Best Western Park Crest Inn

Check-in was super fast and the front desk was able to accommodate my request for a ground floor room. The room had updated flooring and finishes. The breakfast was wonderful (waffles, eggs, sausage, tater tots, yogurt, fruit, coffee, etc). Staff was super friendly and kind. Plenty of parking even though the hotel seemed fairly full.

Room darkening curtains didn’t totally block out the exterior lighting at night (light comes through the bottom of the curtain). Shower head/pressure okay (but water was nice and hot!).

I have stayed here multiple times in recent years and have always had a good experience. Very friendly staff at the front office. Room has always been very clean and pretty comfortable, even for a picky light sleeper like me. The pool/spa is a nice touch for an evening relaxation after a long day of exploring nature in one of my favorite getaway spots. LOVE Monterey - and I really like this location for walkability to dining, the aquarium, etc. Granted, I love walking for miles, so your opinion on walkability may differ from mine. They were gracious enough to let me park all day on after check out, as well as part day before I checked in. Extremely handy for coast exploration, aquarium, and eating and drinking out.

There was nothing within the control of the staff that I didn't like - some neighbors were a bit noisy, but even that was better than many such properties. The hard boiled eggs in the breakfast bag (COVID times!) were not actually fully cooked, but again, they couldn't know that. Great staff here, nice tidy property.

The location was ideal and it was really clean. The staff was super friendly and the rooms were well maintained.

The walls are paper thin. We had a quiet first night but then we got some noisy neighbors upstairs who sounded like they were moving furniture and letting their kids run sprints back and forth. additionally, the parking was a bit awkward for a large vehicle as there was a steep yet short driveway we had to go down to access the parking close to the room and the exit from that additional parking was also narrow with a palm tree that needs a good trimming.

The room was a two bedroom, perfect for my family size, the best part was the breakfast! The lady there was so cheerful that made the entire hotel breakfast. It was homemade and you get the entire hot breakfast unlike any other hotel. The waffles were amazing ! The entire staff was super family oriented and down to earth and I had a long conversation with the manager at the end checking out and she was the sweetest! Great vibes great hotel and comfy beds and pillows. Great view from top floor. I will definitely be back

Friendly on the budget. Ample parking and decent rooms.

Bed was squeaky and the air con was very loud for the size of the room. Taps were a tiny bit leaky and the trickling of water from the shower head made a lot of noise when dropping onto the tap. Window was open when I got in so the room was a bit cold and the sheets were a little thin so was a tiny bit cold during the evening. Probably be less of an issue if the heating/air con wasn't so loud or if the visit was in a milder time of the year.

I have had such a horrible experience in the past with lots of hotels in Monterey. But this one went over my expectations. 1. Let me start by saying the cleanest room I seen in a long time. 2. The Staff omg... The Staff, Excellent!! Managers I'm so bad in names but there's 2 Hispanic Ladies that run the front desk. What a service!! I was really Impressed!! The area itself is awesome close to everything. We stayed 2 nights. Pool area and hot tub is clean small but nice. Full breakfast very well organized the cafeteria is small but you can also seat outside very nice setting. I would recommend this place anytime!! I HAVE THIS PLACE MARKED IN MY PHONE, WILL DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN SOON!!

The Bed bottom frame is like metal all around the boxspring and every time you seat on the bed and you hit that part it makes a loud noise😵‍💫 they had the rooms remodeled but bathroom all tho it was super clean it needs a little remodeled too.

Breakfast was great. Heated pool was so nice especially in this area where it gets a little chilly we were still able to have a great time.

Breakfast room was a little small and everyone climbing over each other and there was only one worker running around doing everything which I felt bad for during rush but he was awesome. Also, no gym was a bit different compared to most other best westerns I've stayed at

The room was clean and fairly good in size (we are a family of 5). It is located in a street with many hotels, not walking distance from downtown Monterey but fairly close (less than 5 minutes drive). They include breakfast that you pick up at the front desk and to be honest it was better than I expected. We only stayed for a night this time, but I would definitely stay there again in the future.

The bathroom in our room (the larger one with 2 king beds) didn't have an exhaust fan and after a shower the entire bathroom (including the floor) was wet. After 3 kids and 2 adults using the shower things were quite messy. That's the only observation, but the hotel in general is pretty good.

Location is good. Close enough to walk to the waterfront, dining, attractions. Also right next door to the Del Monte Mall (cinemas, dining and shopping). If you leave the car at the hotel, you don't have to hunt for parking and pay for parking wherever you go. Room is a good size, has a number of upgrades, and is of a good size. A great value for money.

Room configuration is like a motor lodge (all rooms face the parking). The highway is not far away, so while the street is quiet you always get a clown with their loud muffler rolling down the highway.

The check-in and check-out process was very smooth and with excellent service. The breakfast was so good! I loved the coffee and the wide selection of foods. The breakfast was also kept well stocked, and was cleaned and refilled very often. The location was great, just a short drive to Fisherman's Wharf. This is my go-to hotel for all Monterey visits, and will be the first place I recommend when asked where to stay!
