The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

The hotel was outdated and could use a serious makeover. To have a parking space is a plus and the staff was very helpful and friendly!!! But the rooms were clean and the location and view were amazing!!!

Local youngsters climbed over the fence to use the pool but not in a good way. Drinking, drugs, throwing empty bottles besides the pool and worse… Staff told it was a local problem in many hotels… We didn’t see them again the following days tho👍I guess the staff fixed it…

Location and beach were excellent. Loved sitting on the porch looking out to the ocean.

My daughter is a paraplegic. She is in an electric wheelchair and the room was not equipped for her. She couldn't get in the bathroom at all. That was very difficult. We had to move one of the beds and dresser just so she could get to the living area. It would be great if you could make 2 rooms into a handicap accessible room. We love staying with you but it just doesn't work for us.

Staff is fantastic, friendly and helpful esp. Ronda she's the best!!!!

No daily room cleaning. They can't get workers just like everyone, only 2 housekeepers they can't keep up.

Great view of the ocean and close to the best part of the beach.

One staff member was very rude, but the rest was wonderful. I asked for a key card cause I was locked out and he said “didn’t I give you two” with a rude attitude. I have NEVER been to a hotel that didn’t give you an extra key when asked. Also, the nights he worked he would go to close the pool and stare at my husband and I sitting on the balcony. He then went up the elevator to each floor and continued to stare at us from each floor.

We were right across the street from the beach. Breakfast was convenient and although basic it was good.

Much of the facilities were dated. Pulling in to the parking lot the first night felt like we were in some back alley. No place to rinse off beach sand, so we tracked everything back into the room.

Old hotel but great. Personal stuff very nice, they are in front desk 24hrs. Check in was at 3pm but they let us check in at 12.30 since our room was already cleaned. Room was good and clean. Room has AC, hot and cold water in bathroom. Hotel has a pool that works 9am to 9pm. Clean but it could get dirty in the afternoon/evening since usually they are kids using it. Hotel breakfast was good, just what is necessary to start your day (bagels, already made pancakes, some pastries, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, coffee, juice, yogurt, milk, cream cheese, jelly, surup, milk or half&half). Hotel parking free. The location of the hotel is amazing! Just across the street of the beach and between 2 of the main streets of Clearwater, full of restaurants and bars.

The only thing I didnt like is that we didnt have a small fridge or microwave in the room. You gotta upgrade the room to suit to have those. Although there is a free ice machine in the hotel so we just use a bucket to put ice and get our drinks cold. They dont have cleanning personal everyday at least you ask for it 24hrs prior but you can ask for more towels or toilettes in the front desk and the people there are always down to help you.

Can't get a better location and included parking. Room setup was good as well and every room had a beach view. Wonderful pool that was heated. Staff was very helpful and accommodating as well. I felt bad for the staff as I feel like they are a skeleton crew holding this place together. Everything from housekeeping, maintenance, front lobby staff seemed like they needed more help.

This place is dated and worn in. Room was overdue renovations but was 100% functional. The view and great ac made up for it. They were also severely understaffed but everyone we met working was awesome. The pool was heated and great but the pool bar looked like it hadn't been used in a while. The bar and fire pits were all in need of work but this didn't hamper our stay. When everything is said and done we'd all still stay here again.

Updated facilities

It was right across from the beach with excellent views from the 5th floor. I asked to stay in the quietest part of the motel so I got room 501 and never heard a peep. Now this...it was February and it was packed. As in the beach looked like Spring Break (so I hated that part). The hotel is old. No doubt BUT it was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

Update the rooms. The pictures are 1984.
