The room was great and the facility was excellent, it was bit scary to see the hotel policy that you need to be super cautious, if you make bed linen dirty or towel dirty you might loose $150/day which is huge fine. Other than that insecure feeling all was ok.

Someone living in upper floor decided to walk all night in thier room which vibrated my room and stopped me from sleeping, however hotel cannot control these kind of things.

Very Clean Perfect location for me I love the East Village. kitchenette was pretty cool Big room big bed for such a busy location. You can open the windows but dont think about smoking very clean no smoke smell n you get in trouble if you do check out 11am but you can pay to stay longer which I did great options for late checkout or early check in since its staffless it was actually still very organized and you can call staff of their sister hotel with any questions and they answer and help you

I was apprehensive about it not having staff and doing everything from off your phone or an email plus they said in an email after I booked already that they dont take prepaid credit cards so I had to use my moms n take a picture of her ID the night before (you have to do this for your check in; u check in the night before online). all too modern and invasive for my taste but it wasnt that hard and if it saves me money and helps them run such a beautiful hotel it turned out very well but if you dont have an accessible email or phone don't go here because you literally need it to get in. Unique but it works for them gorgeous hotel room

For me this little hotel apartment was perfect. I love the East Village, with all the quirky shops and restaurants. The communication with the establishment was clear and I had no trouble self-checking in. I particularly loved the look of the room. There is a brick wall in the room like in the photo and that decorative idea has always made me feel good. I didn't use the kitchen much but had I stayed longer I would have, and it's always great to have a fridge!! Bed was comfortable, I slept well in spite of jet lag. I would definitely book again another time.

The room was freezing when I arrived, I guess because it was hot outside the air con had been cranked up, but better that than too hot. There could have been an extra shelf or more space in the bathroom to put toiletries, so I put mine on the kitchen counter which is just across from the bathroom. Subway is a little bit of a walk.

Nestled in the vibrant heart of East Village, NYC, this trendy hotel offers an unforgettable urban retreat. From the moment I arrived, the stylish decor and contemporary ambiance set the stage for a chic stay. My room was thoughtfully designed with modern touches, though some areas showed signs of wear and tear. Nevertheless, the comfortable bed and sleek amenities made for a pleasant stay. One aspect that could be improved was the noise level in the common areas, which occasionally detracted from the relaxing atmosphere. However, the hotel's prime location made it easy to explore the hip East Village neighborhood and discover its unique charm and diverse culinary scene. Overall, this trendy hotel provided a memorable experience with its stylish ambiance, and convenient location, making it a solid choice for those seeking a chic and lively stay in East Village, NYC.

My stay at the trendy hotel in East Village, NYC was strange due to the absence of staff. It felts like an AirBnB during my visit instead of a hotel. While the hotel had a stylish vibe and great amenities, the absence of staff presence detracted a little from the overall experience.

Great location. The room offers enough space with a kitchenette. Friendly cleaning staff. Straightforward online check-in process as you check-in one day prior to arrival and should receive the necessary codes by the time you're at your destination's airport. Having read the reviews prior to booking this accommodation I was aware of the noise coming from the street - I am a heavy sleeper and had no issues but if you are not, be aware that it can be loud at night as the neighborhood is very lively.

It was a small but comfortable room and a nice, modernized bathroom with a large shower. The price was reasonable, especially for our single overnight stay. There was a little kitchenette, which we took advantage of for breakfast. Despite what I write below, I would stay there again if I had business in the area, and perhaps even if I didn't. It was a nice little hotel that had been modernized with good taste.

Our room was a fourth floor walkup. Not a problem for us. There is no one on site; you enter the front door with a four-digit code and enter the room with another code. That wasn't a problem, but I was worried that we would get the codes in time and that it they would work. (There was a 24-hour phone number provided.) And it was very, very cold standing on the sidewalk finding the code on my phone. The location was good for us since we had selected a nearby restaurant as the end of our evening, but the area surrounding the hotel seems pretty dirty and seedy, unfortunately for the hotel. There is noise from the street, sirens and such, but that wasn't a problem for either of us.

The location is fantastic - I love the East Village and it's where I like to spend my time in NYC. Check-in and out was super simple. The room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. I loved just being able to come out of the hotel right into the bustle of the East Village.

Some of the furnishings are looking a little tired and dated and need replacing. The kitchen cupboards were scratched, peeling and worn and need a revamp and there was a very broken lamp in the room. The shower is also quite weak, power-wise. A safe in the room would've been good, as there isn't anywhere to put your valuables.

The room looked as expected from pictures, the staff was very accommodating when we requested luggage storage prior to check in, we were also able to go to a sister hotel to store our luggage on the day of check out. The location was also fantastic, it was very easy to get around the city from there, there were a lot of great spots for food nearby. All in all our stay was very positive and smooth!

The blinds didn’t cover the windows fully so it was quite bright in the morning - I’d recommend bringing a sleeping mask in case that affects you.

A hidden gem! Hotel is in a convenient location, room was very clean and relatively spacious for older NYC building. Full kitchenette would be very convenient if you're staying for a few days. Be forewarned - walkup means NO elevator, no rooms on the ground floor and a relatively narrow staircase, so not ideal if you travel with a large heavy suitcase. A little noisy in the late evening from street noise from the bars, etc., but that's normal in the city and complimentary ear plugs in the room are a nice touch. Was a bit concerned about the completely virtual check-in and check-out, but it went smoothly and was convenient. Would definitely consider staying again.

Absolutely perfect. I needed to stay near Mt Sinai Beth Irreal for medical reasons, so just needed a safe, comfortable place to relax for a couple days. My expectations were exceeded. My room was super clean, great AC, private bathroom with great plumbing. Bed was very comfortable. My room seemed well insulated from noise from other rooms, and outside too, as well as can be expected for such a happening neighborhood. Loved this place, easy check-in, felt safe and comfortable. There is a deli/store, right below...a few steps from the hotel entrance. Cleanliness and feeling safe are my personal tops,...this place took 5 stars on both.
