SpringHill Suites by Marriott Athens Downtown/University Area

I loved the spacious room and the modern bathrooms. Everything was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The breakfast buffet was good too and the staff very friendly.

The only complaint with the A/C in the room. It shut off and on every 10 minutes and didn't cool very well. The room felt humid in the mornings. Even though I adjusted the temperature, I felt the system kept changing the temperature throughout the night.

Breakfast only one meat served. We originally booked to stay at your downtown hotel but like the location that we arrived to by mistake and decided to stay at this location. Could not understand why we were charged a much higher rate for this hotel. Wasn't happy about that.

Excellent location. We were a block from the center of town. The room was modern, clean, and the bed was comfortable. It’s either a new hotel or nicely updated. Drinks were available to purchase. Would highly recommend.

Liked it all, but since they had a bar, would have been nice to have some music in the evening.

Quality stay. Rooms were updated and large, with fridge and nice office seating area.

Towels were like something out of a middle school locker room. Shower was strangely situated. I had to open a big glass door to reach around to turn on the shower, and the shower head was on the opposite side. Just don't turn it on too cold or too hot, or you will have a hell of a time trying to adjust the temperature before you get in.

Robin at the front desk was awesome. There was a problem with our reservation and she was able to resolve it quickly.

The breakfast was not as good as I expected after reading the reviews. It was OK at best. There was a man behind the front desk who expected me to contact Booking.com myself to resolve our reservation issues myself even though I had a confirmation number.

The hotel is beautiful, modern, and clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable and the room was quiet from neighbors.

Breakfast ended at 9 am?! We went downstairs and EVERYTHING was put away, even the coffee cups. We begged for anything and they brought out a muffin and two oranges. Had to ask for coffee cups. Coffee was almost gone. Not impressed whatsoever.

1st, I was there for a concert and it was suppose to have been me and my boyfriend. With work conflict he could not go so his sister went. I had gotten a king room but really needed a double room. They happily changed it with no cost difference. The staff is very inviting and their breakfast is VERY good.. The Location was spot on, and the overall hotel was very clean and relaxing. I will stay here's again and again.

Excellent proximity to downtown Athens and the 40 Watt Club. Very clean rooms and public spaces.

Breakfast was fresh and hot, but needed a meat side for the scrambled eggs. There were also no bread choices and no toaster.

Cleanliness of the lobby and room. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful with dining options. Breakfast was great and plentiful!

The fact that you charge to park I find that to be stupid If you want someone to stay there they need to be able to park their car that is convenient I travel to Athens a good bit and will have to re think my next stay
