just an all round lovely place.

The bath room in room 6 was fair to small! was so scared of opening the glass shower door, just in case it would smash on the sink! i know its a pain but the room is big enough to extend the bathroom so this own happen.

Our room was on the lower level and quiet, it was quite large and spacious with ample wardrobe space and a small well fitted kitchenette. The bed was a Queen size and comfortable, also there is a lift which makes access to rooms very easy when you have 2 large suitcases and 1 smaller carry-on case and 2 backpacks and are feeling very tired. The bathroom was a good size although the shower recess was compact with a tiled curved ceiling which made the space feel claustrophobic. There was no bench space to place any toiletries on. The hotel is in an excellent location, a 5 minute walk to Paddington Station for the Tube into London and also a direct train to Heathrow Airport. Also it was a 5 minute walk to the High Street for shopping and dining and another 5 minute walk along the High Street to Bayswater Road for the beautiful Kensington Gardens and Palace, and buses into London.

The bathroom was a good size but was let down by the lack of a bench to place our toiletries on and also by the compact shower recess which had a tiled sloping ceiling making it feel claustrophobic. There were 2 dining chairs in the room at the 2 separate desks, it would have been nice to have at least 1 comfortable lounge chair to sit in rather than sitting on the bed as the desk chairs weren't comfortable to relax and watch TV or read a book.

The room was cozy and comfortable, clean and well equipped. The very idea of the small kitchen, gave us the possibility to feel at home and have that morning coffee that's so important when you wake up. The street below is very silent and the location is refined and close to Queensway where there are lots of shops and restaurants. Two the underground stations short at hand: Queensway and Bayswater. From the first you can take the Red line (Central) and from Bayswater both the Yellow (Circle) and the Green (District). It was my second time since last February. Everything was excellent. The staff is great and I strongly recommend the Cleveland hotel.

Room was spacious and clean. Area and position was excellent.

The price. I paid £203 for a 1 night stay. It was not a £200 per night room. Prices were obviously inflated because of the Royal funeral. This room was a £90 a night room.

Great location. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. Loved the wine/ refrigerator area with the mirror and glasses and was hidden when not in use. Comfy beds, good sized room and bathroom.

Every night we could a baby crying in another room across the courtyard?, so better soundproofed windows needed.

excellent location near to Hyde park and tube and restaurants. Well equipped kitchen which is really handy. Not many triple rooms available in hotels so this suited us.

basement room 7 so quite dark and a view of a wall from the window , also couldn’t open the windows. Next time I would ask for a higher floor.

Surprisingly spacious room for Central London, in a wonderful location. Quiet but well connected and very close to Kensington Gardens. Easy access to tube and bus.

Like many homes converted to hotels, the property is a bit of a rabbit warren, especially if using the lift. It is actually much more straightforward to use the stairs.

Location. I loved how the room was separated with two desks one for my brother to work and the other for me to get ready. I loved the shower door fully closed(a lot of euro hotels have a half glass thingy) and the mini kitchenette was so awesome

Thank God the windows opened up and it was cold at night because the air conditioning really didn't work.

I arrived very early in the morning off my flight and the staff member was very welcoming. I couldn't access my room but my bags were kept and delivered to my room when it was ready. Later in the morning when I returned after a long walk, room still not ready, staff member brought me a tray of coffee which was very much appreciated. The room was large and had great facilities, eg full mini kitchen. Staff also helpful with recommending somewhere to buy SIM card.

I had pre-ordered a SIM to be delivered to the hotel. I asked if it had been delivered each day and was told "no". However, each staff member looked in different places, until the package was finally produced as I checked out - too late. I think it would be a good idea to have just one place to collect incoming mail, packages etc for guests.

We booked this last minute owing to a trip that didn't go as planned, as the base for us to stay overnight before our flight back to Dubai. + The staff was great - good fun, very helpful, very supportive - right from check-in (the one welcoming us, bidding us farewell and the one helping us with our luggages) - they were all the best part of this hotel. + The ceiling to floor windows - helped light up the room well. + The room was spacious enough - compared to other London rooms and other family rooms - we had beds for 2 adults and 3 kids to sleep well, there was a little dining table, there was TV, there was a little kitchenette with just the right equipments needed, there was a decent balcony where you can walk out and sit comfortably with calming views of the park opposite, (albeit low in height so not safe for kids) + The airconditioning worked beautifully - which it sometimes doesn't in other London hotels. + The location isn't super close to Paddington or the tube, but if you can walk, it's fine. It's pretty arterial to most places.

- The fact that there is a short staircase to haul big luggages over at every floor when you get off the elevator. It's a strange design and user experience I haven't seen anywhere else. They should probably build some ramp structure to help those with mobility issues. We got help from the kind gentleman who is the caretaker - else we'd have struggled with my fracture and me being unable to lift heavy weights.
