Comfotel PRPL

Extremely large room, but with two very large double beds (one of which was very comfortable - I didn't use the other) and a single bed, unused floor space was a bit limited. Very good bathroom facilities. Everywhere was clean and the presence of both a refrigerator and tea/coffee facilities was appreciated. The room had multiple opening windows and had a good-sized table for a laptop or tablet and a comfortable work chair. There was a large TV in the room with just about all channels available, but the messages displayed on the TV were in Italian for some reason. There were ample plug sockets in the room but these seemed somewhat arbitrarily placed (see below). The price was extremely competitive, both for the area, for London as a whole and for similar accommodation. The hotel is conveniently situated for Goldhawk Road tube station (300m) on the Hammersmith and City line, or a short hike (1.3km) takes you to Hammersmith tube (District and Piccadilly lines).

Minor issues really. Although the table was a good size for a laptop, there were no plug sockets anywhere near it, so it was necessary to run a cable across half of the room. Only caffeinated instant coffee was supplied, no decaf (I am caffeine intolerant). This was not a huge issue, as from long experience I always carry my own supply. There were no USB ports anywhere in the room. The bedside lights didn't seem to work.

The location was perfect for getting around, Hammersmith Station was 3 bus stops away and Shepherds Bush was within walking distance. There were restaurants within walking distance, Sainsbury's was across the street and LiDL was right across from Shepherd Bush station. Any problem I had the hotel was more than happy to assist to make my stay more comfortable.

The room was a little cool during the day but it was plenty warm in the evening, there was even a heated towel rail in the bathroom, they use energy-saving features to help keep the prices lower for guests, so if you stay here in the fall, winter, spring bring a sweater.

Great set-up for a family. Mirrors outside the bathrooms helps getting ready in the morning, all the extra USB outlets was so great, nicely done.

My room was located on the third floor. There was no elevator, which was fine because I travel light. For those with heavy luggage, it can be tough. The room is tiny but well-kept. The WIFI works pretty well. There is a kettle to boil hot water, a hair dryer, a TV, a refrigerator, and a cup without a spoon-yes without a spoon or stirrer. The bathroom is clean, albeit there is some mildew on the wall in the shower. It's not a huge deal. If you do not like to use bar soap, bring your own liquid soap. They supply one tiny piece of bar soap. The Comfotel Prpl has no reception area. The reception is located at the EURO hotel next door. The check-in process was simple and speedy. The location is good, around a 15-minute walk from Shepherd's Bush station and a 20-minute walk from Hammersmith tube station. Very convenient if you take the tube from the Heathrow airport. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and they printed my boarding pass before I departed for the airport.

The room is small and has narrow stairs without a lift. But it is not an issue if you just need a clean and quiet room to sleep in.

We had a nice stay at the hotel, the room was what we saw on the photos posted, and had the facilities listed. The basic needs were there, which were the most important (bed and sheets and pillows, tv, washroom, fridge). Water pressure from the shower was really good, they also had a hair dryer, location was walking distance to malls, train stations and shops and to Eventim Apollo where we attended a concert. Also the receptionist who was located at the next building was really approachable.

The room was good, but as a fussy person, I cant help but notice that on the ceiling there were moldy parts, and also the wall there were some dirty bits sticking into it, the floor also seemed to not have been vacuumed. Complimentary tea and coffee were there but the tray contained of mugs which were dusty and had opened sachets of coffee and tea. 5 people were booked in but on the first day we were only provided with 4 towels, we asked but said they ran out and laundry delivery was next day, however they brought the other towel the next day as promised.

Really friendly and welcoming check-in staff. Felt very safe and secure. Literally a stone’s throw from Shepherd’s Bush Green so absolutely ideal for a night out at the O2 Academy Shepherd’s Bush.

Some features were a bit dates: bathroom extractor was annoyingly noisy and TV didn’t work, but minor inconveniences in an otherwise spot-on budget hotel.

The hotel was in fantastic location 10 minutes walk to underground station and all shops and restaurants etc etc and West field shopping mall bus station etc location fantastic sainsburys super market across the road from the hotel

The friendly staff etc etc. Recommended the pizza express restaurant five 5⃣ minutes walk away from the hotel

Perfect location, reasonable price, fridge in the room

Incredibly loud ventilation system in the bathroom, which starts when you turn on the lights and turns out 40-45 minutes after you switch off the lights. I suggest visiting the bathroom by night in the dark if you want to fall asleep after that

The best stay ever. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy.
