Comfort Inn Hyde Park

Staff were so helpfull, asked for extra pillows and got them straight away. Breakfast was ample but not many tables so some times had to wait . Underground round the corner, choice of two lines so could get anywhere quickly.

we were lucky we had a ground floor room but lots of stairs with no lift working. I understand that the lift hasn,t worked for a long time. They need to sought that out, don,t expect a big company like comfort inn not having a working lift.

Excellent location near Hyde Park and subway stations, and slightly hidden from main road so reasonably quiet. Nice staff, I asked for 2 extra pillows and they gave us for free. They also helped us with the travel itinerary. The room was clean, with basic facilities working.

The room (triple room) was extremely small. You could barely pass near the bed or by other people. Breakfast choice were very limited, and the same every day. Just milk, croissants, butter, gem, bread (but broken toaster), some cheese and some salami. Not even cereals or eggs. After 2 days we preferred to eat breakfast at some nearby restaurants which had some good choices. The window could open only partially and half of hit was slightly broken, it did not close tightly. There was some smell in the hall and stairs. The stairs were very steep and no elevator (but only 3 stories).

The room was smallish, but very comfortable, and exceeded what I had expected in amenity - especially given the location in The Lancasters! The breakfast was advertised as 'continental' but there was provision to make sandwiches - the coffee was also very good. Again, these exceeded expectations. I had arrived early, and my room was free, so I was able to check in - this was very helpful, as I had to change. Similarly, my flight wasn't leaving until the evening, and so I was able to store my bags at the hotel, and even continue using the wifi (within reason) so that I could get some necessary work done. I was also very impressed with the cleanliness of the place.

an elevator would have been useful!

Unfortunately, I was pickpocket in London on the 5th day of our trip. The hotel helped me a lot by generously printed out all my documents needed by the embassy. and for that I absolutely appreciate their kind help and generosity. Even though some people who reviewed this hotel that room is small, I find it just right and perfect. Actually, there is ample space for me to do my exercises and assignments. So the room space is perfect as long as there is a window :-)

Breakfast is good, toast, cheese pastries, coffee, juices, individual boxes of branded cereals, meats. Great start to the day. When checking in the gent was so lovely and happy to help. Nice hot powerful showers and clean room. Walking to the room it just smelt clean which was reassuring. Plenty of space in each room for the two of us for a weekend

Could have been a better use of space in the room. Reviews stated they were small but for our short stay we had ample space. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

i rarely see reviews involving families so I’m gonna say a few words during my stay with my 7 year old: -easy walk to Kensington Gardens and Princess Diana playground so she had loads of fun with that -convenient to Sainsbury and other local markets for milk, water and other essentials -convenient to Mcdonalds’s for my picky eater 🤷🏽‍♀️

-lifts weren’t working which I expected so that can be a bummer for some. good think we packed light so it wasn’t all bad. -being a light sleeper who was jetlagged, I would easily wake up with someone showering in the top floor or closing of door -i forget that European sized rooms are different from US so even for a petite woman like me, the room felt small for me.

Having to take the stairs to the 5th floor as the lift was out of order during our stay. Milk had gone off/curdled. Didn't realise when I had it in my cereal, but when I made a tea it curdled. I told a member of staff who changed the milk. The milk had probably been left out for breakfast the previous day and then refrigerated. Might be a good idea to get rid of open milk at the end of each breakfast sitting and/or invest in insulated jugs. I was worried that I might sluffer from stomach ache/ digestional problems after having the milk, but I was ok.

Brilliant location near Royal parks and several eateries on Queensway. 5 mins walk to tube station Staff were always polite and helpful. Rooms, although fairly small we’re clean and well presented, with good heating. - a huge improvement on QueensPark hotel over the road Hotel was quiet A simple but adequate cold breakfast, but room was small with only 4 tables

The lift was out of action “temporarily ” but has been for many months. We were on 4th floor and I struggled a little We had to cancel a room at last minute as my son was rushed to hospital but they have a no refund policy and stuck to it

The rooms were small, but very clean and functionally furnished. The atmosphere seemed anxious and prudent to provide guests with a good stay. The breakfast was manageable but perfectly adequate. There was butter, sausage, cheese, fruit, yogurts, cereals, honey, jam and fresh fruit. The coffee was excellent. The breakfast room itself also small but clean and the friendly lady came several times during breakfast to see if everything was still there and in order. The location is very good, two subway stations and a bus stop are within walking distance and the neighborhood itself was relatively quiet even at night. The proximity to the park is also worth mentioning, which we liked very much to get some peace and quiet. Stores and restaurants are within walking distance and you really have everything you need. In addition, I would like to mention the service that you could leave the luggage on the day of arrival in the accommodation, which can be advantageous with a late flight and is not self-evident.

It would have been nice to have one or two German channels on TV. I also noticed that the room doors close with relative difficulty, which means that you have to bang louder and probably disturb the neighbors or get scared yourself. But this is only a side note and did not cloud our stay.

Nice and clean. The room is bigger than most of london hotels. It's perfect for a family trip. It has 2 metro stations just at the corner. Only consideration is the breakfast. In a very tinny room and very simple and basic products. They could put some eggs or bacon and use a bigger room. There's only 4 tables so if they are all full you have to wait to have your breakfast. I recommend not taking the breakfast and instead going to many of the places you can find just 2 streets away from the hotel.
