Room Home Stay

This small flat is very well located, only a few minutes walking from Liverpool Street metro & train (direct to Stansted). The staff is very helpful : they collected a parcel for us, provided EU adaptors, took our luggage on the last day and generally were welcoming and friendly. Beds are comfortable.

The facilities are good, with some wear and tears. The bathroom does not have ventilation to the outside so it is necessary to keep windows open long enough to avoid too much moisture. The customers from the bars in the street can be noisy. Plan to bring some ear plugs if you are sensitive to loud talking.

Some outside lights for the seating area would be a good idea. But everything else was great.

The location was fabulous. The facilities were excellent. the staff were very pleasant and they minded our luggage even after we checked out. We had our teen daughter with us and there was plenty of room for the three of us.

It was a well appointed room. It had a kitchenette and enough space for our luggage. It is in a fantastic location being very close to Liverpool train station and walking distance to iconic London land marks, including London Bridge, Tower Bridge The Thames, The Monument to the great fire of London and the Sky Garden.

The accommodation was hard to find at night as it was just a door that was amongst other commercial businesses. We were up 4 flights of stairs and after a full day of sightseeing was hard. Lugging suitcases up and down the stairs was also difficult.

The room size is excellent. For two people you have a king bed and a couch sitting area with coffee table, plus a little kitchenette. Everything in the room was excellent. The best part is the location, very close to the Liverpool Street station. We were able to go everywhere we wanted with the tube. There is wonderful activity around the hotel every night. This may get a little loud at night but it was fine, we like the activity. Great places to eat around the hotel or short walk. Also, more of a locals area, and less heavy tourists zone like Camden. Building security is very good. We need prox card to enter building at street level and then again in room. Housekeeping services everyday was excellent. We will definitely stay again when back in London.

Occasionally there was a slight sewer smell in the washroom. Best thing to do is to leave the light on in the washroom as I believe this activates the exhaust fan, and then close the door. Not a big deal but this was the only issue.

great central location, very modern furnishings which was a nice touch. The room has everything you need for a stay, including heater, hairdryer and toiletries. Bed was very roomy and comfortable with a throw incase you get cold. housekeeping cleaned the room and washed any dishes everyday, fresh towels and toilet paper etc was given. The gentleman on reception was so helpful and kind to additional requests I had, very accommodating and made my stay very pleasurable.

Just to echo the sentiments about the noise, although not a problem for me, can get rowdy incase that will be an issue for light sleepers. The shower door was a little tricky to open/close, probably just needs replacing or updating but not a huge issue.

Location is excellent, you can see 'Eataly' from the moment you walk out, couple of minutes walk to Liverpool street, lots of nice bars and restaurants around. Very helpful at location, we were upgraded from a small double to a suite which was amazing. Beds extremely comfy. Nice living room area to relax in, comfortable and modern furniture. Couldn't really notice any outdoor noise. 2 Bathrooms which were lovely and rainfall style shower heads. TV, wifi (wifi names on the door). Very safe with key codes generated for each stay. Excellent heating and cooling controls. Can't fault it at all, will definitely be back. We were also able to store luggage when we checked out so we could explore, kept safely at location with number tags in a locked room.

The staff was very friendly, helpful and easy to communicate with. Helped carrying luggage up and down and supported us with water bottles when needed. Good size on the room. Location was excellent, near underground and buses, lots of restaurants and bars. 20 min walk to London Tower. 5 min to Brick Lane. 45 min to Covent Garden if you prefer a longer walk

Need more frequently maintenance on the small stuff like tighten screws and make sure everything is in order. Its all in the details ;)

The staff was very helpful and welcoming. It’s conveniently located near a station and we found everything very clean. The small kitchen was well stocked with tea, coffee, glasses etc. I appreciated there also being other useful items in the room such as an alarm clock and a hairdryer.

It’s located near some pubs and restaurants, so very sensitive travellers might not be so keen on the noise. In our studio we only had a rainfall shower but at least there were shower caps. Creaky floors and no lift but I believe that it’s typical of english architecture.

Great location! Very easy to find and it’s well situated among bars, restaurants, supermarkets etc. The private terrace was lovely. Bed is very comfortable and the room in general had everything we needed for a weekend away. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Considering it was surrounded by busy bars and restaurants, we were high up and the noise level at night on a weekend was fine (very faint noise from the street below).

The private terrace room is located on the top floor of around 6 floors and there is no lift. We knew this when booking and are a young couple but just be aware that you will need to be prepared to walk up stairs if you have heavy luggage with you (but the guy on reception was very kind and asked if we needed help with the luggage). The bathroom could do with a little TLC. Sink skirting board needs repairing and the soaps in the dispensers need adjusting; the one in the shower is unusable unless you take it out of the dispenser (unable to take them out fully). Small glass shelf needs repairing. General wear and tear. No sponge to wash up dishes. Floor creaks very heavily.
