Holland Inn Hotel

The room was very clean, the location was really nice and the price we paid for it was not high at all. In London the rooms/hotels are generally expensive but here we found a very good price for really good conditions. We had everything we needed in the room and for us it was just perfect. We even had a small fridge which came in handy to store some beverages or sandwiches, and also a hairdryer.

The only downside we found was that the room was indeed small. That won't stop you from having a good time though, we only used our room for sleep only, most of the time we were out exploring.

The staff were so helpful and friendly both before and during our stay. The location was perfect for us and we loved that it was within walking distance of Holland Park. The room was very clean, compact but had everything we could want and need, including air-conditioning and a fridge which you don't always get in a Travelodge! The price was very reasonable and we had a lovely stay.

The negative reviews made me question if I had made the right choice booking here and caused unnecessary worry!

For the price I paid (40 pounds ish a night) I felt the single room I booked was highly worth it! I got a room on the ground floor with a big window facing the road directly. I came in the spring so the weather was perfect and I didn't need the fan inside the room. The toilet was very clean despite what some google reviews said and I didn't have a problem with it. The room is small but I am a small person and came with only a carry on sized luggage so it was fine. If you have a big luggage and are a tall person (above 180cm) perhaps this room and toilet would be an issue.

The window facing the road meant that there are loads of traffic sounds at night but I am able to sleep through that. Also sometimes people smoke and talk outside and you can smell it but again, I am okay. Highly recommend buying febreeze and spraying the curtains and sheets down when you first arrive as the place is old and smells a lil musty.

I paid a budget price and so expected budget accommodation but I was more than pleased to have a fridge in my room and good standard en suite facilities. The room was warm but a fan was provided. And the laundry was changed daily. Overall most satisfactory.

Maybe paint the walls and skirting boards. It's a little thing but would make a big difference.

Good location, couldn’t hear road noise or other guests. Front desk staff were polite and friendly. Room was small but comfortable bed. Overall great value for money.

Very outdated and old decor, our bathroom door had a piece of Lino stuck to it, wouldn’t like to know what was underneath. Mattress was splitting against the wall but this didn’t effect sleep. Cleaning staff left bags of linen across landing making getting in and out of rooms impossible, didn’t acknowledge you or apologise for blocking the way.

The location was absolutely superb for the London Olympia Centre, less than five minutes walk. The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it was good value.

The decor, painting and carpets are looking a bit worn. My room was on the lower ground floor and was absolutely boiling and I didn’t dare open a window because of security. The staff tried to be helpful to turn the radiator completely off but it didn’t make a lot of difference. My colleague stayed three floors up from me and her room was a very pleasant temperature.

The room was clean. 2 of the beds were comfy (3rd bed was a bit uncomfortable). Was tea and coffee available, along with towels and soaps. Location was convenient with good bus and tube links to central london.

We loved everything about our stay, the staff members were amazing, kind and helpful. Everything was magnificent! Thank you for making our trip so unforgettable!

There was nothing that we could not like

The staff went the extra mile for my elderly mother when she arrived. They booked her in early, carried her suitcase to her room and made sure she was comfortable before leaving her.

There were only 2 pillows per room. Extra pillows would be great.

Shower and toilet was working amazing, with ventilation . Not much space in the bathroom, but for me was enough. It was not new building, but everything was very clean. In the room was little refrigerator and the kettle. Quiet area. Price for the room in London center was very good. Perfect for short staying. I would stay there again.
