This hotel is a great location, stayed here many times, great if your visiting the Arena, not far to walk from the train station. Shops all close by. Lots of food and drink options. And you get discount on drinks in Wrens bar when your staying at the hotel. Helpful friendly staff.

All satisfactory

Fast and easy check in. Simon was friendly and helpful. Discount at the bar for guests. Plenty of room for 5 of us in the apartment. Near to nightlife and city centre. We contacted ahead and Simon made sure we had a hairdryer and enough cutlery and pots for our group. Plenty of tea towels, hand wash and toilet rolls provided.

Please be aware that it is very noisy at night due to the nearby nightlife. This goes on until the morning, so not somewhere to stay if you want a good night's sleep. The hotel does warn about this , so believe it! The shower is very hot and difficult to turn down. No bath mat either so the floor does get wet. One towel per person provided so you need to bring a hand towel or use a tea towel. No tin opener- there is now as I bought one. Simon did offer to refund the cost of this. Dining table wobbly so take care. You must lock the door behind you - it doesn't self lock and people can walk in off the street, or if confused about which room they're staying in.

I liked the room very spacious and easy to find from the First Direct Arena. The pub downstairs had a wide range of drinks.

As I went in May and England got some great weather not complaining about that but this meant I needed to leave the window open which resulted in (Yes they provide a fan but this just blows hot air around the room slightly uncomfortable) noise outside from the nightclubs lasted till 4 am. So if you don't mind some noise till the early hours so should be fine.

Right in the centre surrounded by eateries and bars. Booked here as I was going to the Theatre about 700 yards away. Friendly staff. Details clear and precise. Offered help up the stairs with my bag. Corner room was huge and spotless. Two big bay windows for watching the streets below. Leaving was easy. Just drop keys in a box on the landing and leave the premises. Tea making facilities. Ear plugs provided if the noise from outside was too much. I knew where it was when I booked so I didn’t have any issues with the noise until the early hours.

Great location, 5 minutes walk from Arena. The room was spacious & clean. Check in & out were simple & although we had limited interaction with staff, they were very friendly. For a budget hotel in centre of Leeds it met all my expectation.

Minor points as had no real bearing on our stay...the radiator wouldn't turn off, could be on my part, but the usual things you'd do to turn off wouldn't work. Other than that, all I can say is that it's so central & bustling in the area that it's a quite noisy (but they do provide ear buds which is a nice touch)

The Wren's was a great place to stay in Leeds. It was a traditional inn that doesn't claim to be a Courtyard by Marriott but has all the essentials with a charm modern hotels cannot duplicate. The room was fine and they provided a fan which was greatly appreciated the night before the hottest day in British history. It had everything I needed including a small pub downstairs.

The only disappointment was that the pub closed early the night I stayed there. It may have been because of the record heat wave that England was experiencing. But still a bit disappointing.

The location was spot on- everything was within walking distance. The room was a good size as well as the bathroom and it was clean. We had plans so didn't get to have a drink in the bar, which was a shame because it seemed canny and played good music (what we heard checking in and going out). If I stay in Leeds I would stay here again (if it's available) 👍

As expected being in city centre it was fairly noisy, could do with double or triple glazing- it was more people hanging around because music seemed to quieten down about the usual times of 2 ish. The only issue we had with the bed was the that the mattress seemed to sink down into the frame when lying so if you turned on the edge or when getting into and out, you hit the frame side which was uncomfortable (the mattress itself was fine)

The staff were great, very accommodating. We were very fortunate that we could check in early as our train was earlier than expected. The location was perfect for what we needed. The room was very spacious and clean, with good tea/coffee making facilities. Perfect location for the First Direct Centre. We also used one of their recommendations for our breakfast, which was a fantastic little place just down the road.

Unfortunately the shower in our room was quick to fill up and didn’t drain well. We also managed to get more water on the floor than in the shower tray as the shower curtain didn’t quite cover the opening.

checked in by Lauren in the main bar downstairs and she was both informative and professional. asked us what kind of night in Leeds we’d enjoy and then advised us of local places of interest (bars restaurants etc that would suit our needs). the location was great and walking distance to many great establishments. I was in room one that’s above main bar and looks into the street that contains many late night bars and was a little concerned about late night noise but had a great nights sleep and wasn’t disturbed once. all I n all a great room in a great place at a good price……. I’m already looking forward to my next visit as I’m sure I’ll be back whenever visiting the area

No complaints at all.

The location can't be beat if you are looking for a night out in Leeds - but definitely can be noisy and might not be the best choice for a quiet weekend. It was a spacious, clean suite of rooms, very suitable for me and four friends. Single beds were also appreciated as not all of us were part of a couple.

Again, it was noisy, as the venue is located at the heart of a bustling area of Leeds. This worked for us as we were going on a night out, but it might not suit everyone. The venue does offer complimentary ear plugs. Multiple bathrooms, but only one shower - it can feel crowded if all the beds are used.
