Leonardo Hotel Plymouth - Formerly Jurys Inn

We have stayed here several times and are always impressed with courteous, helpful and friendly staff right across the hotel. It is perfectly located for our needs - close to our son's home and within easy walking distance of everywhere we wish to go. Easy to access from the our journey route and into Cornwall. We think your breakfasts are very nice indeed in a pleasant environment - food is always well topped up and it was nice this time that the plates for hot food were kept really nice and warm too! The shower is always powerful and easy to control.

We wish there was easier access to and from the car park, or even a separate car park for hotel guests. The hotel itself is now looking worn and in need of renovation which I believe is planned with the new ownership. We had a very slow water flow from our bathroom tap.

What an amazing suprise I received when I got there the hotel staff and my partner had arranged drinks for me in my room in on arrival. As it was my birthday. I had a card and some prosecco over ice and a card from the reception staff which was really thoughtful. We then had a drink at the hotel bar which was reasonablie priced and went to the barcode which was a short walk to nandos. We then had a romantic evening and and an amazing breakfast and walked into Plymouth done some shopping checked out.fhis is our second stay within a month we will deffo be back we have fallen in love with this hotel.eveeyone is so friendly and is so central to everything we love. lovely spacious room, upgraded to superior king from superior double, given vouchers for complimentary drink, breakfast was amazing and so much choice, £12.50 if booked the day before or £14 on the day, seems expensive but same as going out to eat on the Barbican and much more choice. location is ideal, view from 5th floor was amazing. bed was super comfy. Usually stay in travelodge but would definitely stay here as price was cheaper!!

Leaving!!! , could get used to having clean fresh towels every day and room smelling amazing after being out visiting family and walking hundreds of miles 😁😁😁

The hotel was great easy access to the lively harbour area could easily walk round the whole harbour in about an hour dozens of eating places

The service at the bar often waited 15 minuits to be served the ordering and payment method was so long and drawn out the staff were ok it was the system which took so long 3 trips to till for each transaction even when paying by card. Management needs to look into this go to weatherspoons and see how easy it can be. Just to let you know we saw several people give up and walk away. Shame about this everything else at the hotel was perfect

Couldn't be a better location, very easy to get to most places of interest in Plymouth. Very comfy room. Really helpful staff, tried their best to locate my phone which I'd lost. Chap took his time, made a couple of calls and then took my number so that he'd be able to get in touch if he found it. Phone turned up, friend found it but really appreciated the effort.

Genuinely can't think of anything for this class/price of hotel. And I've stayed in a bunch. I guess that, if I was being picky, the breakfast/bar space is a little small and uninteresting but then there's plenty of nearby entertainment anyway. As a crashpad, it's great value and exactly what I was after.

The room was of a decent size, bathroom was small but well maintained. toiletries were lovely. Location is excellent. close to shopping mall and harbour. Staff were all really friendly and helpful, from housekeeping to staff on reception to restaurant.

We were there on a busy weekend. Went for breakfast at 9.30am and food had run out. it was being replenished but as it was so busy, it would disappear before you could get to it. Staff were doing their best to top up but not enough staff to cover how busy they were. Hot breakfast was really oily.

The breakfast was great and the location was perfect for walking everywhere - we were able to walk to Home Park for a gig, it’s about 35 mins walk. The staff were also really friendly and helpful 😊 The bed was very comfortable we just couldn’t sleep due to being hot! (See below!)

The room was far too hot. The air conditioning was inadequate and hard to use. Once it reached the temp (which couldn’t be set below 19 degrees) it turned off and wouldn’t automatically restart once the temperature went up, so we had to keep turning it on during the night. The duvet was far to thick so we ended up just being too hot!!

Very friendly staff, clean room and lovely facilities. We were given voucher for a free drink, Costa Coffee and 10% off food and beverages which was much appreciated and not expected, so thank you! Breakfast was delicious.

The noise from the town bar / nightclub could be heard from our room and was so loud into the early hours of the morning. We were told we had a cosy quiet room and we didn’t. Fridge not cold enough in the room but still a bonus to have one. The buffet breakfast doesn’t cater enough for the size of the hotel. The food is self serving and is available in a small buffet area on small plates. Lovely food but just not enough available, causing large queues at times. Lovely seating area too. The bar didn’t have enough staff and feel that table service would be a nice addition rather than waiting in a queue again to be served.

Room was a great size, good bed, bathroom. Adequate coffee/tea making facilities( no biscuits!!). The hotel bar was warm and friendly-but like all hotels prices were high! Parking was near but still stairs and a 3 minute walk away( not nice in the rain).

Took a while at reception to book in( almost as if they weren't expecting us) receptionist said it was something to do with Booking.com!!! Parking was £10-if you walked up 2 flights of stairs to the hotel and then back again with your display ticket!! Normal price was £11- not a very good reduction. We didn't have breakfast-it seemed expensive on top of the room price.

Room was comfortable, bed was comfortable, I requested a room near lift,as I'm a disabled lady,on day of arrival, I was told my room wasn't nr lift, I was given a coffee free of charge, for there mistake,hadn't finished my coffee, & room was not beside lift, about 5doors away, I accepted it as I was tired from my journey.

On day of travelling I phoned hotel, to make sure they had read my email, about being nxt to lift,nobody answered the phone, I asked at hotel, why nobody answered phone, I was told, they were busy.
