AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester City Centre

Everything. Reception staff on booking in allowed me to change a double bed to two singles and two door keys instead of one. Room was modern, bathroom sparkling clean. Complimentary toiletries,lovely white fluffy towels. Slight issue with TV, couldn't find channels we wanted to watch as it was late and up early didn't matter. Good to see an iron and ironing board already in wardrobe. Tea coffee making, small safe and fridge. Everything you need for an overnight stay. Happy hour in bar, 4-8 I think. Happy hour, happy days. Breakfast was excellent, huge choice. I thought it was continental but sausage, bacon scrambled and boiled eggs, baked beans on offer as well. Never ever seen a hot waffle iron and ready mixed batter to make your own on any buffet anywhere. Delicious with fresh strawberries.

View out of bedroom window . Not hotels fault. Much redevelopment going on around hotel. Roads closed. Taxi ride from Piccadilly station was a bit long winded as cabbie hadn't taken into account road closures around hotel

The rooms are nice and clean, the bed was very comfy and I love abut of AC, the hotel is lovely and in a great location the breakfast was ok I’ve had Better for a hotel breakfast but it was lovely.

The only thing I would say about the hotel is that we could not get the TV to work I wish there was access to Netflix or something similar bbc I played didn’t work or YouTube or itv which was really annoying because I took my daughter on a shopping trip and thought we would have a girlie night watching films so that was a bit of a bummer, it is also very loud in this location so I wouldn’t recommend if you want some peace luckily I like to be in loud places so it didn’t bother us.

This hotel is fantastic, I think it's a bonus that it is new but such lovely interiors. Clean, modern, and well thought through. I would expect this to be a lot more expensive but it was fantastic value for money. They even upgraded our rooms and gave us a free mini bar which was amazing!! Just loved it, the bathrooms were lovely and clean. Great lighting and also fab location!!

The parking could be better as there is no parking, just local car parks which Manchester can be a nightmare sometimes but didn't put us off as it is such a good location and plenty of near by car parks.

pretty room. Nice to have a table to sit at as well with the window view was really nice to look at. Proper shower instead of a bath shower. Big bed:)

Tv connection wasn’t great. Tried logging into iPlayer on the tv and it said the connection wasn’t strong enough when we tried to play something. YouTube also kept freezing.

Nicely designed room and bathroom. Comfortable bed. Having a table and chairs is a useful bonus. Generally clean, though did come across a few hairs. Reception staff polite and friendly. Later than average checkout time (noon)

A minor cristism is that there was nowhere to hang a towel to dry. I also found it difficult to keep the room at a stable temperature. The controls could do with explanation. I couldn't get a strong mobile signal inside room, and the hotel charges extra for internet access

We did not choose the breakfast option. The staff were friendly and good. The pillows and beds were comfortable.

The location was not good for me especially if you have to take the trains out of Manchester. It is a 15-20 minute walk to Piccadilly station. The location is good for those renting a car. The other point is the lighting in the room which I found very poor. The room was not properly lit making the room dark. There were table lamps but not sufficient to light up a family room.

I really enjoyed my stay stay until I checked out. Amit was the person in charge on the day I checked out, only to find out that he used my phone to write a review that I never wrote. When I asked him what he did to my phone, he said he just matched the information on the system. I didn't understand what he meant by that until i received an email that i made a review. That's what Amit did, he used my phone to write a review when he could have asked me instead of lying to me. I hope you do something about it as this is unacceptable.

Booked a 1 night stay at this hotel. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower was amazing. In a really great location from the city centre. Room was relatively clean and quiet.

Staff weren't very welcoming and we were left waiting for a bit at reception while another guest was being checked in. Person behind the front desk reluctantly got another staff member to deal with us, who was very pleasant and made our stay more enjoyable. Personally don't think it was worth the money we paid to stay here.

This was the second time we stayed here this year and think we’ll stay here everytime we visit Manchester! The hotel itself if beautiful; the lobby is well designed (and scented) all amenities are really modern! The rooms are gorgeous too - nice dark and sleek design and a gorgeous bathroom! The TV has the standard options for Freeview as well as iPlayer and YouTube viewing etc! Definitely well worth every penny, honestly highly recommend! Location wise it’s really close to so many restaurants within walking distance and only a 10 min drive to areas like Spinningfields and Deansgate! It’s a 5 min walk from the Northern Quarter and Arndale Shopping Centre so we explored plenty of food options of a ton of bars, quirky restaurants and street food! 10/10 as always!!!

The only thing we perhaps would change is just to get thicker or firmer pillows.

(Rachael and Amit at the front desk) A friendly welcome and friendly conversations gave me a strong sense of familiarity and harmony with what your residence has to offer. All matters concerning me have been addressed, and all questions have been answered. (Param, Chris, Aurora and Danny from the hotel bar) The services were of the highest quality, and I appreciated their attention to the smallest details, friendly conversation, and willingness to accommodate all of my desires despite the busyness of the place with other customers. I am extremely grateful to them all at the AC Hotel by Marriott Manchester and will undoubtedly return here whenever I am in the city because of their gracious hospitality and service.
