Plaza Hotel

Beds and room were clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly. Easy checkout in the morning. Easy to come and go as you pleased. Close to restaurants and two Tube stations.

As foreigners, we did not know there was a switch on the outside of the bathroom for the hot water. Or at least that is what we figured out at other hotels later. We had issues with not always having hot water for showers. Not really the facilities problem, but maybe labeling the switch on the outside of the bathroom since it's London and there are bound to be other foreigners like us. Also it was hot and muggy when we were there in August. Windows don't open very much at all, so hard to get much cool evening air into the room. Fan helped, but it was still quite warm.

A perfect value for money for a short stay in London. We booked a double room and got even an upgrade to a triple room. The hotel owners wrote us a message to thank us for the stay at the hotel! The accomodation is modest, you can't expect a lot of luxury here, but it is clean and the bathrooms are new! The showers are really good and the beds comfortable. The hotel is situated in Hammersmith between two Tube lines, Overground and National Railway service. If you use the Central Line, you are at Oxford Circus in 15 to 20 minutes. A perfect location which enables you to explore London in an easy way!

Just two improvement tips: put a shower mat and a shower gel into every bathroom, it is more convenient than these small shower bags.

I liked the location of the place. It takes just 8 minutes to walk to the nearest underground station Shepherd's Bush (red line) which also has frequent night trains during the weekend. There is Tesco and Lidl stores few minutes away, and a shopping centre and other restaurants nearby. The staff was also really friendly and helpful, and the check-in/checkout process was quick.

Some walls are thin (plasterboard wall/drywall), so you could hear people talking from the room next door. It may be a problem for light sleepers; however, I personally didn't have any issues with it.

Check in was friendly and efficient. To check my daughters safety, as under 18, they asked her if she was here with her mum. We were upgraded from a double room to a family room at no extra cost. We advised we were going to a concert so we were given a front door key for late night return and although check out was at 10am we were allowed to check out at 11 or 12 in case our night was late. Good location, not too far to walk for local amenities in Hammersmith and Shepherds Bush. Pleasant area. Would stay here again.

Walls a bit thin. Could hear EVERYTHING from the rooms both sides. 🥴Just poor timing of our stay. Ceiling above the shower had started pealing from the damp/steam/condensation.

The room has only the essentials: two beds, shower/toilet and a window with a lovely view. Our room was upgraded for free upon arrival and even then it wasn't super large, you get what you pay for. Super friendly staff. Perfect place for a 1-night stay.

If you plan to stay for more than 1 night, be ready to account for following: - the noise isolation between floors is virtually non existent - somehow there was no hot (hot) water, the hottest we could get was barely warm - occasional stains on walls, window and curtains

Convenient for travel from Heathrow after a long flight really needed this to rest, the room was offered to be upgraded to a larger room, so I didn't have to carry lots of luggage up flights of stairs to a smaller room. The room was located well to not hear street noise. Nice location for cafes and restaurants.

Initially the bed seemed firm but I slept well enough. There was briefly plumbing noise from other guests using bathroom /shower facilities, but overall the stay was very easy, and convenient.

The hotel is located between hammersmith and sheperd’s bush and well served with transportation to go easily to central London. It is classified a 2 stars hotel but in my opinion was much better than other 3 stars hotel I have been in London. It is small but rooms are clean and comfortable. When I arrived the person who worked there welcomed me very friendly and assigned me a double even though I booked for a single room. However when I entered the room there was some cigarette smell probably from the previous guests so I ended up getting a quadruple room which was very nice. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very stylish. Even if the rooms are very close to each other I couldn’t hear any noise. Everything during my stay was good and positive. Definitely a place to recommend for the price paid. I will return if I need an hotel in London again!

Nothing in particular. The only downside is that there is no lift but not a big deal since it’s only 3 floors.

The hotel and the whole service is amazing! First off the location is very good (close to everything and safe) the room was great too, very clean and spacious(big Tv , comfortable beds) but the best thing of all is how friendly the staff is. To be more specific Jay is one of the kindest and most helpful persons I ve ever meet , from the day 1 he tried(and succeed) to make me feel like home and really made the accomodation there one of the best I ve ever had ! Really cannot recommend this hotel enough! One of the best! Thank you for all Jay , hope to see u again soon!

Nothing - everything was great!

This is the second time we've stayed here within a few weeks and both stays were great. Both times we were just over for a football match and we will definitely be booking it again for future matches. Very good value for money, great location, lovely room and a great host. He's extremely friendly and really helpful. A perfect spot for a trip to London, only about a 5 minute walk to Shepherds bush tube station and a pub right next door. Will definitely stay again :)

The location is very good with quick access to Westminster/South Bank from the District Line at one end of the street and Soho/train stations from the Central Line on the other. About 15mins on the tube. The hotel itself is a BnB style townhouse, pretty cosy and easy to get in and out. No lift I saw, as is normal in these kind of places in London. The checkin was pleasant with the guy doing reception nice. Bed was cosy and the shower was pretty excellent, with high pressure which for me is always the most important thing!! Room is small but had a big fan and window which was good for the summer. Teas with milk were in the room. Fridge was good and nice and cold

There were mattresses stored in front of the building for removal, which is a bit naff. The surrounding hotels are very budget with people hanging out the front which makes the street feel a little unsafe.
