Danubius Hotel Regents Park

The staff very friendly and helpful. Very good location. Beds are very comfortable.

Very outdated room. The air conditioning doesn't work well, we didn't have the basic things in the room like slippers, robes. Breakfast could have more variety.

The hotel is well located beside Regents Park, perfect for a morning stroll to have brunch in the park's cafe. The late check out time of midday is wonderful. The reception and bar staff are very welcoming and helpful. We drove to the hotel and they were happy to tell us how many carparks were available just before our arrival so we knew we'd have space. It is open air parking so no height restrictions. We were lucky to have one room upgraded, though both rooms were very comfortable. The only slightly off putting experience was the man inside the door who never smiles and looks down his nose at you - perhaps he is security and paid to make guests uncomfortable. Definitely not representative of all the other wonderful staff.

The gentleman who first faces guests, immediately inside the door. His dour expression is very off putting as your first impression. Also, it would be good to warn guests who are driving that the entrance is in the back lane.

Breakfast was excellent. Pavillon Bar was also very enjoyable. The location of the hotel is wonderful.

The room was a little small. There was no shower cap in the bathroom.

The room was very clean the toilet refurbished and super clean. Bedsheets clean and good quality. Size of the room very good. Ventilation and heating super efficient! Very useful that the room is fully equipped with hairdryer, iron and iron board. The view of the hotel very nice. Neighbourhood amazing and close to St John’s Wood high street and 2 minutes from Regent’s Park. Staff very kind!! The whole experience VERY VERY VERY good!

Interiors were fresh and stylish. Our room was really comfortable. Great bed and bathroom. Great location as opposite Lord's Cricket and The Regent's Park. Good parking for blue badge holders.

We couldn't get the heat to work in the room. We had issues with the tv getting stuck when you tried to change channels. Someone came to help and fixed it but it did it again within minutes so we gave up. We ate at the Pavilion Terrace restaurant, as we had our dog. The food was delicious but I have never experienced waits like it! We were there for an hour before we could order food. Then the mains turned up before the starters then the starters so we had the whole meal on the table at the same time. Also very pricey.

We visited for my 75th birthday and it was the hotel where I had had my wedding reception 31 years ago. When the hotel knew, they upgraded our room and a box of little macaroon cakes and a birthday card were left in our room. The female receptionist when we checked in (11th April) was absolutely delightful and the lady who checked us out (14th April) was charming also. The staff in the restaurant were lovely and I am extremely grateful to the chef/manager who made porridge for me on two days

Well, although the shower was very good with good pressure, I personally like a bath. However it was not really a problem. More milk could have been automatically provided in the room. I know London can be very expensive and we were put off buying more food and drinks in the bar area because of the cost

The location was fine, easy to get to using public transport. The bin wasn’t emptied in our room when we first arrived, not good considering it was being cleaned when we got there. The dusting in the room could have been better, the reception desk lamps had cobwebs on them so this appears to be a problem throughout. Breakfast was good but our dirty, used dishes and plates were not removed so it was difficult to find enough space. The offer of fresh coffee would have been good, there was no interaction from staff at all other than asking our room number when entering the restaurant. The reception staff were friendly, check-in and check-out was seamless other than the key not opening the room.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. On arrival my two children were given welcome teddy bears. I thought this was such a lovely gesture. The staff couldn't do enough to accommodate us. Everyone went above and beyond to help me. My phone battery died and they made sure I had a charger to charge it as I left mine at home. Then when I got to the train station I realised I left our train tickets in the safe and with having 2 young children I was absolutely distraught thinking I was stranded in London so I rang the hotel and they very kindly got my tickets and drove them to paddington station for me. That was so kind. I was so upset and they did everything to help me and my children

The room was clean and quiet which we loved after days of walking at the city. The room service ladies were very attentive and always made sure our room was clean. Very close to all attractions if you take the tube at the St. John's Wood tube station.

I wished if the breakfast included turkey sausage, turkey ham/turkey cold cuts or turkey bacon for the people like us that don’t eat pork. The breakfast was excellent but we needed to have that protein. The bed mattress was somewhat hard but I believe some people will like it like that.
