OYO Hotel Mj Kingsway, Cleethorpes Seafront

Close to the promenade and beach it was clean and the shower was good nice big TV working well as was the Wi-Fi I especially liked the fact that every two or 3 days the housekeepers knocked on my door and ask what I needed they took my old towels and gave me fresh ones and also some more tea coffee etc

. The radiator wasn't working but there was a heater and it was just about ok for early March The mattress at the accommodation was a bit basic but ok,the door and lock was a bit dodgy but no real problem ,it was adequate and bear in mind if you are on foot the nearest decent shops are quite a long Trek away from the hotel

Staff very friendly

The location was perfect, the staff where lovely, the room was beautiful! Room 4! I'd definitely recommend this for a affordable couple of nights away! I'll be back. Only thing is breakfast wasn't available but everything else was perfect Thank you for a lovely stay

On the face of it OJO is an unusual mix of a hotel (it's one of an international chain) and a guest house (it's in an old house which to be honest is showing its age. However we have never been looked after better. We were originally given an upstairs room but when the manager saw how I was struggling with my mobility he offered to help us move into a downstairs room witch we gratefully accepted and made all the difference to our break in Cleethorpes.Breakfast was excellent and they had no problem giving my wife a vegetarian breakfast.

Some people have posted bad reviews, citing things like dirtiness and aggressive staff. All we can say is that we saw no evidence of this, quite the contrary in fact.

Bed, TV and drinks facilities all good. Hotel also well-situated facing the sea. Particularly good room for anyone who wants to avoid stairs! Staff all seemed friendly and helpful, and the hotel has character that makes it a bit different to other places I've stayed in, in Cleethorpes. I'd be interested to visit when the bar reopens!

Some minor improvements could easily be made - e.g. a protruding screw at the bathroom entrance and the light above the sink wasn't working.

Beds soooo comfy, everything smells spotless clean and felt very clean. The fella who works there was really helpful when I shut myself out. Managed to easily park as not right on top of the centre.

Room was a bit odd as it had no window leading to outside, just one that looked at the corridor. Could do with better lighting around mirrors for getting hair and make up done.

Was charged double,because booking.com or ovo double booked us..tried contacting you and tried contacting the hotel...Im still £101 out of pocket..expensive weekend in cleethorpes

very clean room adequate size for price I paid very comfy bed nice & warm central heating when weather was dire at start of holiday when it improved had to turn off was too hot no problem a chair would have ben nice in room tea coffee making facilities in room with kettle was good with plenty enough tea/coffee/milk very good overall.

not much just would have like a chair in the room.

Lovely owners and very nice property, comfortable rooms with everything needed

Only downside was having to go outside the property to reach a couple of the rooms as it was raining but the rooms themselves were lovely

Our stay was very comfortable, Friendly and happy staff. Loved being so close too the beach. Close too all Family entertainment !Wish we had a longer stay!
