Norton Park Hotel, Spa & Manor House - Winchester

I came to the hotel for my niece's wedding. It is an excellent venue beautiful setting. The staff were very welcoming, the breakfast had an excellent range for all

The room was very dusty, mirrors were smeary, the shower did not look like it had been cleaned at all the bin was dirty, the bedding I had to look for the cleanest pillowcase as there was makeup on one very badly stained. I did mention to the staff and was waiting on a phone call from the cleaning manager but I received no call if I had I would not have given this review and accepted an apology

The receptionist at check in was very helpful. It was a long trek to the bedroom from Reception, Restaurant and Spa but the room had everything you would expect and was very comfortable. The swimming pool and spa facilities were very nice and the staff very polite. I ate dinner in the bar as I wanted to make use of the pool and the staff there were very helpful. Breakfast was superb. I hadn't realised that I could have ordered other vegetarian items but the buffet was exceptional and the choice of fruit juices etc was lovely. When I left and got to my car I noticed there were electric charging points which would be useful for people with electric cars.

There was a biscuit wrapper on the floor of my room when I arrived which made me think the cleaning was not up to standard. The room was a long way from reception and all the facilities.

Nice hotel and rooms where nice very spacious we had 2 kids too ! beds very comfy !! and there was a pool and parking was available !

when we arrived at 6pm was told we couldnt go swimming with the kids as they had time for kids to go - 8am - 10am or 4pm till 6 pm only reason i booked was for the pool to keep them entertained but we had to wait till morning ! very short window for kids to go on and enjoy if they advertise for family stay ! this information was not on booking.com !! food was ok - very standard ! we had 1 fish and chips , 1 burger and kids had a bowl of pasta each , garlic bread and nachos all had 1 drink each - was over £100 ! was not fresh food and we sat in the bar not even the restaurant !

From the greeting at the front desk when we first walked in to the handing in of the keys at the end of our stay, we were treated with great respect, so that we walked a little taller and with great confidence. We had stayed in other places before our night here and it was so wonderful to have this as our last night's stay, our only regret is we didn't stay a little longer to fully immerse ourselves in the facilities on offer. As an added note the shower was amazing. The buffet breakfast was a glorious add on and we relished the food on offer. A shout out to Manfred for making me smile when he welcomed us and matched my sense of humour.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. As in other reviews, there is a walk to rooms though they are lovely walks which would have been made easier if we had had suitcases with wheels however this did not deter from an exceptional stay

The room was spacious and bed was comfy the staff were friendly we attended a wedding there, The grounds were wonderful and the food you couldnt fault

The breakfast was a bit of a shambles it was a bum fight for a table the poor staff couldn't cope with the mass of people, and the drinks at the bar for two doubles and mixers was 28 odd pounds in one bar... Then a complete different price in another.. if you'd lower the prices guarantee you'd have made a lot more money out of us.. we stopped drinking at 8 and the wedding didn't finish until 12.30 even a rich man couldn't afford to get to drunk in this establishment.

We had a fantastic stay at the Norton Park Hotel, upon check-in at the impressive reception area we were welcomed with big smiles from the reception team. The hotel is modern, clean and offers fantastic perks. The walks by the lake & forest trail are great. The spa facilities are fantastic and very clean too! We used the gym once and with their up to date gym equipment we could connect our Apple Watches to begin our workout (my local gym doesn’t even have this!). The room was great too, just opposite the pool. We bumped into a few members of the housekeeping team who were very friendly & welcoming. Having worked in similar hotels in the past I can honestly say that this hotel is worth the visit for a relaxing getaway, a breath of fresh air. We will be coming back.

A beautiful scenic hotel staff very welcoming and helpful very patient with us a group of eight from three years age to 57 years of age , The spa was great weight relief in the morning for aging feeds and bones lovely swimming pool sauna and steam rooms and can pre-book massage treatments. Breakfast is outstanding if you can't find something you'd like then you must be really fussy, friendly and helpful.

Our rooms was a long way from reception, the staff did warn us. And apologise we did find some shortcuts.

We went as a family group of eight of us from the age of three to 57 the staff were very patient and welcoming the rooms were good quality, the spa was a great use for our Aiken bones and they can feed after three days at festivals. Rooms refreshed every day. Breakfast was outstanding and suited everything we wanted if you couldn't find something you liked you must be a fussy old so. Very quiet beautiful area with beautiful views.

The staff did warn us a long walk to the rooms.

The room and the staff were very friendly.

The breakfast was ok standard buffet the room was clean and ok the only issue I had was the hotel is a bit remote so if you want to get a taxi to a venue which we had to was going to be costly the local taxi firms charge you from where they are coming from and then to the venue. If it wasn't for a member of staff giving us a lift to the venue it would have been quite expensive.

The food was exceptional. The room we booked was amazing and all the little touches really helped us celebrate our anniversary in style. Everywhere is so clean and tidy.

Nearly all the staff we encountered at Norton were amazing. Unfortunately member of staff that brought our dinner didn't have them the right way round and she didn't even ask if we needed any sauces. She also didn't seem particular happy which kind of let's down the other staff that are super friendly and attentive.
