Very nice and helpful staff, good service Nice Lunch, comfortable rooms

Some small mishaps due to newly opened hotel with inexperienced staff, topped with a false fire alarm 04.15 Sunday morning… lowers the overall impression, but the hotel has the potential to become a very nice hotel with a little more trimming... We also lacked clothes hooks for outerwear and shoehorns. Minus for the lack of a small fridge in the room

The beds were absolutely divine. The quality of all of the materials provided were fabulous, from the extra fluffy towels to the hair conditioner (something not normally that nice in hotels). Above all, the staff was exceptional. They were all so friendly and kind, and not in a fake way. The housekeeper was proactive about changing my bedding for foam. I saw the chef helping the front desk staff with my bag up on the way out. Frankly, superb.

Nothing to report. Everything that I experienced was nice and easy.

The atmosphere and the use of colour were very nice. Breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly.

The room and the bed were quite small. It said King size, but it was actually quite narrow. Also it was quite noise sensitive. We heard people walking around in the room above us quite loud.

extra thick bath towels, robe and slippers, nice toiletries, loved the radio playing once the key card was put in to turn the power on.

I’m not a fan of being shown to my room and being told where everything is, appreciate some people like this, but not for me.

location close to Lizzy line + trains to Stanstead and Vity Airport. Cooked breakfast and cockteil bar. Great bathroom

This is a beautifully put together space with a slightly quirky aesthetic. The food in the restaurant was excellent, the room was quite large and very quiet. There were some good freebies in the mini bar and we were able to travel to interesting parts on London on foot.

This hotel hasn't been open very long and we went in January, so it makes sense that there weren't many other guests. Still, added a bit of "Shining" vibe. This could have been mitigated if the hotel served food in a cozier space, rather than the... ballroom? that's kitted out out to serve about 150 people. We were the only diners and it was a bit unnerving. The staff were pretty bored without much to do (one of them told me as much). We had one issue where the shower stopped working for a few hours, and the front desk weren't very forthcoming with an apology. Usually, in a place of this price spec, you can expect to be offered by a cocktail at the bar. We went out without having had a hot shower and didn't feel especially five star that day.

This is a fabulous but quirky boutique hotel. The décor may not be for everyone but I really enjoyed the lounge and breakfast area. I managed to get a very large room while it was on sale so I cannot fault the room or value for money. The location is in the city and very close to a number of tube stations.

The breakfast is not quite up to the standards of surrounding 5 star hotels like Sun Street and the Ned. For example the orange juice was carton juice rather than freshly squeezed and priced at a huge markup for carton juice. The muffin used for the eggs benedict was heavy and lacking flavour.

The hotel was superb in all ways. Clean, superb decor. Bedroom was spacious and had all the amenities you could ask for. Also loved the black out blinds behind the shutters, which made for a good nights sleep.

Nothing major as it was one of the best hotels I have stayed in.. a couple of minor things would make it even better: a bin in the bathroom (as I say minor but worth the mention!). Also the lighting over the mirrors could be better. As a female needing to do hair/makeup etc. some extra ‘real’ light is appreciated. I loved the ambiance lighting but practicalities need to also be considered.

a lot of outside noise and the room was super dark even with all the lights on

easy access from the underground, lots of shops and restaurants. Felt safe and a good balance of not too far from fun but also a nice retreat from super busy areas.

there was very heavy intense construction all around with cranes literally 100 feet out the window and construction starts at 8am. luckily my partner and I love dorky things like cranes and construction- it felt like Lego land, and it may or may not have warned us before we booked but it worked out fine. we had a little issue with the tv system going down on the last day, and working to get some clothes back we left behind or couldn’t find but they have been helpful so far, waiting to hear back. The online breakfast through booking.com was confusing but the hotel was accommodating and very kindly comped our breakfast which was lovely.
