The view is espetacular, and location is perfect. The food at the restaurant and the pools are the highlight of the hotel for sure. You don't need to wait in lines to access the Water Tower bar and the pool bar view is breathtaking!

The waiting time for the elevators is terrible. During the weekend or at night starting from Thursday the traffic to the rooftop bars area increases a lot, affecting the room area elevator traffic as well. The elevators are so slow and so busy, that some days I had to wait for almost 20 minutes to go back to my room from the ground floor. Implementing an elevator for guest only in the room area might help mitigate this issue.

The staff here is incredible. I stayed at the hotel twice in the span of 2-3 weeks on two separate trips. I'd forgotten some clothes in my room on my first trip after checking out, and when I came back again a week later for my second stay, they went above and beyond to track them down for me. I genuinely didn't have a single bad interaction with any of the staff while staying there, and definitely will consider booking again with them on my next visit. The location itself is wonderful. It takes me less than ten minutes to get to the subway stop on foot, which I can take the L train straight to Manhattan. Williamsburg is also coming up in the food scene, so there's a lot of great restaurants and coffee shops nearby.

The standard room was great, but it was really small, so if you've got a lot of luggage or are planning to be two in one room with more than two large luggage bags, you're probably not going to have enough room to move around. I also wasn't a huge fan of the crowding from clubgoers in front of the hotel at the end of the night. I was chatting with a friend outside in the seating area, and someone threw up right in front of me in one of the plants next to the front door. It was not a good sight. I also was bummed to hear that the hotel was bought and would be rebranded. Keep The Williamsburg Hotel branding!!!!!!!!!!! Don't change it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In summary: EVERYTHING (except for the shower design). From Juan at the door to Cody at the front desk to Carlos and Elena at the bar to everyone we had the pleasure of running into...the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming! They catered to our every need with a smile and always made sure we were treated like royalty. The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room was also beautifully decorated (that floor is amazing!), spacious and quiet. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were heavenly! The drinks at the bars - both downstairs and in the Water Tower - were masterfully crafted and not over the top pricy...considering New York's standards! We used the hotel gym which was perfect for our weekend needs but if you wanna go more hardcore, the hotel is offering complementary guest passes to a gym nearby. Lastly, how can one review the Williamsburg Hotel without mentioning the Water Tower bar?! It is SPECTACULAR. And I'm not even referring to the view of the Manhattan skyline which is equally spectacular. Great music with a reasonable noise level that welcomes conversations, great drinks...all in all, it's a fabtastic place for a date! We were in town to celebrate our 6th anniversary and boy were we happy we chose the Williamsburg Hotel. Thank you all for making our weekend one to remember forever!

The shower design. With the efforts put into the hotel and the rooms designs, I cannot understand how and why the designers went for an open shower concept. The glass panel covers less than half of the shower's surface. As a result, as soon as you use the rainfall, water splashes outside the shower and onto the bathroom floor. If you elect to use the shower handle instead, you freeze you a** off. It most definitely not something that will prevent me from renting a room again as everything else was beyond amazing but something to factor in when the time comes to renovate the rooms.

The hotel is very esthetically pleasing, you can tell they put a lot of work into it’s design from the lobby to the hotel rooms themselves. I was upgraded to a suite and it was really nice! The view was amazing and my favorite part would have to be the bathroom. It looks unreal!! A lot of nightlife and places to eat Around the property as well

I wasnt aware of the rooftop/club (maybe should’ve done more research) so you should expect noise based on that, but it wasn’t too bad. The only downside to the suite was the the balcony door didn’t lock

The staff were friendly & helpful. Room had a great view. Great breakfast. Free cookies & coffee. Lovely bar area. Thoughtful touches for our anniversary. Good quality robes & towels.

The bed was too small and very uncomfortable, mattress and pillows all really soft. Room too small for suitcases to be opened or stored. Its prob fine for a weekend with a hold-all. Roof & water tower were shut first night due to rain, water tower 2nd night private party. 3rd night all open to people not staying at the hotel.

City view room with terracee had great view and comfortable bed. Bath was reasonable size with good fittings. Friendly staff. Mini bar offerings wide and less outrageously priced than most.

Room was pretty small, tight to manoeuvre with two (normal sized) people. Folding luggage rack was in room, but I can't imagine where you'd put it if you wanted to use it. Small half closet and two night table drawers are all the storage offered, so very little room to put your things. Fine for a couple of night's worth of stuff, but can't see it holding bags for a longer trip. Greatly object to the $45 "destination fee" tacked on at check out. When asked we were told it was for extra amenities and services like the free coffee in the morning in the lobby and the gym. There was no sign or mention of a gym, and the "free" coffees wind up to be over $11 at that rate. Not mentioned in reservation confirmation that I can see.

Facilities in the hotel such as the free morning coffee and pastries. Quality of furnishings and hotel design features. Williamsburg - Location good for local attraction and food and drink. Easy for subway/transport to Manhattan.

Size of room. Upgraded room would have been a better choice. On check-in I was told I would have to allow a $300 hold on my credit card of which hotel would retain $45 as the "Destination" fee. Booking.com Customer Service did not respond to my request to clarify. On check-out my confirmation proved that this "Destination" charge was not shown and the hotel agreed not to charge. Apparently this charge is shown on the USA but not on the European Booking web-site.

We loved the location, restaurant and staff. After a long day we ordered room service and ate dinner on the balcony. French toast and pancakes delicious. The entire staff at the restaurant and throughout the property could not have been more attentive.

We traveled for a weekend wedding with dresses, suits.. multiple days of clothing. Unfortunately, there was no way to unpack. The "closet" wasn't deep enough to hang our clothes and without a dresser we had to live out of our suitcases. All weekend we tired to avoid bumping into our suitcases and each other. When I mentioned this at checkout the clerk said "yes it's a small space for 2 people". It should be listed as ideal for a single person. I was surprised to find a room with a king size bed to be intended for a single. And lastly, the shower head was too big for the space. Impossible to start the shower without getting soaked.

Stylish interior, fantastic rooftop pool, comfy beds, and friendly staff. The location was perfect for exploring Williamsburg and Greenpoint. The ferry was pretty close too, so you have quick access to both Brooklyn and Manhattan.

For a 5-star hotel, I was hoping for some extras. For instance - a free-of-charge bottle of water is pretty usual elsewhere (at least in the EU), but here there's only the mini bar without a menu (go figure...). And the fact that the soap didn't have any dish to put it in and was sticking to the sink didn't feel luxurious as well.

Very bright and modern bar on the ground floor, the food was excellent for brunch. The pool area is very nice, with live DJs on Sunday, some better than others. Room was Manhattan sized, expected a bit more space in Brooklyn... watch the bed corners at night. Great views of Manhattan from the room terrace as well as stunning views from the pool deck and bar. Check in was painful, as they make everyone wait until 4pm or later, no matter what. Room was lightly cleaned before I got there, and the bathroom could have been cleaner. Price high for the value.
