Hilton Garden Inn Athens Downtown

I have to commend the staff at the Hilton Garden Inn, Athens. Of course the hotel was perfect. What wasn't perfect was the unforseen tornado. As the sirens in the area went off, the staff was cool, collected and displayed ultimate professionalism. After the tornado threat came a fire alarm just a few hours later- yet again excellent professionalism. Very impressive 👏 Side note. Breakfast was amazing!!

The only downer was that the weather knocked out the cable, so while in the room we couldn't watch tv. No biggie..

I always choose this hotel when I'm in Athens because of the proximity to the UGA campus. And I prefer Hilton properties.

We were in Athens for a big swim meet at UGA. However, we were there the weekend after finals, and the college kids were celebrating hard - up and down the strip. So lots of noise. No sleep Saturday night

Everything dealing with my room was wonderful. Clean room and a cozy stay.

Having the pay $30 a night for parking. I feel as much as you have to lay for the stay that parking should be included in that.

Everything was absolutely wonderful exactly what I expected the Staff at the front desk was just as helpful and just as good as the staff at the Beverly Hills Hilton I think I would write distaff higher because they are definitely friendlier

Staff extremely personable and helpful!! Coffee in lobby was great.

Cookies were so over-baked and hard as a rock every single day. Choices of beer in the hotel bar were ALL lower end. It would help to offer at least one imported higher priced beer. People who want it would be willing to pay for it. Bar opens late and closes too early.

Ths staff was very nice, we had a snafu with the rooms and they quickly changed our room.

We had a nice view with the first room, we had a view of the trash cans from the second room

Staff was all very nice. Everything smelled and looked very clean. They weren’t serving any kind of breakfast due to COVID, but there is a wonderful bagel shop right around the corner that has eggs and breakfast meats. Good location downtown.

I just wish their entrance was more clearly marked because it was a bit confusing trying to find the entrance.

Clean, comfortable, great location

Breakfast was ok. It would have been better to skip the included breakfast, especially given the great location that was walking distance to lots of restaurants.

Location was great. My convention was in the classic center so it was right across the street.

I had to pay for parking and no complimentary breakfast.

The cost for a continental breakfast was a bit much considering the room costs. Also the refrigerator in the room had a musty mold smell. A plate and bowl in the room to use with the microwave would have been appreciated
