A very friendly hotel - great to see so many staff who clearly enjoyed their job, creating a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. Ate at the restaurant for both nights of our stay - again very friendly and efficient service and very good food. Wine selection by the glass was particularly good and fairly priced. Location opposite the seafront is perfect. Plenty of parking at the hotel too. Will definitely be back.

Nothing significant.

Staff were really welcoming on arrival. Soon had us checked in to our room. Room lovely. Very spacious bathroom. The bed is probably the comfiest hotel bed I’ve ever slept in! Plenty of parking available. Breakfast lovely. Had a little wait but presume that’s because it’s cooked fresh to order. Lovely view from dining room.

Hair dryer would have been nice in room. Would have been nice at breakfast if staff came and asked more if we were ok and needed anything else as had to wait to get a drink of juice.

Perfect location right on the sea front. We have stayed before but not since the refurb- downstairs is complete and they’ve made a first class job of it. Staff are great - particular note to bar manager Andy and restaurant manager whose name we didn’t get. Fab cocktails too and breakfast was really good with excellent staff

Bathroom a little small but this is being picky!

Breakfast was great. Staff friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble.

Very warm in room 144. A fan or air conditioning would be nice due to traffic noise when windows are open. Our room was 142 which faced on to car park which was quiet and cool with the Windows open.

The location is right on the beachfront , the staff are very well trained and polite made you feel very welcome. The rooms were very well set out, we had sea view rooms that were recently modernised and were just great. The restaurant was flawless , again staff, food ,appearance of the restaurant ( including the music played ! ) was spot on. The bar lounge area again was very comfortable and well laid out. Parking is a covered area right next to the hotel rear entrance super easy, We will definitely be returning.

The hotel seems to be currently having more areas modernised, hopefully the 1st floor outside terrace area will be included in this, as it’s a great sun trap but needs some tlc. Only a small gripe the bathroom in my room was dusty on the floor which implied it hadn’t been mopped for a while, also used shower containers were in the shower, apart from this all was spot on.

The promenade location could not be better. Very safe and adequate sized car parking is excellent. Albeit it is rated 3 stars, really it should be updated to at least 4 stars because of its location and cleanliness. The staff are very kind and helpful, but I would like to pick out Darcy on the reception. She is very pleasant and accommodating. The only down point is the prices of the food and drinks. The lounge is comfortable but lager @ £6.00 per pint is too much. The restaurant is exceptional but again the food prices far too expensive. However our short stay was altogether fine.

The cost of food and drinks

Everything was good. The staff were fantastic especially Daniel in the bar. Nothing was too much trouble for him to do to make your time there enjoyable. Not only with us but with everyone. All staff were polite and helpful.

As My partner walks with a walking aid she found the two stairs before reaching our room a slight problem but she coped with my help. A grab rail would have been a great addition if they put one there for future patrons. The bed was slightly high for her to get into as she is quite short. Easy enough for a fit person but not for someone with a mobility issue. She did go to reception to ask if there was a room with a lower bed and fair play housekeeper came up with one. Yes it would have solved the problem of the bed but unfortunately had to decline as to reach it was 5 steps. We did however book an extra 3 days there and will return later in the year and book requesting a different room.

Everything was just exceptional. Our room was standard but spacious, with seating. Lovely and bright and clean and a partial sea view. Great sea views from the bar, which had any drink you could think of. The restaurant was lovely and bright and also had sea views. The breakfast was excellent. So much to choose from. There was a beautiful roof garden, where I sat in the sunshine knitting and relaxing with my husband. Finally the staff - They were all, without exception, attentive, friendly, and thoughtful. Nothing was too much for them. Excellent Ambassadors for The Kingsway Hotel. One overnight stay there was worth a week to us !!! We will return. THANK YOU TO KINGSWAY HOTEL.

Cannot think of a thing.

Stayed at the Kingsway Hotel for two nights. The hotel is definitely worth a stay. The staff were fantastic, and nothing at all ,was too much trouble The facilities available are all of a high standard. And it's always a telling sign, when the locals visit the hotel, just to enjoy the cuisine, and a few sociable drinks, in the very comfortable and pleasant atmosphere, and surroundings, of the bar areas. I would like to give a special mention to Claire & Karl, who were both totally pleasant and fully professional. I would not hesitate to use the Kingsway Hotel, the next time I am staying over and visiting Cleethorpes . Many thanks Russ
