Morley Hayes Hotel

The room was tastefully decorated and planned, clean, plenty of storage too. The bathroom was a joy (I loved the toiletries, the shower was wonderful and the heated mirror was a delight). The breakfast was exceptional - we all had a cooked breakfast - seriously amazing! We only had a short visit, so we didn't have time to use other facilities, but everywhere looked nice. Easy parking, too.

The duvet was a bit too warm - I kept waking up and having to move the duvet off/on. Hanging the hair dryer (in a bag) off the top of the ironing board inside the wardrobe was a bit weird, and hard to find unless you read the guest information book. Trying to find which switch turned on which lamp was a bit of a faff.

Lovely, clean room in a beautiful place! Staff were fab, we stayed following a work Xmas party do and Matt on reception was great. Breakfast staff also very attentive. Nice touch with the personalised note in thw room when you arrive. Beautiful festive feeling too, every building and the grounds are made to look lovely

Choice of late night sandwiches/room service could be better; especially with parties and Xmas do's going on. Breakfast was nice but as a personal choice, we weren't keen on the sautéed potatoes.

Lovely location with our room terrace overlooking the golf course. Our room was large and well appointed, maybe a bit too much desk furniture in the room. All the staff we interacted with were extremely friendly and helpful. Drinks in the bar were reasonably priced for a hotel.

Breakfast for one of us wasn’t great, I would have expected better for the prices charged, my bacon was dried up and virtually inedible. The other breakfast of poached eggs and smoked salmon was very good with perfect eggs and a decent amount of salmon

The generous room facilities were great and wonderful to have a bath and shower with lots of high pressure hot water. The room was incredibly comfortable with wonderful views over the golf course. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was brilliant with great food and very attentive waiting staff. Breakfast in the morning was also wonderful using great quality produce. We'll definitely be back over the coming months and years.

The only possible thing we would want to improve is the privacy on the balcony with some sort of screen so you can sit out and enjoy the view without overlooking your neighbours.

My wife and I have been using MorleyHayes hotel for the past 10 years and we have always found it to be excellent and it meets our every ne4ed

The dinner menu was a little more restricted than in the past, but the quality of the food was first class, We were disoppointed to see the small assembly room next to the dining room had been changed into another eating room. Some of the atmosphere has been lost

I stayed over in the hotel after a round of golf in the afternoon,then attending a wedding reception in the evening.The hotel staff were very friendly & helpful.The breakfast was excellent. The room was very nice ,with a small patio area.Would definitely stay again. .

The golf was rather expensive £37 per round ,& no discount was offered even though we were attending a wedding & staying in the hotel.

Best vegetarian breakfast ever. The room was very well thought out. I wish I had experienced such well equipped rooms when I used to travel for business.

Maybe the bathroom could do with a little bit of TLC. just a little bit of maintenance of the grout and it would have been perfect.

Had a meal at the restaurant, my girlfriend meal was 10 out 10, as of my was very different. When mentioned and shown the staff, only the reply was, thanks for letting us know, we wouldn't know if you didn't say. No apology, I just have to accept that. Not good at all

Had afternoon tea, Michelle was a very cheerful waitress. Enjoyed evening meal, plenty of selection at reasonable prices.

Room 203 looks over to the gardening section of tractors etc. perhaps some screening of bushes, trees would help. side view of golf course.

Exceptional service from the moment you walk through the door! As an executive housekeeper myself I have very high expectations whenever I visit another hotel, and Morley Hayes exceeded those standards. I stayed in the Superior suite with balcony area, and the room was very reasonable for the price range. Pleasant staff, room furnished and cleaned to a high standard, comfortable night's sleep, and a delicious breakfast to end! Special thanks to your team.
