NOX Kensington Gardens

Fantastic location and comfortable room/bed. Property is safe and secure. Rooms are spacious with more than enough supplies in the room. Kitchenette is fantastic to have.

The lift was out of order on my stay which meant a trip up 5 flights of stairs each time.

Great location, great staff and all new facilities!

Would be good to have a lighter duvet for summer nights. Apart from that it was fantastic!

Room was lovely , nicely decorated. Excellent modern bathroom and powerful shower. Felt very new. Huge TV tho poor Netflix reception! Kitchen area great. Some mire drawers would have been useful for folded items. It's good how close it is to Kensington Park but immediate area a bit rough.

Next door is a hostel & lots of people hanging round outside smoking, drinking & chatting. No issues but they were quite loud so struggled to sleep on Saturday night til early hours as our room had a window at the front. Also a lot of loose rubbish bags out on the pavements from surrounding properties. Someone had knocked over a tin of red paint as well , just left it there so all over pavement! Obviously hotel can't help this but would prefer a different location next time

The property is modern and was very clean on arrival it’s located in a quiet area a few minutes walk to the tube station. We were able to drop our bags off before check in and we were able to leave our bags after check out. The lady on reception was very pleasant. We would consider staying again, Thank you.

The walls were quiet thin, we were woken on a few occasions due to other people in their rooms shutting the cupboards and walking around very early in the morning. The communication with house keeping wasn’t great, they didn’t clean our room on the first day although we left the light on (not a massive issue) We asked reception if this could be done on day 2 as the floor is wood it needed a hoover and we requested more coffee and sugar/sweeteners but they only partly cleaned the floor and we unfortunately didn’t have an coffee or sugar.

It was small and almost perfectly formed. Really clean, well located and very comfortable for a short stay. Air con was brilliant. Huge windows. Fabulous mini kitchen in the cupboard. Everything you needed and more. Loved it and used it. Plenty full length hanging space. No need to crumple long outfits here. I’ll be looking out for NOX accommodation wherever I go.

I had to wait quite a well for someone to attend the front desk. I’m sure they would have turned up immediately if there had been a bell to ring. I did call out but it took some time. The room was perfect in every way apart from lack of charge point for shaver? Really weird as everything else had been thought of.

I was apprehensive about staying at Nox Kensington Gardens because some of the older reviews were terrible. However, I arrived to find a hotel that was newly refurbished, with the refit clearly taking many people's previous concerns into account. Noise issues had been solved with thick double doors. The room was spotlessly clean, and the bed was very comfy. The air con was extremely welcome as it was intensely hot outdoors during our stay. Having kitchen equipment so that we could make food if we wanted was just a brilliant touch. I also stayed at another hotel, the Portobello, during my stay in the neighbourhood. Nox absolutely kicked its arse, despite being three times cheaper. The Portobello stank and I would recommend anyone to stay here instead.

We arrived to find there wasn't any shower gel. We rang reception, who said they would send housekeeping up. Noone came. We ended up having to traipse out to get our own shower gel. The fire alarm went off twice in the middle of the night. I could hear running feet above me in the room. I suspect someone had overtoasted some bread - while kitchen equipment in rooms is really welcome, toasters may not be such a great idea.

I love this place! The room was small but very cleverly designed. As a solo traveller, it was perfect, although my room would have been too small for a couple, unless they were very tidy and got on very well! It was immaculately clean and the bed was very comfortable. The tv was almost as big as the bed, has free Netflix. There’s a Nespresso machine and enough equipment to cook dinner. The lift was unfortunately broken, and I was on the top floor, but they carried my bag up for me. 10 mins later they were back to replace the batteries in the tv remote. The shower is excellent. What more do you need? Excellent value for money.

there was no washing up liquid in the room so once you used the items you couldn’t wash anything no iron no soap only one teabag and one coffee sachet in a room meant for 2 people the room is small and the bed has super sharp corners. both of us scratched and bruised our legs trying to get around the bed
