NOX Olympia

Very good location, cleanliness and decent room. A lift was available and a nice view from the room. Close to Kensington Olympia Overground station and lots of breakfast options on Kensington high street.

Check-in was complicated and is at a different hotel (called Nox Kensington) which is a 5-10 minute walk. The check-in software doesn't work sometimes. Earls Court is the closest tube and it's a 15-minute walk from Earls court. (Don't get fooled by Kensington Olympia, that's an overground station, not a tube, so if you are coming from Heathrow, keep that in mind)

This hotel met my expectations, even exceeded them a little bit. I was taken aback that my room was larger than it looked in photos; it was nice, quiet and had all the amenities I needed like an en suite bathroom, your own fridge, microwave, TV and air-conditioning. (A lifesaver!) Very convenient too as I was travelling to the Olympia for a convention which was only a 2-minute walk up the street! The hotel staff were friendly, approachable and sympathetic, especially the housekeepers. I would definitely recommend if you need somewhere affordable to stay, a single room is a surprisingly great value for money.

The only downside was the lift was out of order, so lugging my heavy suitcase up and down 2-to-3 flights of stairs wasn’t the best.

We loved the fact that the room had extra amenities so we could microwave food and store cold items. I loved the extra care with the slippers and bottles of shower gel. The working aircon really helped and being by the door helped us both with access. It was a great experience for both of us and we will be back next year! As its 5min from the venue and 15min from the high street.

The location is quite good, close to the metro station High Street Kensington, and also the bus station. The staff is very nice.

The elevator is out of use, our room is on the 3rd floor,so we have to move three big suitcase up and down. The triple room is small. Luggages go under the bed, there is no room for unpacked, and the space between beds is quite narrow, we have to squeeze and slide.

Check in was a tramp down the road - not obvious at all and a real faff - added to that was the DEMAND for photo ID - which is not a legal requirement in the UK - I was really peeved with this which was a pity - the room was fine.

The receptionist was exceptional in her care, the room was nice and big (we were in B02), it was also extremely clean and tidy, and the location was great. The best bit about the room is the shower too. It was also brilliant to have the quiet policy after 11 too as an early and light sleeper.

This is really picky and would be fine for most people. I struggle to sleep with lights so the small blue lights on the (really useful) USB plugs were really bright!

Good location for getting around the city (or out of it). Charming location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was small but functional.

The AC did not seem to be adjustable, and ran weakly. A couple nights I was too warm to sleep comfortably. Was advertised as "temperature-adjustable". Booking.com said breakfast was served: it was not.

The rooms are modern, super clean and comfortable. They get cleaned everyday, big towels, conditioner and shampoo available. Amazing shower. Coffee and tea. Friendly staff. Safe area. Close to a bus stop. Electricity outlets at the bed. Lots of place to store things, even though the room is small.

I guess the location could be closer to an Underground. There is a close district line, but this doesn't run regularly and not at all during the week. The guy at the front desk recommended taking the Baron's Court station, though - about a 10 - 15 minute walk. If you're up to this, then awesome! We enjoyed walking anyway, and it was safe, so this tip helped us a lot. The room is small, but we expected this. Just putting it here in case people don't look at the size before booking.

nice room, comfortable. simple but stylish. we chose it to be Notting Hill carnival, I would use it again.

windows didn’t open, a bit stuffy. no toilet paper on arrival (they brought it when I phoned reception). signage outside could be clearer, there are two addresses with the reception at the other address, which is slightly confusing. It was not a problem though! we worked it out.
