Hotel Cabana Clearwater Beach

I really don't think you can beat the location of the property for the price. The hotel really has great value for money. I loved how everything was decorated inside the room and around the pool area. I loved the lights, the sunning deck and the heated pool. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use any of those wonderful things because the weather was SO windy and cold but, we would stay here again. Check-in was easy and everyone was helpful!

The bed and pillows were pretty uncomfortable, but we might just be a little particular, I know my partner is. The last couple nights were rough because we weren't sleeping well. There really needs to be a fan in the bathroom. Was hard to control the temperature in the bedroom.

Clearwater Beach at the location of Hotel Cabana is a peaceful and quiet place to spend a few days lounging on the gorgeous white sands of the Gulf!! After a very short walk, there's a long stretch of soft white sand to the water with families enjoying beach and surf. If you want action all the hubbub is just a short distance away where shops and restaurants are located. Hubby and I do an annual trek to get some R&R and stay at this hotel each and every time. We like the throwback vibe and the cozy quiet feeling of the place.

Time to consider work around the pool. The paver deck area (with very nice loungers and umbrellas) is not heat resistant and the area near at the steps into the pool is dangerously slippery.

If you’re looking for a clean, updated, hotel away from the craziness of Clearwater, this is the perfect place. 3 minute walk to the beach. I stayed in a suite that offers a full kitchen so we cooked a lot of our own meals. A small pool, but big enough to enjoy.

I didn’t feel the property manager was very easy to talk to. I had several interactions where I felt she just wanted to end the conversation before I was finished talking. I heard this same complaint from several other guests. We had a late flight when leaving and I asked for a later check out. There was no accommodation for this. Check out is at 10 am!!! We hung out at the hotel for hours after at the pool and still at 4pm there was no one new in our room. It would have been nice to stay a little later in the room. We had so much fun at the hotel, the managers attitude did not ruin our trip. Still worth the stay.

We liked the modern style of our room. It's very clean and upon request our room was cleaned daily. The pool area is nice and clean. The bath towels were very soft and they provided plenty, so we had a set for each child as well. They provided beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas for the beach. Beach is a 2-minute walk. Parking was covered by the property with a certificate.

We arrived 8:15pm and there was nobody at the reception. We found out that the receptionist is there only until 8pm. They left our room key in the post box with instructions, but we only received our parking document in the morning. We had to pay for the parking until then. Our air conditioner was not working properly, but this was not a big issue for us as we spent the days outside. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable.

The room was exactly as pictured and it overall was a big component of what made our Clearwater Beach trip so great and memorable. Prime location to beach, restaurants, literally everything. Absolutely would and will be staying here again. :)

I have no complaints. A later check-out time would've been nice, although I didn't see or inquire if this was even an option. Therefore no fault to Hotel Cabana. As I've mentioned before, I would and will stay at this property again. It was fabulous! Definitely played a part in what made our Clearwater Beach trip so amazing!

Loved the pool area with the seating areas surrounded by lovely palm trees. Very clean rooms, very comfortable bed and delicious hot coffee at 7:30am.

i would have liked a larger sink in my bathroom and a shelf to place make up. Since my room had a microwave and a refrigerator, it would have been most convenient to have some eating utensils, paper plates and a cup to heat water for hot tea. i had to purchase a ceramic mug to make tea. It would have also been considerate for management to inform guests of chairs for the beach, location and time of morning coffee, etc. I had to stop and ask at reception quite often.

Soft, clean, comfortable linens and pool towels everyday. Excellent location - quiet end of town but, close enough for walking to restaurants and shops. Maintenance and staff were friendly and kind. The pool area was exceptionally clean.

Simple fixes -lights above the kitchenette, small toiletry table in the bathroom for hairbrushes, toothbrushes, etc. This would be helpful since the sink is so small. A couple of grills poolside to cook up some steaks or chicken on.

The staff was great. The property was well-kept and very clean. Just a couple minute walk to the beach. We loved that it was located in a quieter area of Clearwater Beach. We enjoyed the coffee that was put out for the guests near the pool in the morning. Lots of cable channels. Parking available on the property and in front of the office. Pool was very clean and the water was a cozy temperature.

Bathroom super small. Maybe 8 x 3. The shower head was placed just a few inches from the back wall instead of centered in the middle. Your body had to touch the wall in order for the shower head to be centered on your body. The mattress was very squishy. I like a softer mattress but this may have been old. Not sure. The room needs some hooks for hanging wet towels as well as more clothes hangers.

I loved the 2 bedroom unit. It was very spacious and modern. The location near the beach was awesome. I loved the private little courtyard/pool area of the vacation rentals. The staff was very accessible for anything we could need in our unit. We were there during Hurricane/Tropical Storm Nicole and were to check out during. We were allowed a late check out and were allowed to stay until the storm had passed and it was safe to travel. This may have been because our unit was not rented that next night. I routinely saw staff cleaning the outside areas and keeping everything nice and tidy at the property. I will definitely be back!

Need better lighting in the bathroom; particularly the shower area. Also the silverware in the kitchen needs to be replenished. Two 8 piece sets would be ideal and also need baking dishes in kitchen. The hot water in the bathroom takes a bit to get really hot.

The pool was excellent and well maintained. Another nice touch was providing free coffee between 07:30 and 10:00 am each day and a supply of beach towels that could be exchanged daily. There was also items available that could be taken to the beach such as lounger chairs.

Our only gripe was that travelling from the UK and arriving after the reception closed at 20:00, it would have been nice to have some water provided in the room’s fridge.
