Stahlecker House Inn

Very pleasantly surprised by the inn - very comfortable stay and felt just like home. Shared living room and dining area with small tables. Coffee and hot water for tea and snacks/fruit for refreshers. Water and small refrigerator in room. Bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. Situated in a cul-de-sac of a residential area with another inn next door. Free parking. No breakfast but we always prefer to get bunch at local restaurants and there is no short of options in the wine country.

A little noisy early in the morning when housekeeping arrived. Our room was right by the living area. Could have slept in a little longer.

This is a lovely large house with several guest rooms, but guests have access to a large living room, dining room, food prep space, and gorgeous back yard. The house is in a quiet residential area and is a short drive away from bustling downtown Napa. Coffee and tea are available 24/7. There is a microwave to heat your food. This is a great place from which to base your Napa Valley excursion as Napa town is large enough to have numerous good restaurants and is a short 30' or less drive to some of the best wineries. The heater was not functioning well as the fan blew so hard that it cooled the air. But the duvet and blankets were so thick that it was very warm at night.

We rented 3 rooms. We love how clean the house is. The common areas are beautiful. The rooms are big enough, the beds in The Garden room, Royal oak room and Cabernet suote were all comfortable. Nice to a have a refrigerator and some water and soda provided in the rooms. Theres 2 Keurigs with coffee in the common area of the kitchen. Theres different teas, creamers, sugar, granola bars, madelines for breakfast and dkfferent types of chips for snacks. Wine glasses provided. Rob the owner is very nice and he usually comes in at 10pm to turn the lights off and the music in the common rooms. There were extension cords on the side table for multiple outlets. Blankets are nice and warm. Theres also a fireplace for decor and can be turned on for heat. Airconditioing was strong enough.

I heard that the Cabernet suite sofa bed is getting old and very uncomfortable. And yes i agree, there needs to be a mattress topper or buy another sleeper sofa. You can already feel the springs and wires of the bed.

A very interesting and eclectic home, many lovingly displayed collections of photos, books, and other memorabilia. Peaceful setting on a creek, deer occasionally wandering through for a drink. Immaculately clean and well provisioned with snacks, drinks, and bowls of fruit. The location is 5 minutes from downtown Napa. Sonoma is less than a 20-minute drive. We would definitely like to return soon!

No dislikes - everything we needed was provided.

The room is clean. Had a great trip soaking tub.

Seemed from the pictures to be more rural setting, but it’s right in the middle of a subdivision. No ice. Zero direct communication with the owners. In fairness, they did warn us that it was pretty much us on our own. The bed was high centered, and we both had to sleep close to the middle in order to prevent ourselves from rolling out in the night. We had the Marilyn Monroe room.

Ron's home was cozy and just what we wanted for our Napa getaway. Easy contactless check in. The rooms are clean and just as pictured. We had the Garden Room and our other family members had the Hepburn Room which was just right for 3 adults. The common areas were well kept and inviting. This is a place where I will be returning to. So happy to have come across this lovely Inn and to have met Ron!

Really cool inn with a vintage/mid-century modern flair - beautiful outdoor setting and great indoor common areas for hanging out, reading, having a drink - you could also get take out and bring back to dining area. Stayed in the suite adjacent to main house, very nice, roomy. Coffee, fruit, snacks. In a quiet residential neighborhood. Ron is a nice host. Would stay here again.

"Sofa bed" in the suite is not really good for an adult, maybe ok for a child; so they kindly refunded us for the 3rd person charge.

No breakfast but a lovely outdoor terrace where we ate something we purchased nearby. There was a great machine for coffee and tee and nice snacks. Very quiet location and exceptionally clean. Liked it was near downtown Napa. Glad we had a car to drive over for dinner.

We loved this property, the room was clean and beds were comfortable. It is located in a quaint neighborhood that is quiet. We had deer visit the property just before sunset. The owner is extremely friendly, warm. and welcoming. We will be back for an extended stay.
