We had a quadruple room for 3 of us & took our dog Staff were very helpful & friendly! Got parked right outside the front at 4pm, paid for 2 hours & then free form 6pm until 9am the next morning Nice size room, warm, comfy double bed Great location right up on the harbour, but away from the noise of the pubs...perfect!

Bunk beds weren't as comfy as maybe they could be Room was clean, but there was a tissue still under the bunk bed that was just missed in the clean. Not a problem though, our dog retrieved it No breakfast included, so we went to the little ships restaurant instead with a limited menu options.

Staff very friendly and great views of the harbour. We arrived early morning and although check in wasn't until 4pm, we were greeted by a lovely young man (Matt?) who offered to take our luggage up to our room and gave us directions where to park for free. There is parking right outside the hotel but this is metered (free after 6pm).. Hotel is dog friendly. We were here for a gig at Ramsgate music hall so hotel was in a great location and a 10 min walk to the venue. Plenty of pubs and places to eat, wetherspoons on the beach with lovely views. Eew ould definately stay here again.

Spacious room. Great location. Lots of communal spaces.

It was a bit odd to find the front door locked and no doorbell to ring. We had arrived early; as traffic wasn't so busy. We rang the number on the sign and was told no access until 4pm. Then, the room would be available. We had booked a car parking spot and asked if we could park there, and visit the town. The reception said that was ok. We just found it a bit odd not to get access into the hotel to ask about the car parking directly.

The mattress and pillows.. Choice of decor.

We were in the second part of the hotel. It might have been better if in main building. No tea bags in the room. £200 is a dreadful amount of money to spend on what turned out to be a small room. Complementary breakfast or something should have been part of the extra experience. We also spent a lot of money in the Little Ship. We had a wonderful meal but again I just feel this is all too business like rather than the sense of hospitality I have experienced elsewhere.

The location on the cliff top esplanade was perfect with spectacular views over the harbour. It is located 10 minutes walk from the harbour and town centre. The room, whilst small, it was ok in respect of comfort and cleanliness with basic tea and coffee making facilities. The communal lounge area was well finished and had a welcoming feel.

I had a room on the top (3rd floor front) and I was access that this floor is not really accessible if you frail or have difficulty with stairs. Having stayed here before I was aware of this so not a problem.

Excellent location and our room was superb (I think we had the best room in the hotel with a super balcony overlooking the harbour and a nice comfy bed).

Not much to complain about at all (the room was excellent and staff very friendly) - only that on the hottest week of the year they only provided a (very good quality) duvet so we had to sleep under towels. We would suggest that a sheet is provided.

The location is just right. Overlooking the harbour, 5 min walk to the marina shops, restaurant and bars. We had a garden view room which was a nice size. The room and bathroom was clean, we found the shower a bit small and a little dated. The rooms and the property is so sweet, there are books everywhere for every taste and art work too. The staff are friendly and the whole experience makes a vibe that feels like you are guests a a friend's house. The staff recommend local attractions and are around to have a chat too - it's delightful! Also, we understood the hotel was full and we occasionally heard and saw other guests but it felt like just us and not busy.

Everything was great for us. There was one minor thing...we felt the shower could be updated. It still did the job though!

Friendly staff, homely and well thought out communal areas with some nice finishing touches to include tealight candles in the evening. Lovely small walled garden with sweet jasmine. Great sea views from communal area.

The wet room. Our room was on the ground floor & although ideal for elderly/disabled guests the water after showering didn't drain away properly even after using the provided floor 'paddle'. Also room was directly behind reception area & although not overly noisy we could hear staff and incoming guests. We enjoyed our stay but would choose a different room next time.

Quirky hotel dating back to 1799 that is perfectly adequate for couples. Stunning views over the harbour. Slightly away from the town centre, so quieter on Fri/Sat nights. Short 10 min walk into town for dinner. UK's biggest Wetherspoons a short walk nearby. Free parking around the corner at Spencers Square tennis courts.

On the 3rd floor, the WiFi is not great. Not is the TV signal.

The location was next to the harbour and a majority of the attractions. The staff was extremely helpful and told us all we needed to learn about the place. There were multiple nearby restaurants. Overall a good stay.

The place was on a hill so the view was good, but not the journey up the hill. The wifi connection was weak but bearable. The room came with a fan but the temperature in the room was still hot. Also they did't provide meals including breakfast lunch and dinner but the service made up for it.
