Great value for money, they keep everywhere super clean, food was fantastic and clearly home cooked which is so rare these days. Staff were wonderful and friendly. Brilliant for families and dogs too!! Rooms were simple but pleasant, shower and bath were clean with the water able to get hot and stay consistent temperatures! Beds were relatively comfortable too. All in all a pleasant stay.

Food only served evenings wed - sun but website menus suggest breakfast options & no mention of that online so perhaps just update the information if increasing service times isn't an option. Food was so lovely Wednesday night it's just a shame we couldn't eat there more often! Also- the rooms get very hot so might be worth looking at some fans or Aircon.

The room was very comfortable with tea and coffee making facilities. The beds were comfortable too .We were given our own key to come and go as we pleased without going through the bar

The car park was quite crowded the first night and the second night we had to park on the road as there wasn’t enough room for us to park . However that shows that business was good so shouldn’t complain . A little noisy on the Friday night but quietened down as soon as the pub closed .

Liked: STAFF: Continuously helpful, recomended a restaurant on our arrival (called'Foreign Muck') and was one of the best on our whole holiday. LOCATION: Amazing, on approach, from East, you see Brunel's last masterpiece a stunning bridge, and you stay in a pub just walking distance from it called the Brunel Inn, perfect :).

It was hot and uncomfortable to sleep, however, that was the luck of the draw, for what we paid we couldn't expect airconditioning :).

The location was in the town near shops which was good and it was easy to get to Plymouth from Saltash. The room was basic but clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and listened to any concerns we had.

The door to our room was faulty and it needed repairing and the sink taps were leaking. These things weren't repaired during our visit. We did inform the staff who thanked us and said they would get them repaired ASAP after we left. No parking was available in their carpark on the first day of our stay, luckily a neighborhood carpark allows the Inn managers to use their carpark for guests if the Inn carpark is full

The inn is in a great location with lots of parking, I enjoyed going for runs in the morning in the area. The staff were very friendly, the the beers at the bar were delightfully fresh and tasty (coming in from belgium I have on occasion have had my doubts on english ales, but this helped me change my mind) the music in the bar was a bit too loud though but it changed the next night (I thought it had it's charm so I didn't raise this with the staff). i never stayed at an inn before so i had my doubts, but this was very nice and comfortable. It was a bit worn down in some parts, but the place was nevertheless clean and gave us the rest we needed from our busy travels.

A bit worn down in some small areas (a bit of rust here, door way looked like it was partly repaired after a break), but this didn't affect anything in terms of comfort.

We have dog with us and she stayed for free.... Hotel was in the centre and Great location to see beautiful bridges and harbour... Close to many lovely beaches ( Looe,Polperro and Plymouth), Adrenaline Quarry Park very near. Lots of freedom as to go and comeback to hotel... excellent

The bathroom was outdated and needs work. Otherwise great money for the value 👌

Excellent location, very good price for one night, parking was easy and free, easy to find, really helpful and lovely staff. I liked the paintings/pictures in the room and had key to side door so not time restricted in any way. Bed was super comfortable.

Would have liked a fridge in the room and was a bit noisy until after the pub closed, but still managed to go to sleep ok.

The room was comfortable, quite large and clean. We had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay again if we were in the area.

There was the noise from a fan or a cistern filling or something similar, on and off during the night which would have kept us aware if we didn't have ear plugs.

The new owners were very friendly and accommodating. Food was very good.

The rooms are a little bit dated although I understand the new owners are planning to address that. Having said that, given the very reasonable price I still believe we had excellent value for money.
