We liked the Christmas buffet a lot, also the breakfast was decent. Friendly staff as well.

Old building reinnovated. Air conditioning was weird we couldnt figured out. First day the electricity went out but the guy in the reception helped us and fixed it asap. Last day we checked out at 11:00 but our flight was at 21:00 so we wanted a last walk in the city. We left our buggages in the hotel and is the first time in any hotel we have been that they charged us for leaving our stuff. Furthermore they accepted only cash. Like comon. 7 days in London the only time i had to withdraw cash to pay was in the hotel! Not suggested!

The location was good, the staff were extremely helpful and accomodating and breakfast was excellent.

The bed was well past its use by date, not comfortable at all

This was my second stay this year, primarily because of it's location. Room & bathroom very clean and generally a quiet room, which I had requested. I did wake up at 2.00 am because there was a dog barking in the street and someone shouting...odd at that hour in the night. The room does face out overlooking the busy street, but it is mostly quiet. Bed very comfortable. I especially liked the clean, fresh white bed linens.

I had to wait quite a long time to check in, only one person at the desk. And when I did, that lady was not pleasant at all. It was almost as if I was an inconvenience. Not a pleasant welcome, in fact no 'Welcome' at all. This is quite an expensive hotel and while there are some advantages to it's location, I do think the room I had for this second stay, was quite small.

The receptionists are rude, they need to improve their customer service skills especially Monica and the other lady. Layla was nice to us. If you arrive before the check-in time which is suppose to be at 3pm (if at 2:45pm), and ask them politely if there is any room ready, they say in a rude way and yell at you that you need to come back at 3pm!! That's not how you should treat your guests. All hotels do their best treating their guests in a respective and nice way. The staff should always remember that guests are the #1 priority and the center of the focus

Modern , lovely bar area and outside lounge area . The room was cleaned each day with fresh towels . Unfortunately the fridge was not working when we arrived but this was sorted promptly .

The main issue I have with our stay was at the end of our 3 days we checked out an hour earlier as we didn’t see the point in sitting in our room waiting for our departure pick up and also thought it would give the cleaners chance to get in earlier and decided to have a stroll round Hyde Park . We asked if we could leave our luggage in the hotel only to be told that there would be a charge of £1 per bag . We were quite shocked by this, it wasn’t the amount they charged us it was the fact that we had spent over £600 to stay in the hotel and had also spent around £200 in the restaurant and drinks . We really felt this was an unnecessary charge and just gave us a bad feeling about what had been a lovely few days

Lovely property. Staff were fab and couldn’t do enough for you. Asked for a fan, they found one. Asked for more pillows they were there straight away. Went to put some rubbish out and someone who worked there took it off me so I didn’t have to go downstairs. Can’t rate the staff enough.

Finish in the bathroom needed touching up but nothing that actually affected anything. Hairdryer wasn’t working properly. Power of shower not great, could have been down to us not working it properly.

Good location for us and what we had planned. ie. RA, V&A, Design centre our check on 13th late morning/12.00 is was brilliant and we had our room so that was so helpful

Small grip but paying to leave our luggage for a few hours. We have literally travelled the world and NEVER been expected to pay for leaving luggage for a few hours. We always tip but not this time!! The fridge and safe didn't work we didn't bother to report as didn't need to use but could have been inconvenient. We asked the lady on Reception late afternoon13th about the arrangements for the dinner as our booking said we could dine for £34.95 and also there was a card for the 12% discount in our room. We were snappily told just order what you want and she returned to her compute screen so we went elsewhere. I'm not in the business of asking for clarification and being snapped at!!!

The location was excellent & the hotel was beautiful inside & out. Christmas decorations outside & inside made the hotel look even better. I liked the outside terrace where we could sit & have a drink. Looks even better than the photos.

Felt the lighting could be brighter in parts of the bedroom. Probably by the mirror for make up ease. But goof enough in the rest of the room.

nicer than expected for London, quiet area, big room, big beds, pullout couch bed comfortable, good quality and fragrance of the shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom, bottled water provided to room daily, you could eat breakfast outside on the terrace if the weather permits

as mentioned in other reviews, staff enters rooms daily even when the do-not-clean red light is on.

The hotel is great and in a lovely leafy suburban area. Close to several tube stations and very central to nearby restaurants and shops. Hyde Park is only a block away. Our room on the first night was not to our satisfaction, but staff rectified the matter the next day to our satisfaction.

The lighting in the bathroom is a bit dim. And the food at the buffet breakfast is not hot. Check out was fine but there was miscommunication regarding the taxi I ordered and so I had to order an Uber at the last minute. All minor details that did not dampen our stay.
