding the staff were. We both deaf and was suppose to be situated on the 2nd floor but staff were concerned that we wouldn’t be able to hear the fire alarm so they upgraded us to another room which was on the ground floor. The rooms itself are to die for they are beautiful and very comfortable.

The only thing I can say is that the tv (Sony) didn’t work but the night staff did his best to try and get it to work. Unfortunately he wasn’t able to.

The "breakfast basket" of sliced white bread and a tin of beans didn't really hit the mark. Wasn't sure if it was meant to be a joke? Could do better!

we were quite late in getting to the property, but the attendant met us in the car park and explained some difficulty with the pre-booked parking. He offered to take the keys of rate car and move it should anyone need out (we were parked in the way due to a shortage of spaces). the main thing being we could get on with our night and the attendant was super helpful. The room was finished to a really nice quality and had the essentials for you to get settled - tea, coffee, water and the like. the honesty bar at reception helped with that personal touch of giving you flexibility but not being focused on charing you at every corner. Location was fantastic with a few mins walk to the main shopping

On arrival was met by a friendly member of the team which booked us in promptly. We went to our room and was more than impressed at the quality of the room, the size, comfort and cleanliness everything was catered for. The addition of complimentary eggs and bread (there were also beans,cereal and milk to complete a breakfast) if required was a real bonus. Only small disappointment was that I-had e mailed in response to a question raised by The Chambers to say that we were visiting to celebrate my husbands 75th birthday I wasn’t looking for anything special for this just an acknowledgment as I had taken him as a surprise and wanted him to feel special, but on arrival we were greeted pleasantly but with what’s the purpose of your visit, overall this didn’t distract from a lovely stay and we will definitely be back.

Close to all the main attractions. Nice touch on arrival as allowed in early to our room and lots of freebies in the kitchen. Parking was secure. Reception staff very helpful.

The whole of Leeds is impossible to drive through with roadworks and one-way routes. The sat nav kept taking us to one way streets or bus and taxi roads only, so finding the Chambers parking took ages. They need to make it clear what route you take to the hotel parking. Also, the parking should be incorporated into the price for the apartment. The facilities were great, but operating the oven and dishwasher was not clear, and reception needed to help, and this was because the isolator switch was actually part of and the same as all the light switches.

Everything about The Chambers is memorable. The communication between Kennedy and myself, the pre visit look at apartments by Sophie, the welcome pack including the nicest biscuits ever homemade by Christine. The courteousness of all staff from housekeeping, night staff and all customer relations staff on reception. The apartment 407 was beautiful. It was like a up market home from home. The price paid was a fraction of the best hotel rooms with far more space, style, chic and contemporary decor, with those little touches like welcome pack, molten brown (who I adore) toiletries. We were blessed with bath and shower so we could both get ready together for my birthday night out. My 58th was memorable because of this accommodation. Loved that you could adjust the temperature, the fact tea coffee sugar milk was provided, as we're preserves beans and other items like bread and eggs were available from the honesty bar, situated in reception near the pretty outdoor courtyard. The bed was the Only bed ever both my husband and I slept for a full 8 hours in. The TV had Netflix, there is free WiFi, the bistro table and chairs accessed via lounge and bedroom on our little balcony was brilliant for ventilation and a place for those who vape/smoke to access without having to exit the building first. Kicking off my heels upon our return from a local Thai restaurant,  curled up on sofa doors open watching net flix whilst enjoying a glass of vino in the beautiful tableware left provided. The tiny touches like the wardrobe lighting up as you reached in, TV in the bedroom which whilst we didn't use was a extra bonus. Shower cap provided again small touches but important ones. I have already recommended this place to several people and will continue to do so. Will definately be the 1st place I'd look to return to on my next visit to Leeds.
