We paid £35 for Sunday night and wasn't expecting much. We both had cars and got spaces no issue. The lady at the desk could not have been nicer and we checked in quickly. Our room was very warm and backed onto some green land with rabbits bobbing about which was nice. We had a double and a single. Usual kettle etc (no biscuits lol) TV, all clean and working order. The bathroom was workable. Shower was pretty old but God We paid £35 so. We came in and out a few times for work and food and the new lady behind the desk was also very friendly. The sleep was very quiet and the bed was great. Check out at 11am and I overstayed thinking it was 12. Almost got locked in as the door handle came off in my hand lol 😆 guy was very helpful and accommodating. Would most definitely stay here again as it was cheap, comfortable and the staff were all lovely.

Nothing. Was great stay

A good hotel is where everything goes smoothly, a great one is where there is an issue and the staff leap into action and ensure that with a minimum of fuss and great communication things are put back on track. Top job! For me the location is ideal, I realize this may not be the case for all as it's a drive to any center, but as a base to work from or explore it's very good. The beds are comfortable, the shower powerful and I'd be happy with the bed linen in my own home!

This is a venue at the budget end so any criticism has to be weighed against the price you pay. It is situated near motorway style traffic and local movements, so be aware of that though for me it's not an issue. Sure the rooms and bathrooms could be updated, but they are kept clean and tidy. Would I like it all redone with a 50% increase in price? No.

The location was good for our needs. Anne the receptionist made us feel very welcome. Nothing was too much trouble and as we were staying for a week she washed my Grandsons clothes. Great service and always a nice welcome when we came back from our day out.

More plug sockets are needed in the rooms. We had a family room. It was a nightmare trying to have a fan blowing as it was at least 33° at some points, 4 devices charging and boil the kettle with only 2 plug sockets. Anne found a double plug splitter in the end which was a massive help, but I think more modern USB plug sockets are desperately needed.

Location is great for our stay and Anne and her team were so welcoming when we arrived. I've stayed here many times now and Anne goes out of her way to make you feel so welcome. Its like going back to visit an old friend. As our stay was in December, the entrance to the hotel had beautiful festive decorations. Just shows how much the staff care about the place and guests alike. And Anne keeps her Peace Lily in the entrance in a beautiful condition.

There is a desperate need for more plug sockets in the rooms. I've probably said this before but something needs to be done about it.

This was a pitstop late at night on our way home after a two day ferry journey. The room was a little tired looking and had one or two cobwebs but otherwise the room/bathroom was clean, the bed comfortable and the pillows spot on! We experienced no noise whatsoever so both had a good nights sleep before continuing our 9 hour journey home the next day. Tea/coffee making facilities were welcome too! The man at reception was friendly and helpful. As a one night stop over, this place did the job!

It was all a little tired looking. BUT… if it was all brand new it wouldn’t have been such good value for money!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was a good size and well equipped. Services open long hours for anything you may need Perfect stop off and you do get little rabbits hopping about outside your window which is lovely

No fault of the hotel but to access areas nearby you need to keep doubling back around the A road which takes time. This results in high cost for taxi services, we chose to drive for this reason.

Room warm and spacious, TV a sensible size. Decor a little dated and tired, but clean.

Traveling for business the room does not supply adequate "Office Facilities" only x3 13A sockets available, so if you want the TV on in the background for entertainment when working, that only leaves two other sockets, and no sockets adjacent to the beds. In the Bathroom, the toilet roll holder is, to say the least a bit in your face... and cramped to the toilet.

Handy location just off the motorway. Friendly staff. Quiet place. It was nice to have a bath in the evening after a long day. Picnic benches outside the property so we had our breakfast there.

I was expecting a sofa and double bed in the room but there was a double and single bed instead. I would appreciate a little fridge in the room too. Only found one plug next to the TV so couldn't plug more electronics.

The location next to the A34 North bound is excellent for an overnight stay, and not too noisy. The Receptionist was particularly helpful as I arrived late from the evening Portsmouth ferry arrival, and she provided excellent directions. The room was comfortable, although basic but adequate for an overnight stay. The coffee/tea in the bedroom was very welcome.

The duvet was quite small for a double bed.

We didn't know that after 3 days of stay we could have 4th day for free. You have to register on their pages, if you stay long time and then will have a very good discount which we didn't get.
