Crowne Plaza Orlando - Lake Buena Vista, an IHG Hotel

The room was great. I was scared to what I would find because it was a booking very cheap room, but it was above and beyond. The shower curtain was new, the beds were reaaaaally comfortable to sleep in, the fridge worked very good. Everything was great. Very fast at resolving issues. It's near a starbucks drive thru, a gas station, disney and an olive garden, what else do you need?

The only problem I had was that the hotel charged me twice for the room (once through booking and once upon arrival), had I not checked that on my bank statement, I would have payed double of what my reservation said. On checkout I told the front desk lady about my issue, she checked, and she kindly agreed to reimburse me. Still waiting on that, but I know it will come through.

Room is bigger than I expected. Bathroom is nice too. Mattress is firmer than I would prefer but bed overall was super comfy. K cup options in room were good. Breakfast has lots of options. Staff is super nice. Stefani was amazing. Balcony had great view. Close to Starbucks and Domino’s both of which are clean and have great customer service.

Microwave in the room. There is one in the lobby that you can use though.

All of the staff have been very respectful and accomodating. Just aroubd 10-15 to disney world depending which park you go. The room is clean and the beds are comfortable. I just hope they would offer free breakfast next time we visit. We had fun overall!

A little noisy in the hallway especially at night but that can't be helped.

couldn’t adjust air conditioning fan speed. ended up putting extra pillows over register vents to reduce cooling. we were freezing at first.

We’ve stayed here 4 times and breakfast was always complimentary but now is an extra charge. Also, pool was a little rundown looking from 2 years ago when we were there.

One of the ladys at the desk the morning of 07/29 was EXCELLENNT!! She needs a raise. She was courteous, quick to find any answers, and pays very well attention to the guests. Other staff were pretty nice as well.

Unfortunately, the first night of the 28th, we arrived at almost 1 am. the man at the desk insisted my husband to pay although I already paid online when i booked, the man disagreed, hubby came out to where i had to literally prove everything that we paid. He made us stand for quite a few minutes while saying nothing and snarking till he finally said it was indeed paid. We dropped it, it was whatever. Second night of the 29th. We booked a second room for our family. When they checked in we paid AGAIN. Where i already paid 170 online for the room, he was charged 250 again for the same room. This occurred with the same guy at the counter both nights. Now we are waiting to get back the second deposit and room fee. Please, have him trained on this.

The food from restaurant inside was very good.

The elevators and hallways were hot, felt like the air conditioning was off.

The Location is close to dining, shopping and Disney parks as well as Disney springs. Ck in was a breeze with friendly staff, lobby very clean. Room was good size, king bed and pillows were comfy. Iron and hair dryer in room. Coffee maker and coffee w cups in room. Mini frig in room. Nice pool but too cold this trip.

They need a gated parking lot or car tags for hotel, we came back to room around 8pm and people were parking in hotel lot and walking to restaurants!! I reported it. Our bathtub had a sloppy job of caulking which was all over the tub and drain. 2 hand towels had long black hair on them. Bed had very thin blanket. Sliding door to balcony hard to open n close, needs Wd40. They allow dogs, we heard one all night plus people in and out of their rooms. Bathroom body towels thin and short. Balcony on our room.

Location was great on local bus routes near Disney Springs area & near restaurants & it’s a small hotel plus pool area v nice (quiet in the day) tho could be a big deeper - open 8-11 v good. Buffet or a la carte breakfast available. Store with snacks & some breakfast items.

breakfast pricey $16:95 tho not a huge choice - I did have it 3 days then bought my own food at Walgreens. Large balcony doors were extremely heavy & stiff to slide open! Crack of bright light around the door was not welcome so had to put cushions & clothing around it!
