I didn't expect the hotel to be in a services area but it didn't affect anything. Room was nice, clean and quiet. Nice bar and small restaurant for breakfast. Cute and clean little gym. Lovely cooked breakfast. Dog friendly :)

No shower gel (due to be provided) nor conditionner (would be nice) in our room. Yes could have asked for shower gel but a bit tricky when you are already in the shower... The room adjacent to the services cafe is noisy at cleaning and opening time as tables and chairs are dragged accross the floor... There was only one member of staff at breakfast and she struggled to refill breakfast bar, clean tables, cook, and respond to custumer demands... felt rather sorry for her... For the price, i would have expected some continental options too... sliced brioche or croissants?

Lovely location plenty of walks round the nature trail , play park for children. You wouldn't think you were at a motorway service It was very well done! Food outlets external from hotel were ... Nandos Pizza Express Costa KFC Chinese Tortilla Burger King Noodle Bar Etc A Spa Shop on site which was reasonable. The hotel was on 2 floors having a dog we stayed on floor 2. Dog friendly,and people are able to eat in a part of the bar indoors with a well-behaved dog. Food price was reasonable £21 for 2 mains however beer around £3 half a pint if your so inclined. The room was too hot on arriving and with no windows not pleasant however after chatting to reception re borrowing a fan which they don't have, however what they do have is control of the room temperature and cooled the room right down for me which was great. Comfy rooms nice shower and plenty of towels and large wall mounted TV ,no fridge however you could take food court meals back to your room to eat. The food court was not for dogs however one of us went in and bought the food it worked for us. Large free car park plenty of space Would visit again.

Good location just off the M1 for access to Leeds, York and the Northeast. Modern hotel with basic facilitieslocated in a motorway service area with landscaped grounds and accessible wallks around around nature reserve and lakes behind the hotel. Room was quiet despite proximity to motorway, Clean and comfortable with tea and coffee making in room. Room service and breakfast if required. Helpful and friendly staff, A selection places to eat next door in service area. Free parking. Excellent value for money. Pet friendly. Useful, dimmable night light on desk.

Small bathroom and very little soap in dispensers. Walk-in shower only and water ends up on floor of shower room. Signs to reception, lifts and stairs from first floor need to be relocated/made more obvious to visitors. Limited opening hours in adjacent service area.

The hotel was good and the reception staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. The only failing we experienced was that the housekeeping was quite poorly organised. On three occasions we experienced a failure to refresh the room, (i.e. make the bed, replace towels and tea/coffee making facilities etc. . On each occasion, after we reported the problem, the reception staff came up to the room and did the necessary work, but couldn't explain why the failures had occurred.

Staff were 1st class, couldn't do enough for you, so welcoming, friendly, and valued you being there. Need a pay rise or Bonus. Breakfast great choice Cleanliness Comfortable bed Large TV Spacious room.

Shower heat adjustment knob dangerous..can't regulate. Mattress protector was stained but was changed straight away, new out the bag within 5 mins.. Lacked 2 lifts as long walk to room because main lift was at one end of 160 room corridor..😩 Also there's a fire alarm point nr entrance, someone set it off at 9pm just as we were settling down to get an early night as we had funeral next morning...went on for 20 mins..but staff eventually sorted..so not moaning.

Everything, staff were so helpful....we had to ring at 11pm for air con as we were in a family room and everyone was very hot and they did it remotely as to not disturb us. Location was great, many facilities on site for just off the motorway but it was so peaceful and out kids really enjoyed the play park and country setting out the back! Breakfast was beautiful, we had to be there as soon as it opened at 7am for a karate competition and the kids were well fed and we all loved it ! Definitely recommend and be back again when in the area xxx

Given that this hotel is located at Skelton serices, it is way better than you might imagine. It's a modern building, very quiet and, as you might expect, pleanty of parking. The breakfast is basic but sets you up for the day and it's really easy to get to the centre of Leeds or on to the M1 from here. You're only a short drive from the park and ride so you don't even need to battle wiht the traffic in the centre of town if you don't fancy it.

Shower was a bit underwhelming but it works well enoughj.

Great staff, great prices. Very good, clean rooms. Very good WiFi. A lot of choices for food in the services, and easy to get to other places. Lovely walks from the hotel too. Great Location.

As it was the weekend there were large groups of young men staying in rooms all around us. They were noisy at times, including in the early hours of the morning. This was only in the corridors as the soundproofing between the rooms is very good. We just wore earplugs so we couldn't hear them. Last time we stayed on weekdays, and there was no noise. Next time we will stay on weekdays again.

The beds were super comfortable ( large and soft). The room was spacious, modern and had everything we needed. The location is perfect for those with a car, it is on a highway but very quiet and has lots of restaurants connected to the hotel. The hotel serves very good breakfast and dinner combo. Staff was were friendly and helpful.

The water was too hot in the showers, it was set to 38 but was hotter than that and since the tap is fixed you can only make it hotter. Other than that it was super great.

very clean and bear temple Needham for the festival. Breakfast was excellent.

Not enough staff. One person to run the check in, the bar and in the morning breakfast too. it was ridiculous and left big queues. I felt sorry for that one member of staff. Bathroom shower didn’t work properly there was no cold water as the tsp wouldn’t work and no extractor fan so all steamed up. the cups to have for hot drinks was that cheap the handle snapped when we picked it up and cut my partner finger.
