Central Park Hotel

the hotel is the best location and it’s near the city and tube station .. near to restaurant … it’s very convenient.. near Hyde park as well

i find the staff of the hotel especially the receptionist does not smile n not friendly at all … checkout is too early at 10 am n normally any other hotel checking out is at 12 noon at 9 am the housekeeping lady knock on my door and ask to evacuate the room already I’m so pist off and I have actually an hour still to get ready I’m so unhappy about this and I hope the hotel staff can be a little more professional towards the customer

Location. Pre-arrival checkin. Key cards. Size of room. Clean. Easy to get in and out of hotel. Noticed that anyone can rent an umbrella for £2 for 48 hours. Two large TVs in the bar area. Staff friendly on checkin and check out. Housekeeping said hello in the morning. Fridge in room. The shower was very good.

Gap under the door let the hallway light in. Showed when our room lights were off and trying to sleep. Bracket holding up shower gel is loose and meant that trying to get product out very challenging. Said friendly hello to staff behind the counter in reception, was about 3-5 people, but no one replied. Think they were busy, it was about midnight.

Basic room but it had everything we needed just to put our head down. Comfortable bed, hot shower and it even had a mini fridge. The room was cleaned everyday we were there which I didn't expect. The hotel was only a five minute walk away from the tube station where you could hop on and off at all the well known sites.

Breakfast was a bit pricy so we found an Italian round the corner that did a full English for cheaper and an Italian bakery where we could grap a croissant and a really nice coffee

Great location, close to the park, tube, shops. The team at the front desk is helpful and kind. The manager is great and always prompt to solve anything. Breakfast is good too for a reasonable price.

The bar at the lobby is noisy. the is song too loud like in the club. it is definitely not classy. The “manager” of the bar is rude and doesn’t allow you take cutlery or glasses like all the hotels do. The phone and fridge in my room were broken. i reported couple of times about it but nothing was done. The bath towels are very small and too old but if you ask for better ones, they bring to you.

Excellent breakfast included in the price we paid (normally £15 per person). Choices were great - full English breakfast, continental etc. Location was brilliant - two underground stations within a few minutes walk, access to Kensington Gardens once on Bayswater Road.

After we got back from Wimbledon (the reason we travelled to London) my husband was ready for a drink in the bar. However, it closed at 10.00 pm, just before we got back from the tennis. I was happy with the tea making facilities in the room but my husband felt the bar could have stayed open until 10.30 - 11.00 pm. Also the next day we were charged £5.00 for one small (cabin size) suitcase which we wanted to leave at the hotel before catching the evening train. I know since Covid a number of hotels will not store luggage at all, so although we weren't happy with the charge, we were happy not to have to trail the suitcase around London while sightseeing.

Hotel is really close to the tube, 2-3 minutes walk from Queensway. The hotel is clean and the services are really good. The breakfast is relatively cheap compared to other places and is decent.

It’s easy to see that the hotel is old. The doors of the rooms are wooden and worn down by time, the TVs are also small and old, the walls feel like they’re made out of cardboard, you can hear literally anything going on in the other rooms.

This is my second time in this hotel and I would say that the location is amazing! There is a nearby supermarkets, coffee shops and restaurants, not to mention the hydepark. There is a daily room cleaning and the reception can book you a black cap anytime you need. The staff were really cooperative and friendly; they helped us with the early check-in, the bags and they tried to make our stay as a pleasant as possible, special thanks to Jihad, Abdulshakor, Soro, Madeleine, Atif, Costi, Tajmol, Fatima, Deppiti, and Kuldip.

There was no AC in the room but the staff were helpful to provide 2 fans and the toilet is small.

Convenience - close to public transport. Good value for money.

Wi-fi hardly worked at all during my stay. Continental breakfast rather limited; not everything listed was available by half-way through service.

Great location - literally 2 mins from Hyde park and 3-4 mins to the tube station, helpful staff, breakfast was fine, rooms very clean. Overall a great experience.

The slamming doors and general soundproofing! There must be a low tech simple solution available! Unless you're super careful the doors slam loudly each time someone enters and exits their room, at any time of the day or night. The air conditioning control didn't appear to do anything. Checkout time was 10am, but by 9 someone was already knocking on my door asking when I was leaving.

The room was warm and clean. The staff were friendly. Good location.

The hotel insisted on me producing a Photo ID - as a British citizen, I am not required to carry any ID. If the hotel insists it must be made very clear on the booking site so that I can carry an ID.
