Barefoot Bay Resort Motel

This resort is in the absolute perfect location! It is within walking distance to everything! We did not even rent a car for our trip. We Ubered to/from the airport and to a Phillies spring training game. Other than that, we did not need a vehicle at all. There is a Walgreens right next door with a liquor store in it. A marina across the street with great restaurants and convenience of booking fishing trips, dinner cruises, etc. Tons of great restaurants and night life!! We will definitely be back!

All rooms should have either a box fan or oscillating fan. The air conditioner is in an odd spot and the bed blocks the air from cooling the room. Lois at the front desk let us borrow her oscillating fan and it worked perfectly to cool the room.

Could not fault anything. Room was large and spacious with huge fridge and freezer, table and chairs large sofa and TV. AC was a little noisy so we turned off and opened the windows that overlooked the rear decking so had a lovely breeze coming in. Pool area and rear deck just gorgeous, so quiet too. Stacey very easy to communicate with and left clear instructions to check in as we arrived after 6pm. She is a lovely host and gave some great advice on eating for breakfast. The dolphins also came to visit off the rear decking Just a shame we only booked 1 night. Will hope to return soon.

Barefoot is a very clean, rennovated little facility that is in the middle of everything in walking distance is colorful and everything is in miniature compare to usual hotel or motel. I was hotel manager and now i work for an worldwide Airlines and i was sceptical about it but as soon i would in the little cute lobbie i start felling a lot release...Stacie she is incredible as a good European Lady she offer the perfect hospitality. Outside the lobbie there is a little pier you can rent scooter ther or do some water activity as water sky. But when i walk to the room i was happy to see everything was perfectly clean and organized, and i did my usually inspection and guess what? Perfect. The little heated pool and outside area bring you to a old fashion retrò british look, you can find the beds, tables and chairs and the BBQ area. In a little corner she put every morning clean towels for you to use at the beach (which is 2 min walking) or for the pool and you need to leave them there so she can wash them and freshly replace. Well i will not only go back there everytime i go to Tampa but i am raccomade it to every one!

I sleep in the dark and for me they need to put curtains in the bedroom but that's me...other than that i loved everything

Rooms were well maintained and clean. Staff was welcoming and friendly, like we had stayed there several times before! Very close to to beach, food, shopping, as well as many attractions.

Mattress was a little firm for me, even just a pad would be great.

From the start the lady at the front desk was exceptional! I believe her name was Stacey. She delivered the best customer service i believe i have ever had at a hotel. LOCATION was AWESOME! just steps from the beach, the marina where all the tours are, and steps from the restaurants and shopping. We did not have to drive anywhere the entire time.

The room was older and the bathroom was very small, but it was very clean and all we needed and the location made it all worth it

location was perfect in the middle of all the restaurants and shops there is a very convenient 24 CVS right across the motel, it was very clean loved the cheerful colors

this is most probably what most motels/hotels do (customary) but you will loose your deposit money if there is a cancellation on your flight or your flight is moved to the next day and you didn’t get to stay in that first night.. at the end of the day that is not the motel’s fault but something to keep in mind since Florida’s weather is unpredictable

For the price this was an excellent place for a short getaway. The location is central to the beach, stores and restaurants. There is a Walgreens and several restaurants next door. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They let us store our bags on the first day until we could check in. The pool area was clean and had lots of chairs and tables. The small kitchen had everything we needed for our stay.

For the price we were very happy with our room. The room was small, and the restroom was tiny, but for our three night stay it was great.

The location cannot be beat! Only a few minutes walk to the beach, right on the bay with a beautiful scenic view and so many shops, restaurants and bars just across the street. The staff were all so nice and accommodating. We were supposed to arrive before the office closed and due to an unforeseen flight cancellation we ended up arriving at 2am. Staff were very helpful in making sure we could get into our room when we arrived and had no issues with our late check in. We used the pool every day and it was so nice to have that option for when we wanted to stay close to our room. Overall an amazing experience!! We can’t wait to come back.

it was a very quaint motel. it is a little older but very well taken care of. The room was nice. The front desk staff were wonderful. It was in walking distance to everything that you need. There’s a 24 hour Walgreens right at next door. I just loved it and will come back again and again.

Only little minor things like the red brick around the pool gets really hot so you have to remember to wear your flip-flops. And there are no USB outlets so remember to bring a plug.

The location was excellent, we didn't even need a car rental once we got to the property. The beach, restaurants, Walgreens are all within walking distance. No parking fee and you can also catch a Trolley right outside. Staff very nice

Control of the air condition unit was difficult. Had a hard time adjusting the thermostat to keep the room cool.
