Camelot Beach Suites

Camelot Suites was across the road from the beach -- It is a very large beach so there is a walk to the waves. The pool and property was very well maintained. Our studio was charming (newly redecorated) and on the first floor. Location was easy for going to other tourist sites we wanted to visit. A big shout out to the VALUE of the City Pass. We would go back to Camelot Suites if we go to Clearwater again.

There is a spirial staircase to get to the roof for the grill. heights is not our thing. But the grill had all the tools you needed and also seating. Great for the younger folks. But this 78 year old was not going up those steps. My daughter did and just brought the grillled food down to our studio.

Located only one block from the beach and within walking distance of stores, restaurants and anything else we needed. Friendly staff, clean room, comfortable beds, and located in a quiet area. We also enjoyed that the pool was right outside our room so it was easy to walk back in the room to use the restroom or grab things we needed. The hotel also had chairs and beach toys we could borrow, which was great since we were from out of town. We liked that the room had a kitchen and grills onsite so we could cook and not eat out the whole time.

There was nothing we disliked about this hotel.

Location was amazing. Extremely short walk to the beach. Pool was clean and facilities were well kept. Room was surprisingly big and access was very easy. Suites were a short walk to the strip but not too close that all the noise and traffic was bothersome at night. Last Bonus, facility was right across street from a Gas Station which covered all the late night snack cravings and morning breakfast options. Would stay again given the opportunity.

The proximity to the beach, shops and restaurants was perfect! It was even right next door to a playground which my kids enjoyed daily.

There was no designated smoking area. People were smoking by the pool all day long so I was dragging my kids through clouds of smoke multiple times a day to come and go or when swimming in the pool.

Great location and a hidden gem. Don’t be put off by the photos as would definitely stay here again as it was perfect for our stay. 2 minutes from the beach and staff were really helpful and pleasant.

Very clean, well maintained and great location. Price was a quarter of everything else and would definitely stay here again when I go back to Clearwater.

A quaint 2-story motel with rooms that overlook a nice pool. My room included a 4-burn gas stove, fridge, toaster over, a quality coffee maker (very important for someone like me who drinks coffee like it’s a religion). The queen bed and sofa were comfortable. The room and kitchen has everything you need. The only issue is that the stand-up shower is quite small, which may be an issue if you’re very wide or tall. The motel is a few-minute walking distance to everything - the beach, restaurants, bars, liquor store, and shops.

The only thing that I didn’t like is that I didn’t have hot water for 1 day of my 2-day stay. But that was a fluke…apparently the water heater caught fire the day that I arrived. The plumber had it fixed the next day.

We loved Camelot hotel.Just perfect small hotel in perfect location ,swimming pool,free parking, it's almost like exclusive mini resort.Kitchen with a fridge stove, and a microwave is a bonus.The staff is very sweet, they made our stay very comfortable and did everything we asked and beyond.We love this place.

Cute old school classic with charm

People in pool chairs right outside our door constantly. Doors are loose fitting and felt they were ease dropping on our conversations inside our room. They were sin lovers but we felt it would be better if they say by there own door. With pool chairs in lounge position they about 1 1/2 feet from our door. We had to keep our shades down because they would be glaring into our window. We definitely would of enjoyed our stay if we would have been 2nd floor no pool chair privacy issues. Not your fault but the traffic & insane roundabout feature with all the foot traffic on weekends was unbearable. On Monday is was fine. We would use again but 2nd floor unit & NO Weekends.

Amazing location! Quick walk to the beach, great shooping and eating nearby....can't wait to get back to FL! Nice little kitchenette in the room stocked with silverware and a few basic features needed to get by. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

Bathroom is on the smaller side, but water pressure is great. Could never figure out the TV...

Liked the price and size of the room. It’s hard to find a place for a family of 5. Nice pool and loved the Reefer for drinks and food across the street as well as the Speedy for sodas, water and snacks. The bath towels provided were better than most hotel towels.

Glitchy televisions and really cheap bed sheets-the kind that make you hot.
