The Setting Inn Napa Valley

Beautiful large room which is very well presented, two seating areas and a generous bathroom with dual vanity, big bathtub and shower! We also had a balcony with tables and chairs which overlooked the vineyard. The property had communal outdoor areas plus a lounge (with free snacks) and a small fitness area. Bikes were available for free too. We loved the Bouchon bakery breakfast delivery too. I asked the manager if he could source a birthday cake for my husband which he was able to do so that was a great touch too!

Not really within walking distance of anything- either drive, cycle or uber!

There are so many things I liked that I can't list them all. It's really nice to see a place where they really spent a lot for a high quality equipments. For the first time I saw someone equip a room with really expensive, which can be seen from the very entrance (handle) to blinds, cosmetics, snacks and many more. Everything is high quality.

I understand that I asked for something non-standard and difficult, but I did not receive any response to my email. It would have been appreciated if I were informed that it couldn't be done. Without any response, I felt like my inquiries were being ignored.

Excellent, central location close to Yountville and plenty of beautiful wineries. Great pastries from Bouchon Bakery are delivered to your door every morning. Rooms are comfortable, clean, and well equipped with excellent bedding, Bose speakers, automatic blinds, coffee makers, a kitchenette, bathtub, shower, dual vanities, a private terrace, and fireplace. You can play lawn games, drink wine, and relax on the yard area and barn. Overall an excellent stay. Will be back.

Not a deal breaker at all, but some staff members are friendlier than others. A smile and a “welcome” upon arrival would’ve been nice.

The bed was so comfortable. The room was large with a balcony and sitting area. We ended up in town about 2 hours before check-in and called ahead, they were so kind and could accommodate an earlier check-in time. Breakfast was left outside the door each morning at 8 am and was from Bouchon Bakery. The Inn was small and super quiet. Staff was available between 7-7 every day or by phone if needed. Snacks were set out in the afternoon. The "setting" overlooked a small vineyard. In the morning, you could see the hot air balloons. The inn is next to a trail and makes it easy to walk every morning.

The Inn is near a busy road (not next to it), which is a plus, some may not like that. The windows are well insulated so you don't hear it, but if you are out on the balcony, you will hear it. We loved everything about this place and will return again and want to visit the Setting Inn in Willamette Valley now too.

I loved the location. We were upgraded to the cottage and we loved the vineyard views right outside our window. One morning we were able to watch hot air balloon being launched over the valley.

The only minor complaint was with the bath tub. The soaking tub is an amazing feature, but the faucet and water flow did not support the size of the tub. It took over 45 minutes to fill the tun enough to have a soak and by the time there was enough water, it was beginning to cool off. Also, the plug for the tub was not very secure, allowing water to seep out while filling up. Very minor issue in an otherwise lovely property

Staff was super kind and welcoming. Everything was incredibly clean. Rooms were spacious and our room had a large porch overlooking the vineyards. Bouchon delivery was a huge highlight in the morning. The bathroom was spacious with a his and hers type of sink, a bathtub, and a huge shower. Hard wood floors as well which are such a bonus and a very comfortable bed!

Can’t say anything really honestly.

Exceed expectations in every detail. It’s the first hotel in our US trip that provides both coffee machine and a real kettle for tea lover! Welcome snacks, cold and room temperature water, spacious room, a note from hotel manager, check-out at 12, no disturbing for breakfast etc. Bed is super cosy, we did have 11 hours sleep! Lots of photography spots and nice common area.

Only one thing, driving is the way to get to and from the hotel. It means that one of us cannot drink if we went out for a meal.

We loved, EVERYTHING. As soon we arrived, we loved how situated the inn was, tucked within the vineyards of Napa. The house was super cute as well as the lounge in the backyard. The grass were nicely cut. Everything was well put together, and clean. Clean, clean, clean. The highlights of our stay was the lovely staff, and especially Dave. Very accommodating, and very welcoming. Things I had requested was immediately taken care of promptly. Communication with the staff, before or after our stay was top-notch. The other highlight was of course our room. We got the Deluxe King and everything was perfect. Perfectly clean and thoughtfully laid, and set up. I would recommend The Setting Inn to anyone who wants an unforgettable stay, whilst making memories during their stay in Napa. A true gem!

That I didn't book a longer stay because I loved our stay here.

it was clean and very cute interiors!

the staff where stand off ish apart from the lady who checked me out who was very nice. the room rate every steep for a simple room and breakfast from fancy bakery. I was also charged 50 dollars on my account at check in and when I queried it the lady who checked us in said this would be refunded back but it turns out to be neck check.

WE LOVED OUR STAY AT THE INN! The breakfast was great and the in-room coffee made it perfect. Even if the Inn was fully sold out it felt like we were the only ones there. The common shared patio was perfect. We really didn't need to leave. It was all relaxing.

It would be nice to have regular "half and half" creamer. Not a fan of fake Coffemate
