Point A Hotel London Shoreditch

My boyfriend and I stayed here for one night, we had an early flight and arrived at around 9.30 in the morning to the hotel to leave our bags but Nicolas at reception welcome us and let us check in at that time, he was a very nice guy and very pleasant. our room had all the necessary and was very clean. We will definitely come back

Great thai take away across the street! The location is very convenient, right between two major hubs of transport (Old Street and Liverpool Street Station). We came with the Eurostar, and the connection with St. Pancras is perfect. The street is relatively quiet, with lots of nice cafes and restaurants. The room was very clean when we arrived! It is small, yes, but very smart in it's use of space. With earplugs in we slept really well! Beds are very comfy, pillows less so, but we slept well.

We stayed for 5 nights and our room was not cleaned once. I do not need a cleaned room every day, but with a 5-night stay you would expect a new set of sheets and a clean bathroom at least once Furthermore we had to ask for clean towels every time we needed one. I fully support the sustainability concerns, but one towel for 5 nights is not enough. When we asked for a new towel, the personnel on duty was unfriendly and not forthcoming at all. Furthermore, we had to ask for toilet paper too, which is not very pleasant.

We arrived at the hotel early in the morning, around 8am. Early check-in came at an extra cost so we decided to wait, however, when the receptionist asked about our flight and learned that we had been up since 2am, he kindly allowed us to check in early without any extra fee. We greatly appreciated this gesture! In addition, the WiFi was one of the best I have ever experienced in a hotel, it was stable, fast, and did not disconnect randomly. The room was also comfortable.

The pillows need to be changed, and the staff was changing my towels even though I didn't leave them on the floor.

Hotel and the rooms are amazingly clean which is a huge plus. Towels are being change every day. Rooms are a bit small but that is presented on the offer. On top of that I must mention incredable each member of the staff, they are so nice kind and willing to help in anything. Breakfest is also good with several things to offer. Prices for the snacks and drinks are very reasonable even lower then in the markets on the street. Anyway I truly recomend this place. Price and service ratio here is on higl level and once I return back to London, this will be my number one choice if available. All kudos to the staff once again!

The staff was very friendly and helpful to us, especially when we asked if we could get relocated to a different room due to unpleasant smell in the room and a broken shower. They made us feel really comfortable and arranged an alternative room right away. The hotel’s lobby is designed so well, has plenty of outlets and space to hang out with your friends/family after a long day. We loved how easy it was to get out of the hotel and right on the transport everywhere we wanted to go. The place was also close to some of the nicest pubs, entertainment areas and food places.

Our first room has a really unpleasant smell that didn’t seem to go away and the shower door and faucet were broken. If you are travelling as a couple, you might want to opt for an option with larger beds because the double beds in this hotel are too small for two.

The staff are extremely helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was small, but I’m saying that it had everything we needed. My daughter liked the lights. Good shower. The breakfast was ideal. I know a lot have complained about the lack of meat. I think that there is so much choice given by the hotel that meat is not missed. We was very happy with what was of offer. There is shampoo, shower gel, face wash and hand wash included in the room price, only conditioner and tooth paste was needed. Towels was of good quality. Close enough to all the sightseeing attractions, and all of the train stations.

I’d have liked a fridge in our room for drinks, as we was staying for more than just a night.

The people working in the hotel were very friendly. The employees working at the check in were excellent. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. It was quiet. The airconditioning worked well. I didn't have the breakfast so I can't comment.The lobby/breakfast restaurant looked nice and inviting.

The room is very small and there is no comfortable chair to sit on. I was only there for one night so that wasn't an issue. However, for longer stays it would not be work that well as there is nowhere to comfortably sit. The shower wasn't very powerful. Otherwise the bathroom was clean and good. There was a window but it didn't open properly. It also had some type of matted glass or something similar on it. This meant that although light comes through you can't look out of it. I didn't like that and it makes me feel closed in and confined. Even if the view isn't great i prefer to be able to look outside.

The position is great, the staff is polite and helpful, the hotel is a good value. Also, the room was clean and with modern furniture. Breakfast was a bit crowded but okay, with good croissants and stuff.

The room was the size of a matchbox and without closets. I mean, I don't need a large room, but I do have things called clothes, and unlike my teenager self I don't keep them in the baggage anymore. They need to be stored in closets and/or drawers for the duration of the stay, and the room lacked both. I didn't know I had to request closets as a special service but I guess next time I will. "Have any special requests?" Closet, please.

Lovation was very convenient, especially for work trips in central London or around Moorgate/Old St/Bank areas. Given it is surrounded by office buildings mostly, it is quiet a night. Breakfast was decent with plenty of fruit/healthy options. A double room is pretty spacious with a cool, Shoreditch vibe all over. It’s also within walking distance from Shoreditch and Liverpool St, so there are always loads of options for food, groceries, drinks, etc. The hotel is also close to Old Street and Moorgate stations with good links to bus services from/to Kings Cross. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a convenient stay in central London
