We liked that the flats shared the same entrance hallway & we easily moved from each flat. As a party of 8 girls, this was ideal. Kettle for tea/coffee making with teabags, coffee, carton milk & sugar. The pub next door serves exceptional food in the evening. Good car parking out the front of property. In 1 flat ; 2 double beds In other flat ; 1 double, 2 singles. Fantastic location to Winchester

The shower was cooler than I wanted. The breakfast was not ideal as booked property with a cooked breakfast included & received porridge pots & flapjacks (all products contained wheat so I wasn’t able to have anything) Would have liked a bigger fridge please.

We shopped in Winchester then drove 20 mins to this venue. Staff were very friendly and space within the room was plentiful. We loved being able to walk across the forecourt to the pub and have supper and the food was very good.

Although the room is spacious it is rather drab. We had Suite 2 and light from the small window is miminal. It was made worse by the plain decor of white walls, grey carpet and grey bedding. It needs pictures on the wall, perhaps a local artist displaying their work and floral / lighter bedding to lighten and brighten. Would have liked a hairdryer too.

The staff were so welcoming and friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. They offered advice and numbers for local taxis so we could avoid driving to a wedding in a nearby town, and one staff member saved the day with a zip/dress issue. I meant to go back in and tip her and I forgot, I'm so sorry!

Nothing to dislike at all! The only thing I could consider mentioning was the TV in the room didn't seem to have any working signal, and the WiFi wasn't particularly fast, but we weren't bothered about watching TV really and the 4G signal on my phone was strong enough that I didn't need the WiFi anyway.

Come here every year (if we can)... The room is perfect for our sisters meet up! Free parking, friendly staff

Didn't have WiFi due to the dongle being stolen or something... Which was fine but with it having hardly any signal it would have been helpful, understand that's not their fault though!! Toilet door wasn't great... Too big for frame or handle dodgy maybe... Not quite sure! Not a major problem, it worked, but made having a quiet toilet in the middle of the night impossible as it's really loud to shut and open the door...

The staff were really welcoming when we arrived & we got checked in quickly. The room was really nice & comfortable with everything we needed. The bar staff were really helpful & made space for us to play darts. Great selection of ciders in the bar. We had our evening meal in the pub which was very tasty. Overall this is a great place to stay and will be back.

Wi-Fi wasn't very good but wasn't an issue.

We were looking for accommodation close to Eastleigh Leisure Centre to attend a regional competition. We wanted to avoid the big chain hotels and The Dolphin had what we were looking for - driving distance to venue, good price, restaurant on site, nice looking accommodation. We were not disappointed, lovely location, nice restaurant, accommodation as advertised.

The room was very hot on arrival, but once the heating was off it cooled down. Shower room a little small, especially given the room could sleep a family of 5. A little disappointing that breakfast on a Sunday is not served until 9am, we had to set off by 8 so an early, even just continental, breakfast would have been welcome. Guests in adjoining room very noisy and had to be asked to be quieten down at 1:45 (which they did), not The Dolphin's fault.

Loved this cosy little place. The room was spacious, clean and the beds were comfy. My children loved the little loft like rooms and it was super convenient being separate from the pub and having interconnecting rooms. Would definitely recommend as a little base for Winchester. The food was also lovely and reasonably priced with great portions.

I didn’t have network for the entire stay. Which whilst it wasn’t the end of the world it’s something you expect. I wasn’t so fussed there was no WiFi but since network wasn’t great some WiFi would have been welcome. Other than that it was a comfy stay : )

This little hide out is in such a hidden beautiful property it has some real character to it which is what I love the beds were comfy, the staff what helpful and most welcoming. The food breakfast and dinner were a delight.

The bathroom was the coldest for us in the morning it definitely needs some more heating inside it. The double bed mattress and duvets and pillows felt old and new bedding is definitely required as it felt years old. However don’t be put off as it was clean and pristine and didn’t effect our stay to much as we were comfortable but room for improvement. Also the plug sockets are awkward also so be prepared to move items round to charge your phone or laptop and to make your cup of morning brew.

There wasn't anything we didn't like! It's not just a pub, it's a beautiful, friendly village pub with really good - above average for a pub - food. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room was lovely, very comfortable and much nicer than the budget places we usually stay at for race days (We went to Thruxton)! We would definitely stay again if we get the chance, we loved it.

Nothing!

It was great to find a family apartment which suited our needs so well. The staff were friendly and everywhere was very well cared for. The breakfast was excellent and the kitchen didn’t mind at all tailoring it to our needs with two small children. We’ll definitely remember The Dolphin when booking in Winchester in the future.

WiFi in the room would have been great and maybe a few extra pillows but nothing missing of great concern.
