We had a lovely stay at their quaint little place for a night after we visited the rose festival at Peter Beales. Check-in was smooth as well as the booking for our dinner at their pub. We all had the best sleep. The bed for our little one and the super king-size bed in our family room were very comfy. The air conditioner in the room was superb in this weather. The room was immaculately clean and spacious. A little touch such as providing a shower cup in the bathroom or climbing roses in the balcony area was impressive. I like the balcony because it was useful for our little one as a play area. We had dinner at the pub adjoining the hotel and both dishes we had (crab and roast pork chop) were superb and the price was very reasonable. The staff and the family who runs/ owns the Honingham Buck reserves more recognition because they just do everything right.

Really I can't find any fault and highly recommended this place. We will definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

We're now becoming regulars here as it never disappoints. The rooms are light, airy, comfortable and clean with a good size en-suite. Really appreciated the air-con on Saturday night as temps were in the low 20's. We had been at a wedding on Sat but the Buck had put our air-con on before we arrived so the room was lovely and cool. Great touch! The bonus with the Buck is the restaurant serving great food and beer. Lovely beer garden under a big shady tree.

Nothing, apart from air-con or fans in the restaurant which would have been nice on such a sweltering day.

Staff brilliant! Lovely little pub and really nice accommodation. Both breakfast and dinner were excellent. Great location for local attractions that we were visiting. Very nice, quiet little village. Really comfortable king size bed. Nice to have a little garden area. Loads of drawers / wardrobe space.

The sofa bed was a bit creaky. Next time I would request two camp beds and keep the sofa as a sitting area. The fire alarm light illuminated the room at night. Don't think there's anything that can be done, but maybe take an eye mask if you are particularly sensitive to light. It was impossible to shower without soaking the entire bathroom floor. It's set up as a wet room, but the screen could do with being bigger to avoid the spray and overflow from the shower area.

Fantastic staff. Room was a reasonable size with comfortable fittings. Bedding was top notch. Great parking and a lovely village to explore. Room bar the shower was really clean.

Room was clean bar the shower needing a good 15 minutes work on it... dirt between tiles and the plug didn't drain freely. Breakfast, I just got the feeling that it had been precooked then heated in the microwave... centre of Sausage and tomatos was at nuclear reactor temperature whilst the outside was cool. There was plenty of food though, presented well and arrived quickly.

We were given a really warm welcome on our arrival, and all the staff we met during on our stay were friendly and helpful. Our suite was just a few steps away from the pub and restaurant. It was well decorated and furnished, with a large en suite and patio doors to a garden with chairs and a table. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. We had booked a factory tour of Lotus which is only about 25 minutes away. The Honingham Buck was a great choice. We ate in the restaurant and were very impressed with the quality of the food. Breakfast was included and is great value. Very impressed.

Everything, we booked literally 35 minutes before checking in. The Hotel phoned us to check bed arrangements as we were a party of 5. Stranded removals firm we said, with nothing but the clothes on our backs. No problem said the Honingham, even sorted us toothbrushes and chargers for phones!! The staff were lovely, the meal in the bar was delicious washed down with a few drinks. The beds were comfy and the rooms immaculate. We had a lovely breakfast and all in all were delighted that we ended up stranded in this lovely little part of the world. Thanks Guys xx

Nothing, honestly we would not fault a thing.

I had a lovely overnight stay and slept really well on the comfortable bed. The room was clean and a good temperature, with air conditioning to allow you to easily and relatively quickly adjust it to your preferences. It seems like a great place to visit Norwich and the surrounding area from and they have a very cheerful singing chef and make a lovely breakfast.

The heated towel rail in the bathroom could do with a thermostat as it was very hot in there, but keeping the bathroom door shut it didn't affect the bedroom. There is the green light in the ceiling that others have mentioned. I believe this is related to the fire alarm. It didn't bother me much, but sleeping masks were provided for guests who wanted to use them.

Staff were very helpful and very friendly, I would say they made our stay as there was an initial mix up over the room we had booked. Food was very high quality and consistant, and promptly served , especially breakfasts. The hotel was conveniently situated for access to the A47 and getting around Norfolk.

I was expecting a larger room,although ours was certainly not the smallest. The noise very early morning, 5.30 onwards, from delivery vans and cars on the gravel right outside the bedrooms woke me every morning, oh and reversing horns! Our bed was a little too soft, a firmer bed would have been much more supportive, stop the aching back!

my husband and I stayed as it was our wedding anniversary; on arrival we were greeted by the owner and escorted to our room where we discovered a congratulations card and also rose petals on the bed in the shape of a heart.. such a lovely gesture. the room was exceptionally clean, beautifully laid out with tea, coffee facilities and biscuits. our patio was very private with a table and two chairs with a beautiful view of the garden and mature trees. breakfast was exceptional with a full English and cooked to perfection 10/10

i would suggest that the bed was a little hard but everyone had their own preferred mattress and the patio area could be made pretty with more flowers/shrubbery

The room was lovely. I wish we could have arrived earlier to make use of the little table and chairs just outside the room that led into the quiet pub garden. There was a good choice for breakfast and I loved the vegetarian option which was more imaginative than just full english with vegetarian options. Situated in a lovely quiet little village and the 'reception' staff were really helpful. We would definitely come back again if we were in the area.

There were ants in the bedroom !
