Hampton Inn Hadley-Amherst Area

The breakfast was very nice, unfortunately by 9 am there was no cut up fruit left. However, we really liked the bananas and apples that were left out !!we also really liked the snack area, lots of choices and very reasonable prices! And the woman who was there on fri nite was very friendly!!we also liked the fact there was ice water for the quests ! The staff were all very friendly, especially the person who checked us in on fri, we joined the rewards program because of him! We also really appreciated the proximity of the hotel to many museums, shopping, restaurants etc.

Well, there was trash( a wrapper off of something) left under the sink table from the previous guests, or the ones before that as who knows how long it had been there) which kind of made me question the housekeeping. Also, for not being totally full, it would've been great if we didn't have a noisy neighbor above us. And, free coffee in the lobby would've been great!

very clean and comfortable, they had a car charger for the electric cars which was a great bonus. hot breakfast was nice, staff with pleasant and helpful.

I asked for a late check out, but that wasn't communicated to the staff the next day, so they came knocking on the door at 11:00. not a big deal but it would have been nice if they had known. I was charged more than my confirmation for the room, so that required a phone call to get straightened out. and I was charged a significantly higher amount for the car charger, and that required another phone call to straighten out.

Very clean, very quiet, with the exception of my Granddaughters who stayed with me, sorry fellow hotel patrons. Very pleasant customer service.

We liked the breakfast and the cookies in the afternoon. Easy to get to the beverage station on our way back to the room. TV was easy to operate. Linens were fresh. Hotel was quiet. Good location and easy to get around the area. Restaurants were easy to find and get to.

It was difficult to see in our room. Needs better lighting. There was a moldy smell in the room when we arrived. Our eyes were irritated during our stay in the room. Bathroom vanity needed an update. Seems there had been a leak in the room at some time. Carpet in hallways is not attractive. Thought the room was expensive...but all hotels in the area were overpriced.

Spotlessly clean room and bathroom and a comfortable bed, in fact the best night's sleep in years! Corporate self serve style breakfast, three hot choices, different both mornings plus self cook waffles, cereals, Juices and baked goods. Nice grounds, village shops and cherry trees in blossom (May 8/9). The is a clean pool and fitness room for those that wish to partake. One thing impressed me, 30 minutes after I got to my room, the nice lady on the desk phoned to room to see if everything was okay. That was a nice touch.

Nothing really, but as a chef and ex-hotelier nit picking, breakfast could do with some pre-seasoning. The room was spotless and looked newly refurbished, but 4 of the 8 USB sockets were inoperative (worn out, sloppy fit) from overuse. Not big deal as I bought my own charger. The gentleman at checkout wrote it down for attention. The safety certificate in the elevator in 1 month and 9 days expired. Nothing that was a dealbreaker and I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Staff were wonderful. Super helpful and nice! Business centre great Towels and toiletries really nice Beds and pillows really comfortable, sheets nice Blackout blinds great Tv stations cable great Porridge and apples and hot food at breakfast were great! Microwave was nice Fireplace at reception /breakfast area was great Gym and pool

Would like thicker lighter coloured carpets in the room when replacing them Would like more variety of bread for toast please, natural yogurt, stronger coffee

Really nice, well-maintained, cozy hotel in a great part of western Mass. Stay there often when my son has large parties and only my husband stays at home with the kids! I can catch up on work, take a dip in the small but very nice pool, relax, and have a great breakfast the next day. Incredibly warm, helpful staff.

The property cleanses were a welcome relief during these Covid-afraid times. My room appeared to be soundproof from the outside, which was amazing given that the Inn is located near a busy road. If you had questions, the staff was fantastic; they didn't make it seem like it was a chore to answer them. The freshly baked cookies and 24-hour tea/coffee service were always neat and clean. I was unable to eat breakfast there, but they provided a breakfast to go bag, which solved the problem.

Both of us loved everything about the hotel, extra kudos for the dog trash can right near the side entrance/exit, high ceilings, fresh comfortable bedding, convenient room for people with pets near the side exit

would've been amazing to have a microwave + the dog trash could use a more frequent cleaning (it was packed full during our short stay)

Close to u mass Amherst which we are touring today . Very neat snd clean
