The Little Angel0

The Little Angel is in an ideal position, just a few minutes walk to the harbour , shops, bars and restaurants. it was exceptionally clean, warm and comfortable, the bed was lovely with lovely bedding on. The bathroom was lovely with a good shower and lovely clean white towels, which smelt lovely. There’s a lovely breakfast basket with cereals, croissants, biscuits and milk, orange, jams and butter in the fridge. It’s above the pub which is extremely dog friendly and welcoming, staff were lovely and would chat to you. The outside area is lovely too to sit and enjoy a drink or a coffee.

Because it’s over a pub there is a little bit of noise and our dog is very sensitive to noise so would bark if she heard movement and you could hear water in the bedroom in the morning going through the pipes. we still slept extremely well so it wasn’t that bad.

Breakfast isn’t provided however there was a basked packed full of goodies in the room, pastries, cereals, fruit/nut bars plus lots of other goodies, also a mini fridge with milk, water and orange juice, plus plenty of tea and coffee

Loved everything about the place, we have two dogs and this place was perfect

Really modern spacious living room and bedroom and the dog was made welcome too Nice lively vibe being able to make use of the pub / bar as the accommodation is above Complimentary drinks cereals etc was a nice bonus very welcome touch!! Great location easy walk into town / harbour could see the harbour from the bedroom window

Could really do with a proper fridge the small fridge/cooler didn’t keep very cool

Loved everything about our recent stay at The Little Angel. The standard of the quaint and quirky one bedroom apartment above our favourite Whitby pub is exceptional. Impressed by the many attentions to detail - good quality matching furniture, co-ordinated soft furnishings, decor, bathroom fittings, Corby hairdryer, etc. Ridiculously comfortable king sized bed in the gorgeous loft space bedroom. Liked the breakfast and snack basket and mini fridge containing bottled water, milk and orange juice. You are encouraged to ask a member of the very friendly staff if any breakfast items need replenishing. Our request was quickly dealt with. It is lovely to spend as much or little time as you choose in the apartment. Spotlessly clean and in a great location too. We will certainly be back! The Little Angel is a great pub. Very efficient staff and friendly clientele. Good, reasonably priced drinks. Once in the apartment, we weren't disturbed by any noise from the bar or street. We had a great Friday night in the pub with DJ Don playing a good mix of tunes. Everyone up for a good evening!!!

Nothing to dislike.

Very good value for money. The space was huge and really cosy. The room is situated above a friendly pub so there is a bit of noise until the pub's closing time. This suited us just fine though as we enjoyed the liveliness of the area! Amazing views out of the bedroom window as well. Would definitely stay again!

Pretty good, there was a little breakfast bar and plenty of continental options to choose from. A nice selection in the fridge. Orange, Milk, jams and butter and a couple of bits to take for a lunchtime snack.

The coffee maker was a little difficult to fill from the bathroom sink tap - but not a biggie.

The Little Angel is a great pub, place to stay and is ideally located, 10 minutes walk to the main tourist areas. The only room available is split level with living room and shower room on the lower level, bedroom on the upper level, rooms were a lot larger than we thought we had booked. Loads of additions included in the room when we arrived, mini fridge with orange juice, water & milk, there were quasonts provided and also a blindfold and ear plugs (the seagulls can get rather loud).

It's not that I didn't like the spiral stair access from the lower floor up to the bedroom as we were able to climb without any problems but I could imagine this would be difficult for the elderly, less mobile people staying, perhaps this should be outlined in the description.

Conveniently above a beautiful beer garden which meant we could relax without having to travel far to the hotel. Staff at the bar were so friendly and the room itself was unbelievable for the price- a living room & breakfast area with an amazing complimentary breakfast hamper, a clean bathroom & a cozy bedroom on a separate floor.

No complaints! Happy with everything :)

Excellent location right in the middle of town and just around the corner from harbour… breakfast was really good continental one with a good choice of cereal, croissant, cheese, jam, juices and biscuits/crisps which were replenished daily. The accommodation was spotless and done out to a really high standard

I actually couldn’t fault it, we were there for the Motown weekend and there were DJ’s playing music all weekend so suited us, but maybe if that’s not your thing it may be a little noisy.

Everything, the location was perfect and the apartment was lovely and spacious, clean and the view was running from the room. Loved the breakfast basket that was supplied - perfect trip, we enjoyed it so much
