Edge Hotel Clearwater Beach

It's a very nice, modern, clean hotel with great views of the Gulf of Mexico. Definitely room with balcony is worth the extra! Staff was helpful, from the young man in garage entrance to the sweet lady at the gift shop. Roof bar has great views and staff as well. Food took little longer to come, but entertained by the view while sipping on local beer, we didn't mind the wait. Room and bathroom good size and practical. Well priced especially compared to other hotels in this area.

Check in was little slow as the system was allegedly down. Toilet very noisy while flushing. Otherwise nothing, we were very happy!

Location was great! Killer sunset!! To go breakfeast was a bonus and we'll run!

Glass in small edge pool a bit dirty with scumline hard so too see out; hallway and elevator air conditioner not working but was working in our room.

The room was clean and quiet. Was outside from elevator, couldn’t hear anything, no doors slamming either.the pool area was very nice as well. The property was clean, breakfast was good.

Get rid of the amenity fee. People pay a lot for the rooms and gratuity already, continental or hot breakfasts are included in most hotels. My pricing when I booked said it includes the amenity fee. When I got there I had to pay. The hotel should have honored that. Having no no amenity fee avoids these things that people are not expecting

The view from the balconies and the infinty pool are breathtaking. the location is perfect its walkkng distance from everything we didn't need a car for our whole stay excpet from/to airport. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, thry go above and beyond to make your stay exceeds the expectations. The room services are really good at what they do and they leave you the room sparkling clean and smells really nice 👌 I highly recommend I would definitely go back

It was very expensive for a one night stay. The complimentary breakfast any a better selection. They should of have a hot breakfast selection.

Everything was wonderful except there was a dirty spot of blood on the bathroom wall and the air conditioning didn’t cool the room down. We called the front desk and they weren’t able to move us but they gave us a box fan that was covered in dust and falling apart. We slept with the covers off the bed and we were only staying for one night. I hope they were able to get it fixed before the next guests arrived.

Location was amazing, right on the water, and once you were outside the hotel is was only a five minute walk to beach and shops. Staff was super friendly and accommodating.

We were not aware of the amenities fee per day you stayed that had to be paid up front when arriving. Not sure if it was a detailed that was missed due to booking a website other than the hotels direct site, but we passing others checking in throughout the week, it seemed like we were not the only ones. Also the breakfast that was included could have been more than the same pre-wrapped items, but we assumed that was just a covid related thing.

The crowded garage entrance and the need to clean this area. Definitely needed a power washing and removal of some bike and cart rentals. Breakfast was late opening due to staffing issue and then they removed pancake making machine’s after the first day of a three day stay. Raining upon arrival, the pool bar and upstairs roof top bar was closed. Then we were referred to the other hotel for amenities. Don’t like this tactic, I stayed at the Edge not Holiday Inn.

There was a gas station right by the hotel for late night snacks. There is a REALLY good crepe place and a Taco Bus right at the entrance of the hotel. You can also walk the beach directly to your right across from the gas station I mentioned above. I almost forgot, there is a huge mini golf course behind the gas station as well!

For paying $550 I was honestly hoping for a bathtub or garden tub and we got a standup shower. I know it's petty but that's really the only thing I can think of. Everything else was awesome. The staff was friendly and helpful and the view from the room was really pretty. Will come again when I save some money!

Pretty good location.... close to the end of Clearwater Beach. New hotel, parking garage great! Pool area nice. Breakfast good considering Covid. Rooms wilt outside balcony!

Access to beach 1/2 block away...gulf views but no beach access from the hotel. No whirlpool...
