The Brook Green Hotel

Room…comfort and decor…beautiful charming room. Cleanliness Nice toiletries Staff… friendly and helpful Very nice dinner menu; we enjoyed a light dinner on the last evening of our stay. It was very good.

We had requested first floor accommodations because one member of our party struggles with stairs. Our misunderstanding was that the first floor was not the ground floor. Be sure to communicate this to anyone with such needs. Staff should have an opportunity to taste all foods on your menu and to have the chef discuss menus items with staff. Staff taking orders not able discuss menu items in detail or with much confidence. Perhaps install handicap rail inside the lovely deep tub / shower which is quite a step over into the tub. Difficult for older adults stepping into the shower. Back patio charming and a bonus but needs a little dusting up. Empty recyclables stored under staircase a bit unsightly. Many smokers. Less appeal for travelers not accustomed to smoking allowed in restaurants.

Our experience was fantastic from the start. The receptionist warmly greeted us upon our arrival and we promptly received our room key. Upon entering the room, our excitement grew as we discovered what lay behind the door: a spacious area with a luxurious super king bed that looked and was incredibly comfortable. The bathroom was lovely too, with a massive freestanding bath, loads of towels and great quality handwash, shampoo, etc. The hotel was around a 10 minute walk from Hammersmith underground station and was very easy to find.

The airconditioning started making a strange knocking noise at around 5am, we turned it off and the noise stopped. We reported this to reception to be told that there was already someone organised to remedy the issue.

The breakfast was lovely, the entire hotel was beautiful. I’ve stayed here before but it was a long time ago, coming back — just wow. The hotel rooms are crafted with such care, from the bedding to the decor, the view, the bathroom - I felt like I was in a luxury hotel. It was stunning. Even down to the refreshments you get in the room, the choice of drinks, I could go on… the staff were so incredibly friendly. The location is perfect if you’re looking to travel into central London and tour attractions, there’s plenty of travel options locally. There’s also lots to do in the area too, as well as places to eat, local grocery stores if you need extras. Without a doubt one of my favourite hotels in London.

Breakfast service was not informative enough no fruit juices on the menu , not clear how much they were. Service charge added to breakfast bill not given a bill until after I paid and then it said it was optional. Good food for breakfast but toast cold after eating the compote. Just a bit more effort would do justice to the quality. I felt a bit disappointed by the service charge and not being given a real choice about paying it. This was not Dinner. My mistake paying separately for my accommodation as I did not want a full cooked breakfast. Others in my family had that and said it was lovely.

This hotel stay was impeccable!! Staff were great, room was amazing, and cleanliness of a very high standard. Close enough to walk to the Apollo, cab back from there was only £5 so location was great! Room service was faultless, food was also amazing and beds super comfortable. Communication prior to our stay was great, we asked for a room with a bath if possible and they said they would do their upmost to provide this and they upgraded us free of charge! Very impressed! This hotel exceeded all our expectations and felt it was extremely reasonably priced for the service we received!

We honestly can’t fault a thing, our sky box didn’t work, we rang down to reception and someone came to fix it in less than 5 minutes.

I loved the decor, the bed was super comfortable, slept like a dream (had an eye mask thankfully with me against the light coming in from the hallway). The breakfast was lovely and the pub downstairs was great too, lovely regional menu. The shortbread in the rooms was a nice touch and the size of the room was great. Love that they offer space masks, even if my room hadn’t been restocked, big fan of the product. The mini bar was wonderfully stacked and it felt really homely. The staff were helpful when I realised I’d forgotten my phone charger adaptor and provided me with one. Was there for a gig at the Apollo and found it perfectly located for this.

Could not for the life of me get the tv to work, I’m positive if I’d asked for help I would have been helped, my stay was just too short to deal with that. If you are a light sleeper like me pack some earplugs.

Super charming rooms! Very clean and very comfortable. Staff was extremely accommodating when a flight delay took us past the check-in cutoff. Delicious breakfast as well with super nice bar staff. Right on the Picadilly line, great for Heathrow and getting to central London. Perfect hotel.

Bring ear plugs for the bar noise if you’re going to bed early! They do a great job of closing things up at a good hour though.

Rooms are above a really nice pub, beautiful building and beautiful bar. We wondered whether it might be noisy as it’s on a main road but our room was at the back and we weren’t troubled by noise. Nice comfy bed, clean and spacious bathroom with toiletries and snowy white towels. Honesty bar in the room although we drank in the bar. Tea / coffee etc, Nespresso machine. Also cookies and water - the water bottle had been standing in the sunny window too long though, it had green slime inside so I got fresh water from the bar. Will stay again, it’s about a 5 min walk from Hammersmith underground station.

Breakfast was great (though we were expecting coffee to be included...), the room was way better than many similar priced hotels, though clearly a bit tired, staff were charming. All in all, we would be happy to go there again (and if offered some sort of loyalty voucher, would definitely do so!)

The usual gripes... the curtains were a bit manky, we couldn't use the plug in the sink as it was old and knackered (like me...) decor a bit tired... bit no worse than most London hotels - and better than many!

Firstly, we were attending an event at the Eventim Apollo and it was only a short 8min walk from the hotel. There was also a big Tescos next door for any extras we needed to pick up. The room was super cute with unique decor and came with lots of amenities, a nespresso machine and homemade shortbread! There were options for a late checkout and the staff were so helpful and accomodating. We also hung out in the pub garden after checking out, so overall an amazing experience and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again🤩
